The phenomenon of domestic violence is one of the phenomena that human society has known since ancient times. It is not a product of the present time; Indeed، violence has existed since God Almighty began to create humanity. It is a historical fact that its emergence was linked to the existence of man and developed during his human journey and civilized growth. Family violence is a global phenomenon، as it is one of the problems that are widespread worldwide. As violence is not related to a specific community، there is hardly a community of societies devoid of manifestations of violence، whether apparent or latent within the simple family framework، and family violence takes different forms that differ in form، gravity، meaning and purpose، and the seriousness of the phenomenon of domestic violence is that it is a common and dangerous phenomenon and that Its effects are not limited to the physical effects only، but also to the psychological effects that result from the victim affecting his adaptation and thus his compatibility، and this in turn reflects negatively on the family، which is the first building block of the human being and society. Whereas the widespread manifestations of domestic violence directed against women and the family are causing negative effects on society، the family، the public order، and on the development and development of society، in order to reduce these manifestations; The treatment of this scourge is a matter that imposes it. It was of great importance to clarify how the Iraqi legislator deals with domestic violence and to work to disrupt it and preserve the family entity from it، by reviewing what is already in the Iraqi penal code، personal status، and other Iraqi juvenile legislation as is the case in Iraqi Domestic Violence Protection Law related to the research topic.

This study is an attempt to evaluate the effects of media language misusing in comedian programs of Iraqi Kurdish televisions. To achieve this goal, the researchers have done an online survey with 145 TV viewers; as well as analyzing the thematic contents of 12 episodes of the BEZMÎ BEZM program on the KurdMax satellite channel.   Based on the research results; media language misusing in the BEZMÎ BEZM program has negative effects on viewers of this program, despite the fact that the majority of opinions agreed on the definition of this satellite as a Kurdish entertainment channel and the rates of views of its main programs "Great". However, they also agreed that this program on the KurdMax satellite channel has become a popular platform for insults, exchange of accusations, and defamation of certain personalities and groups in society, and a reason for sabotaging the Kurdish language and its methods, producing linguistic and psychological violence and highlighting gender discrimination. In addition to sabotaging the public taste of viewers, lack of respect for their needs, delinquency of adolescents, reducing the value of artistic work etiquette and educational foundations, and underestimating the family and Kurdish culture and its peculiarities. As for the topics presented in this program, the main goal is to make viewers laugh only and to achieve this; they do not hesitate to spread market language and archaic and patriarchal cultures, encourage gender differences of men and women, social and sexual taboos, defame personalities, neglect health guidelines, and violate professional media ethics. All of the above; represents the main identity of the BEZMÎ BEZM program on the KurdMax satellite channel. As a final point, this research has recommended the relevant people and bodies to subordinate such programs in order to review its content based on legal and ethical media standards, laws, and rules of the Kurdish language, along with abiding professional art principles.

The issues of ‘honour’ - and in particular honour-related crimes - in modern societies undisputedly need more public reflection and discussion, especially at the meeting points of different cultures. The ‘concept of honour and shame’ - although not the only factor - is very important for understanding the background of domestic violence. This applies also - although in no way exclusively - to those Muslim family structures that are based on particular cultural traditions. The division of honour into ‘true’ and ‘artificial’ honours indicates that honour can be used to legitimate the hierarchy between members of the family. From a sociological perspective, the minimalist definition refers to honour as a right to respect. This means that honour exists both subjectively and objectively. It exists subjectively as a personal feeling as being entitled to respect. However, it exists also objectively as a public recognition of the public value of the individual. Honour/dishonour-shame always has a form of publicity.

The interest for the care and education of childhood have varied throughout the different historical time. Together with the transformations experienced within families, childhood has gradually and progressively attained meaning and relevance in the social environment. The new moral and spiritual function assumed by the family in the transition to modern times, and which went beyond its traditional function as transmitter of surname and heritage, implied the appearance of new emotions towards childhood at the same time their individuality intensified. At present, childhood acquires important centrality both in the private family space in which its protection, care, assistance and education prevail, rooted in new link of relationship (Burgess, 1972: 6-7), as well as in the public space, social, political, normative and economic. With these ideas, this research aims to historical analysis of the conception of childhood and its education, from ancient times to the present day, within the framework of the family and considering the repercussions that political, social, economic, demographic and cultural changes have had on childhood.

This Chapter argues that the domestic violence movement is narrowly politicized around the internalities of domestic violence in ways that unintentionally restrain law reform efforts to end family violence. While this internalities frame achieved critical successes in bringing domestic violence into the public frame and shaping critical interventions to it, it also collaterally immunized the state from accountability by paradoxically positioning the crisis of domestic violence and accountability for effective interventions squarely on victims and victim support networks. Expanding the politicization of domestic violence to also include the externalities of domestic violence is a critical – albeit uncomfortable – shift to move from intervening in domestic violence on behalf of victims to ending domestic violence.

This article examines the workplace rights and anti-discrimination protections available for Australian workers who experience family violence. Despite the significance of family violence as a workplace issue, federal anti-discrimination law and, until recently, the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) have failed to provide adequate protection to such employees. The author considers two recent developments in Australian law which may provide more comprehensive rights and protections for family violence victims. Namely, the introduction of domestic violence leave by the Fair Work Amendment (Family and Domestic Violence Leave) Act 2018 (Cth) and the family violence attribute under the ACT Discrimination Act 1991.
