The paper critically evaluates the notion that political Islam is a threat to world peace. The argument is developed in the light of Islamic history and fundamentals of Islam and the research is based on primary and secondary sources. There was a time when magical influence of Muslims in every field of life (socio-economic, Political scientific) was conspicuous. For instance, Al Farabi's books influenced platonic theories. Similarly influence of Sufism on the works of William James, Goethe, August Comte, Nietzsche, Voltaire and Rousseau also cannot be over looked. Muslims taught geology, geography understanding of mathematics rules of philosophy and Industrial Arts and quality of products. Islamic state and society showed many signs of internal decay by 11th Century. The symptoms of decadence were discernible even earlier, the decline of the power and prestige of the caliphs even in their own capital. So, the problems lay with Muslim rulers and parties in rule but not with political Islam. The result was weak administration which shook the foundations of Islamic Empire. It is very important to have a state in order to preach Islam that is why, Mohammad (SWS) established Madina as a political entity to prevail justice on the lines of Quranic injunctions.

Air pollution by heavy metals in the urbanized surroundings presents a serious threat to human health and the environment. Road dust is distinguished as a high-level pollutant and characterized by a significant content of heavy metals. Green spaces play a leading role when it comes to improving the quality of atmospheric air in megalopolises. They trap pollutants. Most of them settle on the surfaces of plant leaves, but some can be also absorbed through the stomata. As a result of these processes, pollutants, along with fallen leaves, can later migrate to other components of the ecosystem. An important component of this system is forest litter that plays a kind of trigger role by regulating the directions of substance flows in the “leaves-litter-soil” system, keeping chemical elements from leaching out and evenly distributing their inflows. Thus, forest litter functions as a sort of biogeochemical barrier and plays a leading role in the ability of ecosystems to self-regulate. Thus, the purpose of this work was to assess the role of green spaces in improving the quality of atmospheric air in the urban surroundings and to conduct a preliminary assessment of the features of the processes of heavy metals transformation within the forest litter. The model site of research is located within the territory of Holosiivskyi forest, a part of the Holosiivskyi National Nature Park (Kyiv). The content of heavy metals in the forest litter was determined using the methods of atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The results of the study of Cu, Ni, Pb, Cd, Cr and Zn content annual dynamics within the forest litter of the hornbeam forest of the Holosiivskyi National Nature Park show that the maximum concentrations are typical for the summer period, when the litter reserves sharply decrease, and the minimum ones – for the autumn-winter period during their accumulation. Comparison of the distribution of heavy metals content within the leaf and fermented layers showed that, under the conditions of the model area, Zn, Cu, and Ni are predominantly accumulated right in the leaf layer of the forest litter. Moreover, it was revealed that the processes of leaf litter mineralization lead to migration of Cu, Ni, Pb, Cd and Cr, and setting of Zn.

The article is devoted to the study of the motivational and semantic sphere for patients with diabetes mellitus. Description of the patients’ main directions of the psychological features are distinguished. This study aims to explorer the formation of a hierarchical system of values, attitudes, experiences and motives of this category of patients. Different approaches in the study of this problem were noted, which point to the great possibilities of prevention in the process of rehabilitation in a given subject. The leading role of psychosocial factors of impairment of their mental adaptation and quality of life in patients with diabetes mellitus is determined. Conducting theoretical analysis of modern psychological studies of the motivational and semantic sphere in patients with diabetes makes it possible to identify and analyze the main directions of rehabilitation of this category of persons, to outline the main motivational components of the disease and their relationship with the semantic sphere of each particular person. The peculiarities of the motivational and semantic sphere of persons with diabetes mellitus are described. The relationship between the motivational and intellectual sphere of personality and its influence on the formation of motives are considered. The importance of life-building and the desire to adapt to a particular way of life, to increase its qualitative characteristics and social significance, to take into account the psychological characteristics of patients, are outlined. A detailed examination of the two structural components of this study (which is one of the key tasks of this topic) allows us to more closely combine them into a single entity that forms the life-orienting purposes of patients with diabetes, and draws attention to the dynamics of motivational processes that occur in individuals during the period the course of the disease and the possibility of correction of these processes. The prospects of further researches which consist in formation and modeling of holistic construct of motivational – semantic sphere in patients with diabetes mellitus are outlined.

The leading role of ovarian steroid hormones in the pathogenesis of uterine fibroids is confirmed by epidemiological, clinical and experimental studies. The new approaches to the treatment of this disease may be developed on the basis of the biological and genetic mechanisms underlying the occurrence and development of leiomyomas. The use of ulipristal acetate in patients with uterine leiomyoma may be a promising method for preparing them to the surgical procedures, but also for avoiding surgical treatment and related hypoestrogenic conditions, which results in the improvement of the women’s quality of life.
