This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to get a real description of the results of the science process skills of class XI students on the excretory system material using the STAD learning model, knowing the process of science process skills of class XI IPA 3 students in the excretory system material before and after using the STAD learning model. and find out how much the increase in the results of the science process skills of class XI IPA 3 students on the excretory system material using the STAD model. The research subjects were students of class XI IPA 3 of SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat in the 2018/2019 school year, totaling 40 students, 29 girls and 11 boys. The research was carried out in two cycles, using a descriptive analytical model to determine the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning process, increasing science process skills on student learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the learning process using the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) cooperative learning model can increase students' test scores, can increase the number of students who reach the KKM. The highest percentage of student activity in cycle 1 was 20% while in cycle 2 there was an increase of 30%, most of which still had to be increased again. The value of the test results from the first cycle to the second cycle there was an increase. In the first cycle, the highest test result was 72.75, while in the second cycle, the score was 87. The test scores increased from the first cycle to the second cycle, both the average score and the number of students who reached the KKM. In the first cycle, an average of 77.5% of students whose test scores have reached the KKM, means that 22.5% have not reached the KKM. In the second cycle, students whose test scores have reached the KKM are 87.5%, and 12.5% ??have not reached the KKM. Based on this research, it was concluded that the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model in Biology subjects could improve the activity science process skills and test results of students in class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat even semester of 2019. ABSTRAKPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini, bertujuan untuk mendapatkan deskripsi nyata hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI pada materi sistem ekskresi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD, mengetahui proses keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI IPA 3 dalam materi sistem ekskresi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD dan mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI IPA 3 pada materi sistem ekskresi dengan menggunakan model STAD. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 40 siswa, 29 perempuan dan 11 laki-laki. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik model untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division), peningkatan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) dapat meningkatkan nilai tes peserta didik, dapat meningkatkan jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai KKM. Prosentase aktifitas siswa tertinggi pada siklus 1 sebesar 20% sedangkan pada siklus 2 ada peningkatan sebesar 30%, sebagian besar masih harus ditingkatkan lagi aktivitas nya. Nilai hasil tes dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua terdapat peningkatan. Pada siklus pertama diperoleh hasil tes tertinggi 72,75 sedangkan pada siklus kedua diperoleh nilai 87. Nilai tes mengalami kenaikan dari siklus pertama ke siklus ke dua, baik rata-rata nilai maupun jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai KKM. Pada siklus pertama rata-rata 77,5% peserta didik yang nilai hasil tesnya sudah mencapai KKM, berarti 22,5% belum mencapai KKM. Pada siklus kedua peserta didik yang nilai hasil tes sudah mencapai KKM adalah 87,5%, dan 12,5% belum mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) pada mata pelajaran Biologi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains aktivitas dan hasil tes peserta didik kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat semester genap tahun 2019.

This study aims to determine the students’ science process skills towards Salt Hydrolysis material in class XI IPA of SMA Katolik Talino Ambawang before and after being given the problem-posing learning model by using Ferris wheel hydrolysis and how much it improves the skills. It is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, of which the subjects are 12 students of XI IPA. The normality test used on the pretest and posttest results is the Shapiro-Wilk test, which results in a normal distribution, Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) greater than 0,05 with a significance pretest of 0,197 and postest of 0,547. The t-test results of the pairing sample indicate that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05, which is 0,000 < 0.05. It was concluded that there is a difference between the students’ science process before and after the treatment. The mean scores of the students’ skills before and after the treatment are respectively 45,69% and 82,36%, with a high category. The value of 0,68 from the N-Gain calculation showed that the problem-posing learning model using Ferris wheel hydrolysis on Salt Hydrolysis material improved the students’ skills with the medium category.

This research is motivated by the learning process carried out in class V of SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur, SD Negeri 1 Metro Barat, SD Negeri 1 Metro Utara dan SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. The implementation of the learning process carried out by teachers who generally still use conventional learning methods and models that are only fixated on books and more teacher-centered, students listen to explanations from the teacher, take notes, memorize information and work on problems. practice questions rather than doing practical activities through experiments or experiments. As a result, the learning process becomes less attractive and seems monotonous because students tend to be passive and less participatory in learning activities. Teachers lack innovation in the use of active and innovative methods or learning models that are more student centered. That is, learning that provides more opportunities for students to construct independently the process of understanding material through a more active learning process through search activities and problem solving. In response to this, researchers conduct learning using a project based learning learning model with the aim of improving students' science process skills and scientific literacy skills. The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of the PjBL model on process skills and scientific literacy skills. The type of this study is quasi-experimental research using the design of nonequivalent groups pre test-post test from Fraenkel and Wallen. The design of nonequivalent groups pre test - post test was started by setting the experimental group and the control group, then doing the pre test, followed by giving treatment to the two classes and ending with a post test. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Metro City. Data collection techniques in the form of tests. The research instrument is a spatial literacy test sheet. Data were analyzed using normality test and Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that the PjBL model can improve science process skills and higher scientific literacy skills compared to groups of students who get conventional learning. The aim of the study is to increase students' interest and skills using the Group Assignment learning method through micro-scale practicums in Science courses. The study was conducted on Chemistry study subjects. The research subjects were 209 students of Elementary Teacher Education, Pakuan University . During the learning process, observations about student cooperation during the practicum were carried out. The results of observations of each cycle are evaluated as reflection material in the next cycle to improve students' skills and interests in accordance with the set targets. Data analysis was performed descriptively quantitative. Science practicum material is material in the Chemistry Study course on a micro scale. From the results of the T-test, there are significant differences. This means that the understanding of concepts and Science Process Skills increases after prospective teacher students experience the learning process of group assignments on Chemistry Study material on a micro scale. The results of understanding concepts, the average value increased from 62.42 to 86.68 and the science process skills increased the average value from 56.19 to 87.86. 94% students responded positively, namely agreed and strongly agreed that the process of science lectures with group assignments and micro-scale practicum. This can improve science process skills and understanding of materials in science courses at PGSD students.

The main problem in this study is whether there are differences in the science process skills of students after the guided inquiry learning model is applied. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in science process skills of students after applying the guided inquiry learning mode. This type of research is pre-experimental and One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 4 Binongko in the academic year 2019/2020, amounting to 30 students consisting of one class, so that the population mentioned above as well as research samples. The research instrument used was a science process skills test. The results of descriptive analysis on the pretest obtained an average score of 8.84 scientific process skills baseline while in the posttest obtained an average score of science process skills of 16.35 with a normalized gain index of 0.47 which included the medium category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that learning using the guided incutri learning model provides a better influence in improving students' science process skills. As for suggestions so that the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model implemented optimally it is necessary to manage time appropriately so that the learning objectives can be achieved.Keywords: Guided Inquiry Learning Model, Science process skills.Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Binongko tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik terdiri dari satu kelas, sehingga populasi tersebut di atas sekaligus sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes keterampilan proses sains. Hasil analisi deskriptif pada pretest diperoleh skor rata-rata keterampilan proses sains sebasar 8,83 sedangkan pada posttest diperoleh skor rata-rata keterampilan proses sains sebesar 16,35 dengan indeks gain ternormalisasisebesar 0,47 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Adapun saran agar penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terlaksana dengan optimal perlu melakukan pengelolaan waktu secara tepat sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing, Keterampilan proses sains

This study aims to improve the physics Science Process Skills Students on cognitive and psychomotor aspects by using model based Project Based Learning training.The object of this study is the Project Based Learning model used in the learning process of Computationa Physics.The method used is classroom action research through two learning cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This study aims to determine (1) science process skills students in class XI IPA 3 Pamboang 1 Public High School before being taught using a guided discovery learning model (2) science process skills students in class XI IPA 3 Pamboang 1 Public High School after being taught using a guided discovery learning model(3) science process skills students in class XI IPA 3 Pamboang 1 Public High School before and after being taught using a guided discovery learning model. This type of research is pre-experimental research with design The One group pretest – posttest design which involves independent variable namely the learning model guided discovery and the dependent variable is science process skills. The subjects of the study population were students of class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang in the school year 2018/2019 which consists of 3 classes with selected samples random sampling (random class) so that it is obtained in class XI IPA 3. The results showed that the pretest of students obtained an average score of science process skills of 15.65. With a standard deviation of 4.95. While the posttest obtained an average score of 20.90 with a standard deviation of 4.62 and the average score of the normalized gain test is 0.36. Subyek populasi penelitian  adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 3 kelas dengan sampel di pilih secara random sampling (kelas acak) sehingga diperoleh kelas XI IPA 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada pretest peserta didik memperoleh skor rata-rata keterampilan proses sains sebesar 15,65. Dengan standar deviasi sebesar 4,95. Sedangkan pada posttest diperoleh skor rata-rata  sebesar 20,90 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 4,62 dan skor rata-rata uji gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,36. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains peserta didik meningkat dalam kategori sedang setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Terbimbing.Kata kunci: Peserta Didik, Discovery Terbimbing, Keterampilan Proses Sains

Learning process in SMPN 5 Jambi is still dominated by the behavior paradigm with low learning outcomes.This study aims to reveal the significance of the student-centered learning, using quasi-experimental design. Weemployed research instrument of science process skills test results and creativity questionnaire. The collecteddata were analyzed using ANOVA and Tuckey test. The results, there was no significant of the effect of theinvestigation group model and creativity on science process skills (p = 0.083). The results also indicate theinteraction between group investigation model and science process skills (p = 0.03). The teacher applies thegroup investigation model for high creativity students.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to know how to increase understanding mathematical concepts in the order to determine whether the aplication of cooperative learning model Students Teams Achievment Divisons in class VIII Catholic Secondary School Trisakti II Medan TA 2014/2015. The type of research was a Classroom Action Research. Subjects in this study were 35 students of class VIII-A Catholic Secondary School Trisakti II Medan and the object of this study was an effort to improved students' understanding of mathematical concepts with learning model Students Teams Achievment Divisions. The instruments used in the study was the observation and tests.In granting cycle I obtained that category Students Teams Achievment Divisions  model on function the material. To know the students ability to understand the concept of the given initial test and obtained an average score of 1.96 or students in the low category and only 22,85% to reach understanding the concept of the medium category. After given action on first cycle then given a test of understanding the concept. Of the test results obtained by the average score of students 2.45 or lower category as well as students who have graseped the concept of 19 students (54,28%). Because the percentage of achievment of understanding of the concept has not been reached the administration continue to cycle the action two. After a given action in cycle two of the obtained results of the test by a average score of students 2.95 or in the medium category. From first cycle to second cycle obtained an increase of 10 students a score increased by 0.5. Based on the description above description concluded that increasing students understading of mathematical concepts with cooperative learning model Students Teams Achievment Divisions on the material function in class VIII A Catholic Secondary School Trisakti II Medan TA 2014/2015.  Keywords: Cooperative Learning- Students Teams Achievment Divisions , Learning, Secondary.

Science process skills are skills that need to be developed in students in learning science such as science. The low level of KPS on the science concept is influenced by the learning model which emphasizes the aspects of receiving full information from the teacher. Student KPS is also dominated by an increase in scientific attitudes that require students to show their sensitivity to the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine science process skills and increase students' scientific attitudes through the implementation of the contextual teaching and learning model at MTsS Muta'allimin Aceh Besar. The method used in this study was an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used were observation sheets and questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of the CTL learning model could improve students' KPS in both categories with an average score of 71-85 and very good categories with an average score of 86. In addition to improving the KPS learning model implementation, CTL can also improve students' scientific attitudes with a value N-gain average of 0.63 including the moderate category. The results of the improvement obtained by the average student are in good categories with an average score of 71-85 then the category is very good with an average score.  86-100. The conclusion in this study proves that the CTL model can improve student learning skills and scientific attitudes, especially the material of vibration, waves, and sound

<em>This study aims to improve understanding of vocabulary and their meanings by applying modeling techniques to grade II students in elementary schools. This study was designed in two cycles, with the research subjects of grade II students of SD N 3 Getas in Kaloran District, Temangggung Regency with a total number of students. 19 students. The research design used was the Classroom Action Research (PTK) spiral model from Kemmis and Taggart which included four stages of research, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Students' understanding of the meaning of vocabulary has increased each cycle. Increased understanding of the meaning of students' vocabulary can be seen from the average of the first cycle only 36.8%. While in cycle II the average score increased by 84.21. It was concluded that using the Make a Match type learning model which was carried out in accordance with the learning steps included preparing question and answer cards, dividing students and cards into two parts, mixing the cards. randomly, dividing cards and explaining the learning process, presenting the results of matching cards, making learning conclusions, providing evaluation and closing the learning process in Indonesian subjects can improve learning outcomes for grade 2 students at SD N 3 Getas, Kaloran District, Temanggung Regency</em>
