Kurikulum di Indonesia dinilai terlalu kompleks dibandingkan dengan kurikulum yang ada di beberapa negara maju sehingga beban siswa dalam belajar semakin berat. Atas dasar inilah diperlukan KTSP, kurikulum operasional yang dikembangkan dan dilaksankan oleh sekolah. SMP Negeri 4 Ambon merupakan sekolah yang mengembangkan kurikulum sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan sekolah. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah, apa saja kendala dalam pelaksanaan KTSP di SMP Negeri 4 Ambon, bagaimana upaya guru dalam menyelesaikan masalah dalam pelaksanaan KTSP, dan bagaimana upaya guru dalam menyumbangkan pikirannya dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran musik. Penelitian ini juga dilandasi dengan beberapa teori-teori terdahulu yang telah meneliti efesiensi pembelajaran musik. Proses penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) yang diperoleh dari wawancara terbuka dan diskusi terpadu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, kendala yang ditemui dalam penerapan KTSP pada pembelajaran seni musik antara lain, kendala siswa dalam mengaransir lagu, guru masih menggunakan ruangan kelas umum pada saat praktek, alat musik yang digunakan belum memadai, alokasi waktu yang masih kurang dan kurangnya tenaga guru. Dalam penerapan KTSP guru berusaha mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut dengan menyumbangkan pemikirannya melalui solusi-solusi yang diterapkannya, antara lain dengan memudahkan anak mengaransir lagu, melalui lagu sederhana yang diaransirnya dan memanfaatkan waktu diluar jam sekolah untuk menyelesaikan materi yang tertunda.The curriculum in Indonesia is considered too complex compared to other countries so that students in learning is getting harder. On this basis KTSP is needed, an operational curriculum developed and implemented by the school. SMP Negeri 4 Ambon is a school that develops a curriculum in accordance with the characteristics and needs of the school. The problems to be discussed in this study are, what are the obstacles in the implementation of KTSP in SMP Negeri 4 Ambon, how are the efforts of the teacher in solving problems in the implementation of KTSP, and how the teacher attempts to contribute his thoughts in the implementation of music learning. This research is also based on several previous theories that have examined the efficiency of music learning. The process of this research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach and FGD (Focus Group Discussion) obtained from open interviews and integrated discussions. The results showed that the obstacles encountered in the application of KTSP in the learning of musical arts included the constraints of students in arranging songs, teachers still using public classrooms at the time of practice, inadequate musical instruments, lack of time allocation and lack of teachers. In applying the KTSP the teacher tries to overcome these obstacles by contributing his thoughts through the solutions he applies, among others by making it easier for children to organize songs, through simple songs arranged and utilizing time outside of school hours to complete the delayed material.

The process of discussion and arrangement of regulation is not only carried out by legislative and government but also involves the community. The involvement of the community is crucial because the regulation formulated is not only for local government interest and DPRD (Regional Representative Council), but also for the community. This research aims to discover and analyze how legislative members interpret community aspiration in the arrangement of regulation, particularly, regulation on regional retribution. The legislative members are active and creative individuals, having their world, and different from other individuals outside the legislative members. Therefore, qualitative research method with case study approach is considered relevant to reveal the phenomenon. The object of the research comprises the legislative members determined purposively. The data were collected through participation observation, interview, documentation study, and focus group discussion. The results of research show that the community aspirations often face the interest of political party of the legislative members. The legislative members should be able to harmonize these two different interests. The conclusion can be drawn that the legislative members interpret the community aspiration differently (in the meaning) and based on their political behaviors.

The pandemic has changed people's habits or people's behavior in non-cash transactions using digital wallets or e-wallets to reduce the risk of being infected with the coronavirus, one of which is by using QRIS. However, we have not often encountered the use of digital payment technology through QRIS in tourism locations. One of them is the South Square of Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research using the Focus group discussion method. In this study, the number of participants in this FGD was ten people from the team, ISEI, and tourism industry players in Alun-Alun Kidul Yogyakarta. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the first conclusion is that the use of QRIS in Alun-Alun Kidul Yogyakarta is still minimal, even though 80% have received the code, but only 30% have activated it, and who use it no more than 2%. Some several obstacles and challenges cause this, including the low number of visitors, regulations that are not required, and the mindset of traders who still use traditional financial management systems. The alternative solution offered is QRIS activation for tourism industry players who have not yet performed and provided mobile services from BPD.

<em>This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, implementation of learning, obstacles encountered, and efforts made to overcome obstacles in accordance with the Curriculum 2013, especially on learning to write biographical text in SMP Negeri 4 Karanganyar. The description of such planning, implementation, constraints and efforts to find out their compliance with the Curriculum 2013. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using case study approach with single strategy terpancang. The results of this study are: (1) Learning planning in the form of RPP in accordance with the Curriculum 2013, but there is discrepancy in the three RPP that is the time allocation in the core activities is not written in detail at each activity steps. (2) Implementation of biography text writing lesson in accordance with RPP but there is non-conformity to time allocation. Assessment done by teacher when the process of learning and writing practice. (3) Constraints faced by teachers: inadequate learning resources, lack of interest and poor readiness of students in biographical texts, and students have not fully adapted to the 2013 curriculum. Teachers 'efforts: seek additional references from other sources, enthusiastic students' enthusiasm with games , giving the lecture method to the students. Constraints faced by students: the difficulty of defining themes and structures in biographical texts. Efforts by students: searching from other sources and asking the teacher.</em>

Bureaucracy reformation requires government institution to implement the principle of transparency in many areas of life. This research aims to explore the application of communication transparency within the government bureaucracy. The method used is a qualitative with case study approach. Techniques of data collection uses the focus group discussions and participant observation that conducted for two years. The results of research appoints that the transparency of communication within the government bureaucracy still experiences challenges in aspects of performance transparency, budgets transparency and public communications policy.Keywords: Communication Transparency, Government Bureaucracy, Case Study ABSTRAKReformasi birokrasi menuntut setiap instansi pemerintah melaksanakan prinsip transparansi di berbagai bidang kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan transparansi komunikasi di lingkungan birokrasi pemerintahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik focus group discussion dan observasi partisipan yang dilakukan selama dua tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transparansi komunikasi dalam lingkungan birokrasi pemerintahan masih mengalami tantangan pada aspek kinerja, anggaran dan kebijakan komunikasi publik.Kata kunci: Transparansi Komunikasi, Birokrasi Pemerintahan, Studi Kasus

This qualitative inquiry is aimed at analysing demotivation factors of teachers in Indonesian Pesantrens (Islamic Boarding School) in implementing EFL teaching. The research is appropriately undertaken as a qualitative research with a case study approach. The research sites for this study are two Pesantrens in Jambi, one of Indonesian Provinces. Eight English teachers were involved as the participants to providebroader perspectives of the participants in relation to the EFL teaching. The researcher use three kinds of instruments in collecting the data; interview, focus group discussion, and document review. The researcher conducted the observation, interviewed the teachers, held focus group discussion, and collected related documents to support the data.To assess the trustworthiness of the research, the researcher did triangulation, member checking and reflexivity. The findings describe working condition (financial matter and working overload); curriculum (rapid changing of Indonesian curriculum and lack of teaching and supporting materials); facilities (classroom temperature and over-crowded classroom); students (lack of basic knowledge and lack of motivation).

The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of Islamic Religious Education Teachers' exemplary approach to developing students' emotional, spiritual quotients. This article employs a qualitative research methodology in conjunction with a case study approach. The approach taken is consistent with the formulation of the problem under investigation. Informants were chosen based on the research's objectives. Formal and informal interviews were conducted. The findings of this study demonstrate two aspects of the emotional approach in Islamic education: Methods of persuasion and education. Teachers develop spiritual, emotional intelligence by providing students with new knowledge that includes exemplary figures dating all the way back to the Prophet Muhammad's time and exemplary national figures, as well as by inviting students to practice family strategies for recognizing and managing their own emotions, the ability to motivate themselves, the ability to recognize the emotions of others, and how to build relationships with others.

<p>Mosque Welfare Agency (BKM) Semarang and Pekalongan Muslim Foundation (YKMP) is a nāẓir of productive waqf land. Management of waqf performed by BKM Semarang has not given the expected results, while the management of waqf by YMKP has given results as planned. The main question in this research is what are the factors of success and failures of both institutions in managing of productive land waqf? The answers are measured using two parameters: 1) The investment strategy by BKM Semarang and YMKP; 2) The organization's management of nāẓir of YMKP and BKM? This is a qualitative research with case study approach. Data is collected using observation, interview, and documentation. The methode of analysis is the comparative descriptive. The findings of this research are: 1) Investment of land waqf performed by BKM Semarang unproductive, while investment and distribution of land waqf performed by YMKP productive. 2) The organization's management of BKM in each function is not effective. While the organization's management of YMKP is effective.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong></strong>Badan Kesejahteraan Masjid (BKM) Kota Semarang dan Yayasan Muslimin Kota Pekalongan (YKMP) adalah nazhir badan hukum yang mengelola tanah wakaf secara produktif. Pengelolaan wakaf yang dilakukan oleh BKM Kota Semarang belum<br />memberikan hasil seperti yang diharapkan, sedangkan pengelolaan wakaf oleh YMKP telah memberikan hasil seperti yang direncanakan. Pertanyaan utama dalam penelitian<br />ini adalah apa faktor keberhasilan dan ketidakberhasilan dari kedua lembaga tersebut dalam mengelola wakaf tanah produktif? Jawaban pertanyaan di atas diukur menggunakan<br />dua parameter: 1) Strategi investasi BKM Kota Semarang dan YKMP; 2) Manajemen organisasi kenazhiran BKM Kota Semarang dan YKMP. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan<br />teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif komparatif. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Investasi tanah wakaf yang dilakukan oleh BKM Kota Semarang tidak produktif sedangkan Investasi dan pendistribusian hasil yang dilakukan oleh YMKP produktif. 2) Manajemen organisasi BKM Kota Semarang pada tiap-tiap fungsinya tidak berjalan efektif. Sedangkan manajemen organisasi YMKP telah berjalan cukup efektif.</p>

ABSTRAKSI: Sebagai LPTK (Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan), UPI (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) perlu melakukan suatu kajian untuk merancang sistem pengelolaan keuangan perguruan tinggi berbasis aktivitas dengan metode ABC (Activity-Based Costing), yang diharapkan akan dapat mengukur secara lebih rinci aktivitas-aktivitas utama dan pendukung dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh Fakultas yang ada di lingkungan UPI menyatakan kesiapan untuk menerapkan sistem ABC. Berdasarkan FGD (Focus Group Discussion), terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi untuk menerapkan sistem ABC di UPI di Bandung, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Secara keseluruhan diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem ABC dapat diterapkan di UPI selama ada niat dan kerjasama yang baik dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan pimpinan Universitas.KATA KUNCI: Biaya Pendidikan Berbasis Kegiatan; Uang Kuliah Tunggal; Mutu Pendidikan; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia; Niat dan Kerjasama yang Baik. ABSTRACT: “The Implementation of Activity-Based Costing to Improve the Quality of Education in Higher Education Institutions: A Case Study of Indonesia University of Education”. As an institute of teacher training and education, UPI (Indonesia University of Education) needs to conduct a study on designing college financial management systems based on activity through the method of ABC (Activity-Based Costing), that is expected to be able to measure in more detail the main and supporting activities in the implementation of education. The results show that all Faculties at UPI declare their readiness to implement the ABC system. Based on the FGD (Focus Group Discussion), there are several problems in implementing ABC system at UPI in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Pesantren Al Mukmin Ngruki Sukoharjo is often cited as an inspiration for radical Islam in Indonesia. This research examines the reproduction of religious understanding and the response to allegations of radicalism addressed to Pesantren Ngruki after the Bali bombings of 2002. This study includes qualitative research with case study approach. This study argues that a radical view of Islam can not be separated from social and historical context of this Islamic boarding institutions. Currently Pesantren Ngruki has undergone some changes in the orientation of education resulting from multiple causes, which are not limited by the case of Bali bombings only.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the importance of quality in university governance in Indonesia. The researcher designed this study with an approach of qualitative research approach with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method. Participants come from 25 universities throughout Indonesia. Participants are leaders of higher education ranging from the head of the study program to the rector. The result of the focus group discussion shows that the quality of higher education will decrease if there is the scarcity of qualified lecturers. Declining quality of higher education will affect the number of students. Finally, if the student decline happens continuously, then higher education can close. So quality is a top priority in university governance.
