This research was aimed to determine the readability of Biology School Electronic Book (BSE) for 10th grade. The research was conducted in MAN 13 Jakarta. The method of this research was descriptive. Population of this research were all biology BSE of 10th  SMA/MA and all student of 10th MA in South Jakarta. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. Book sample found only one title of biology BSE class X SMA/MA which is used in MA of South Jakarta. The researched texts were texts which had been studied in 1st to 5th chapter. One chapter was represented by one text, so it was gotten five texts. Student samples were taken by MA which used biology BSE that was MAN 13 Jakarta. The measurements of readability used cloze test propositions and formula of fry graph. The results of analysis showed that readability biology BSE based cloze test proposition were all of the texts included to high level. And the results of readability based on the fry graph showed that one text was appropriate for class 10th SMA/MA, the two texts were too easy and two texts were too difficult for class 10th SMA/MA. This research showed the quality of textbooks in terms of readability, in order to be consideration for teachers and students in selecting high quality textbooks. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterbacaan Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE) pelajaran Biologi Kelas X. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN 13 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh BSE Biologi kelas X SMA/MA serta seluruh siswa kelas X MA di Jakarta Selatan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Sampel buku hanya ditemukan satu BSE Biologi kelas X SMA/MA yang digunakan di MA Jakarta Selatan. Teks yang diteliti adalah teks yang telah dipelajari pada materi bab 1 sampai bab 5. Satu bab diwakili oleh satu teks, sehingga didapat lima teks yang diteliti. Sampel siswa diambil berdasarkan MA yang menggunakan BSE Biologi yaitu MAN 13 Jakarta. Pengukuran keterbacaan dilakukan menggunakan tes rumpang proposisi dan grafik fry. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keterbacaan BSE Biologi berdasarkan tes rumpang proposisi adalah seluruh  teks termasuk kategori tinggi. Serta hasil keterbacaan berdasarkan grafik fry adalah satu teks termasuk cocok untuk kelas X SMA/MA, dua teks terlalu mudah dan dua teks terlalu sulit untuk kelas X SMA/MA. Penelitian ini menunjukkan kualitas buku teks dari segi keterbacaan, agar menjadi pertimbangan bagi guru dan siswa dalam memilih buku teks pelajaran yang berkualitas baik.

Abstract BackgroundManagement of primary aldosteronism (PA) has become a research hotspot in the field of endocrinology. To obtain reliable research evidence, it is necessary to establish a high-quality PA research database. MethodsThe establishment of PA research database involved two steps. Firstly, patients with confirmation of PA diagnosis between 1 Jan 2009 to 31 Aug 2019 at West China Hospital were identified and data were extracted. Secondly, patients with confirmatory testing for PA will be enrolled into a prospective cohort. Data will be prospectively collected based on the case report forms since 1 Sep 2019. We evaluated the quality of research database through assessment of quality of key variables.ResultsTotally, 862 patients diagnosed as PA were identified, of which 507 patients who had positive confirmatory testing for PA were included into the retrospective database. Among 862 patients diagnosed as PA, the mean systolic blood pressure (SBP) was 156.1 mmHg, mean diastolic blood pressure (DBP) was 97.2 mmHg. Among included patients, the mean serum potassium level was 2.85 mmol/L, and the mean plasma aldosterone concentration (PAC) was 28.1 ng/dL. The characteristics patients with positive confirmatory testing for PA were similar. Validation of data extracting and linking showed the accuracy were 100%. Evaluation of missing data showed that the completeness of BMI (95.9%), SBP (99.4%) and DBP (99.4%) were high. ConclusionThrough integrating retrospective and prospective cohort of PA, a research database of PA with high quality and comprehensive data can be established. We anticipate that the research database will provide a high level of feasibility for management of PA in China.

AbstractModern livestock facilities necessary in the production of milk, meat or other animal products should be constructed with environmental protection in mind, while ensuring high quality of production and animal welfare. The high level of mechanization in modern dairy farms, including automated and robotic processes, allows obtaining high quality raw material (e.g. milk), and significantly increasing labor and production efficiency. In addition, the use of photovoltaic (PV) panels, heat recovery from milk and obtaining biogas from the manure fermentation process, contributes to large energy savings on the farm. Excess of natural fertilizers, which are an animal byproduct, can be used as a substrate for methane fermentation. The presented examples of obtaining renewable energy allow improving the economic efficiency of animal production. They also ensure appropriate environmental conditions through the innovative management of natural fertilizers.

The paper presents a brief history of the EuroPsy initiative which began in 1998 and is now in the process of implementation across European countries in the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA). EuroPsy defines a standard of professional education that aims to promote a high quality of education and professional practice for psychologists. The initiative was substantially supported by developments within the European Union (EU) and more widely in Europe, in particular the so-called Bologna process. This process, however, had a major political focus with an explicit commitment to facilitate mobility. Concerns for quality and a high level of professional education and an implied focus on consumer or client protection may not always sit easily with a commitment to facilitating professional mobility. This paper presents some of the challenges and potential tensions inherent in the EuroPsy.

The Smart City concept includes a fairly wide range of characteristics of this new phenomenon for modern society. The main goal of creating smart cities is the comfortable living in them of people with a high level of well-being. The quality of living conditions for people in smart cities directly depends on how clean their natural environment is. The article examines the features of the development of the ecological vector of creating cities with maximum amenities for residents. Possible risks associated with negligence towards objects of animate and inanimate nature are listed, ways of high-quality environmental protection of cities of the future are outlined.

According to international longitudinal studies, the quality of preschool education is of great importance for children’s further development. The modern research’s greatest interest in the field of studying the quality of preschool education is precisely the assessment of the relationship between the teacher and children as well as the teaching quality in kindergarten groups. In this regard, the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) seems to be the one of the most relevant for the educational environment quality evaluation. The CLASS methodology (which includes emotional support, classroom organization, and instrumental support) is based on the cultural-historical approach, which shows the interaction between students and adults as the main mechanism for child’s development. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships between different aspects of the classroom organization quality in kindergarten groups and executive functions components (such as cognitive flexibility, inhibitory control, and working memory) in 5–6-year-old children. The quality of classroom interaction was measured by the CLASS. The study used the Dimensional Change Card Sort (DCCS) method to assess cognitive flexibility and the NEPSY-II subtests “Inhibition” to assess inhibitory control and “Memory for Designs” and “Sentences Repetition” to assess visuo-spatial and verbal working memory, respectively. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Psychology at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The study involved 26 kindergarten groups in Moscow. While conducting the research, extreme groups were identified (5 with low quality and 10 with high-quality levels of classroom interaction). Then, three kindergarten groups with low level (65 children) and three groups with high level (68 children) of interaction within classroom were selected and compared. The results revealed that children from groups with low level of classroom interaction have higher results in cognitive flexibility tasks when compared with children from groups with high level of interaction. Also, children from groups with high-quality classroom interaction demonstrated higher results in visuo-spatial working memory tasks and inhibitory control tasks as contrasted with children from low-quality groups. These findings attest to the importance of classroom interaction quality for the executive functions development in the preschool age.

Patient safety heavily relies on doctors performing to the best of their abilities, delivering high quality of patientcare. However, changing market forces and increasing bureaucracy challenge physicians in their performance. Despite the dynamic conditions they experience, the majority performs on a high level. What exactly drives these doctors? Answering this question will shed light on how to best support doctors to be the engaged healthcare professionals that society wants and needs them to be. So patients are ensured safe and high quality of care. This chapter dips deeper into what primarily drives doctors, thus we turned to doctors themselves for answers. Being interested in their perceptions, feelings, behaviour, relations to, and interactions with, each other, this chapter relies heavily on qualitative research involving around 1000 hospital-based physicians. Conclusively, doctors can only truly blossom in an environment that stimulates their calling and that breathes a comradeship mindset, where sharing is about caring and peer-support is felt. It’s alarming that these essential humanistic and relational values are supressed by today’s more business-like climate in healthcare. Curtailing what primarily inspires doctors will eventually lead to doctors no longer having the time, energy and motivation to deliver the best possible patientcare. To restore the balance, we provide recommendations on the individual-, group-, and organizational level.

The education of gifted students is one of the areas of differentiated education, the main goal of which is to study people with special/particular abilities. The problem of talent is now becoming more and more relevant. This is primarily due to the need of society to develop creative personalities. The uncertainty of the modern environment requires not only a high level of human activity, but also his skills and ability to behave in a non-standard way. It is obvious that the early identification, teaching and education of gifted students is one of the key challenges in improving the education system. However, insufficient psychological teachers’ preparation/readiness to work with children, who behave and think in a non-standard way, leads to inadequate assessment of their personal characteristics and all activities. In January-March 2021, a qualitative study was conducted, in which 10 teachers of general education schools participated. Data obtained through semi-structured interviews were analysed using the content analysis method. It has been found that the majority of teachers are able to describe gifted students, trust their competence to identify them. It has been revealed that certain differences exist between the schools analysed. Some schools systematically and qualitatively educate the gifted, while others lack common agreements on the education of the gifted, there is no system, support for teachers and students. Due to the different conditions, not all gifted students receive appropriate support, and the ongoing programmes accept a limited number of students, which creates a problem of access to the quality education of the gifted. Such situation may have arisen due to the lack of a clear state strategy for the education of gifted students, and educational guidelines for schools and teachers. It is obvious that in order to improve the quality of gifted students’ education, it is necessary to update educational documents, that regulate gifted students’ education and create a unified Lithuanian students’ education system based on positive examples of schools and many years of experience. The necessity of making changes in the educational process (EP) through the use of cloud, network technologies is considered. This training format allows you to apply new forms of training, communicate with teachers and students outside the classroom.An experiment has been carried out showing the advantages of cloud technologies in organizing lifelong learning of students. For the study, two groups of 1st year students were taken. One group learned through a conservative, classroom EP, the other through the cloud. The students of the second group turned out to be more interested in learning, according of the final testing, they showed a high quality of residual knowledge.The results of the study showed that the addition of cloud technologies to the educational process increases the student’s cognitive interest and allows him to be always and everywhere immersed in the EP. The modern student lives in the world of information technology and it is necessary for him to create a familiar atmosphere in education, to use the tools familiar to him. Learning should be more interactive. Then the student after graduation will become a real, knowledgeable specialist who will be able to apply the knowledge gained in his work. The disadvantages of cloud technologies have also been identified. The level of computer literacy of the majority of teachers will not allow them to use new solutions everywhere.

Rutabagas (Brassica napobrassica Mill.) harvested in October and November contained a high level of sugars, more than 51% of dry matter. Roots harvested in September contained less sugars than those harvested later. Sugar concentration increased as much as 10% of dry weight during storage. Rutabagas harvested when the sugar concentration of dry weight reached the maximum level were of good eating quality. The optimum harvest time to obtain high quality rutabagas varied from year to year depending on weather conditions.

The article aims to investigate the role and features of the content and test proposed indicators for evaluating its effectiveness within the marketing enterprise communications with the client using Internet technologies. The differences between traditional content communications and content communications using unifying content have been presented. Based on review of scientific works and statistic data and results of the studies, a system of indicators for evaluating the level of content supply cost-effectiveness is proposed: average cost of attracting one user of website, coefficient of lead generation of the Internet website, average cost of attracting one lead, content effectiveness ratio, average purchase in consequence of content supply, profit from the sale of goods in consequence of content supply, profitability of using the Internet marketing tools. This system of indicators allows monitoring of content effectiveness at key stages of enterprise-customer interaction. The proposed indicators of content effectiveness were tested on two leading enterprises in the field of water purification and water supply in Ukraine: “ZIKO Company” and “BWT Ukraine”. It was concluded that only a high quality of content supply could provide an enterprise with a high level of customer conversion and significant visibility of its website in different search engines.
