This research focuses on the process of curriculum development at Islamic Leadership School (ILS) in Taruna Panatagama Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the concept and implementation of ILS curriculum development and its implications for learning outcomes. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects were the founder, the Principal, the Caregiver, the teachers, the students and the alumni of the ILS Taruna Panatagama School. The data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed by using Spradley model, namely data analysis and data collection processes carried out simultaneously, consisting of analysis of conceptual domain information, taxonomic analysis (exploring important domains and subdomains by referring to library materials to obtain in-depth understanding), componential analysis (contrasting elements in the domains obtained and the subsequent relevant categorization), and theme analysis. The results of the study indicate that the curriculum with a homeschooling model has been built based on the potential development of each student. The basic concepts and ideas are applied based on Islamic teachings with a focus on leadership competencies by building awareness of Islamic personality and developing leadership. The implications for student learning outcomes are the changes in attitudes and behavior of students and achievements.

Until now, the Muslim community in Indonesia is flooded with massive information about the discourse of the obligation to establish a caliphate. Some argue that establishing a caliphate is an obligation for all Muslims. This article discusses the caliphate discourse in the study of fiqh al-siyasa in the classical era and the contemporary era. The discourse on the caliphate in the contemporary era has warmed up after the collapse of the Ottoman Turks in 1924, the debate on theme of the caliphate in the contemporary era is about whether there is a standard form of government and Islam, the legal status of establishing a caliphate, and so on. This theme is different from the themes of the discussion of the caliphate in the classical era, in this era, themes the caliphate revolved around aspects of Islamic leadership values, such as procedures for choosing a caliph/leader, political ethics that must be held by leaders and other state officials.

This chapter explores the politics of social status hierarchies in the Sahel (freeborn, “castes,” slaves) and the rich literature devoted to this theme. It looks specifically at two themes. First, the paradoxical relationship between Islam and social status stratification. The doctrinal equality of the believers before God has often been negated in practice, as “freeborn” lineages have taken over positions of Islamic leadership. But recently some religious movements (Islamism, Sufism, perhaps some jihadism as well) and social movements have challenged the hierarchy of status differences, some in words only, others in deeds as well. The second theme covers the relationship between the construction of colonial and postcolonial states and status hierarchies. Officially, in postcolonial states all citizens are equal under the law. But informally, little is done to counter practices that perpetuate status discrimination such as slavery. Also, electoral politics can both crystalize social status differences and trigger mobilization against status inequalities.

This amount is calculated by non-probability sampling and judgmental sampling techniques based on the researcher's considerations. The sample was decided to be used due to existing uncertain population, and the collection of questionnaires using Google forms. All variables are valid and reliable; data analysis using path analysis technique with Smart PLS 3.0 software found a direct and indirect effect of Islamic social entrepreneurship variable on SME business performance. This analysis also shows that Islamic leadership and emotional intelligence have a significant impact on business performance.

Abstract Purpose: The increase in issues among high school students tends to form their character (unproductively) negatively, and a lack of understanding of religion and leadership is suspected to be contributing. In response to this phenomenon, this program aimed to deliver a leadership development program based on Islamic values to the management of LPP UMI Makassar’s OSIS board. Research Methodology: This internal community service method combines lecture, discussion, and evaluation approaches to achieve the best results. The evaluation technique is collected through questionnaires covering elements pertaining to Islamic leadership based on Nabi Muhammad SAW. This questionnaire was then issued to ascertain their level of comprehension of the material presented. This program attracted 27 students, representing 81.8 percent of the total student council board of SMA LPP UMI, Makassar. Results: The program’s findings indicated that participants better understood the concepts and attributes of leadership in the Islamic paradigm. In addition, the results also showed that the dimension of Sidiq’s character (honesty) has the highest average score (4.48), meaning that the students of LPP UMI Makassar consider honesty as the most important thing that leaders must have in the concept of Islam. Conclusion: This outcome is designed to instill an Islamic leadership attitude in SMA UMI’s student council students, enabling them to contribute positively to Indonesia in the future.

The current condition of the Indonesian economy is far different from that of the economy ten years ago. One of the differences in the structure and construction of the Indonesian economy compared to 10 years ago is the rapid development of the digital economy and the 4.0 industrial revolution. This study examines the relationship between Islamic Leadership and SME Performance with the Mediation of Innovation Work Behavior and Financial Technology in the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community. This type of research uses an explanatory research method. All members of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community, with a sample of 100 entrepreneurs, were among the population in this report. The research method used is the Smart-PLS method. The findings of this study demonstrate that through the mediation of innovative work behavior, Islamic leadership impacts SME performance. So it is hoped that Muslim entrepreneurs can improve this innovative behavior with broader insights and an open attitude to change. It is expected that further research will expand the discussion by adding other variables that have not been studied in this study and also bring up research novelty.

Introduction/Main Objectives: This research examined the synergy of transformational and servant leadership character, which was suitable for Islamic boarding schools' perspective as an Islamic typology. Background Problems: The study of transformational and servant leadership has only focused on the business sector from a western perspective, which tends to be productivity-oriented. Meanwhile, the spirit of the two leadership characters is on morals and human, which have never been reviewed in empirical studies, especially in the perspective of Islam and in the context of Islamic boarding schools. Novelty: The synergy of transformational and servant leadership formed a new model which was inclusive perspective leadership of Islamic boarding school. Research Methods: This research used single case study approach with an exploratory descriptive design. Data collection was done by in-depth interviews with several informants who were selected purposively and through snowball sampling. The data were analyzed by using interactive models. Finding/Results: The results showed that the conformity of transformational and servant leadership could be implemented in the leadership in Islamic boarding schools. The leader of the Islamic boarding school can be a transformational leader as well as a serving leader. Islamic boarding school as an organization has a mission of change in the context of transformational leadership with modes of serving in the context of servant leadership. The synergy of these characters could potentially be an inclusive leadership model. Conclusion: The two models of leadership must be used simultaneously in leadership in Islamic boarding schools. The resulting combination will manifest the message of the mercy of Islamic leadership.

The Minangkabau community has a long history of Islamic culture. This historical fact is assisted by the Minangkabau natural Tambo which contains philosophy, goals, ideals, normativity, regulations, and proverbs that presuppose consensus as to the goals of society. The purpose of this study, using the perspective of Jurgen Habermas, which is based on the theory of communicative action, the researcher is helped in studying the forms of deliberation from the democratic system of the Minangkabau natural society. Qualitative research is the research method used. The critical paradigm is the chosen solution. In this study, which is combined with the concepts of shari'a associated with communication theory, Habermas’ critical hermeneutic theory will be used. The results of this study show the discursive decision-making process in the Nagari, which is then questioned with the lareh dualism that gave birth to the Tuah sakato democracy. Then from a long study related to how the deliberation process in the Minang realm has the potential to be epistemic in the post-secular era, the researchers also found that the IKM regional organizations as developers of these potentials were outside the realm and had an impact on the Minang realm itself. The results of this study can trigger further researchers to participate in cultural studies and human resources related to the importance of epistemic attitudes in the post-secular era.
