This material is a complex panorama, where the main object enters the problem of the intersection of intellectual mesoareals between modern man and representatives of the cyber community with the code name “Bairn-Bala Robots”. The philosophical significance of the phenomenon under consideration was condemned by the latest information and technotronic challenges that crossed the cognitive boundaries of young cyber providers, choosing new platforms of communication infrastructure as an alternative form of free technotronic education. One of the main issues of interpretation is to identify the causal relationship of the attitude of the children's society in the process of developing a project in order to decipher the anthropomorphic type of biomechanical humanoid, thanks to digital products and technology of the modern IT industry. A review of analytical processing of information collection on cyber sciences, automation of electronic computers, electronic control systems and informatization of educational infrastructures showed that the formation of adaptation of technotronic-informational consciousness and behavior of an individual during the last stages of social formation were generated in parallel with the laws of evolutionary development. Thus, the phenomena of the cyber environment were identified as a scientific collection of information, in the role of a robot-poser, which contributed to the emergence of a new ecosystem of educational-technotronic communication "Bairn-Bala Robots".

This study investigated the role of action control in the relationship between friend and parent exercise participation levels with adolescents’ exercise intention and behavior, based on the theory of planned behavior. Data were collected from 740 Korean adolescents through questionnaires that assessed the exercise participation level of these participants’ parents and friends, and the adolescent participants’ personal exercise intention, exercise behavior, action control, and exercise constraints. The results showed that the exercise participation level of friends, but not of parents, mediated the adolescents’ exercise behavior through their exercise intention. This relationship was magnified by higher levels of the adolescents’ action control.

This study investigated the relationship of sport participation to perceived competence. Perceived competence is considered to be an important determinant of achievement motivation and behavior. Male and female fourth and fifth graders (N = 143) were given Harter's (Note 1) Perceived Competence Scales and were interviewed to determine their involvement in organized sport activities. Further, the children were asked to give their perceptions of competence relative to teammates, general attributions about sport outcomes, and their persistence and expectancies of future success. The results revealed that participants in organized sports were higher in perceived competence, were more persistent, and had higher expectations of future success. The causal attributions of participant children were ability oriented and generally supported the perceived competence findings. The results are consistent with the statement that perceived competence in physical skills has an important influence on the participation and motivation of children in sport contexts.

In addition to COVID-19, stunting is another threat facing Indonesia. Although not as deadly as COVID-19, stunting requires immediate responses; otherwise it will burden our development agenda. Substantial evidences from application of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) accumulate significant relationship of health intentions to individuals’ behavior. Further extension of TPB that include other variables confirm the role of knowledge and risk perception in predicting health intentions and behavior. Similarly involve risk factors within public health area, risk communication of COVID-19 seems outperforms that of stunting. Using TPB’s perspective, this review of literature aims to analyze health promotion impacts of these health threats. Result indicates differences in risk communication strategy for COVID – indicated by emerging amateur health promoters – as to stunting. There is a need for intensive collaboration of Psychology and Communication studies in exploring communication strategies to help building health intentions toward performing risk-mitigating behaviors beyond COVID-19 and stunting alone.

PurposeThe purpose of this article is to examine the role of customer engagement (CE) on electronic word of mouth (eWOM) behavior among vacationers in Tanzania. The article disaggregates CE into cognitive process, affection and behavior and integrates eWOM passing into the eWOM concept.Design/methodology/approachA sample of 278 vacationers who had used social media before and/or during their trip in Tanzania was used. They were drawn at three major airports in Tanzania when exiting the destination. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the proposed relationships.FindingsIt is revealed that both the affective CE and behavioral CE positively relate to vacationers' eWOM seeking, giving and passing behaviors in tourism-related sites. On the other hand the cognitive CE relates positively only with eWOM passing behaviors.Research limitations/implicationsThe varied relationship of the three CE dimensions (cognitive, affective and behavioral) with eWOM behaviors further confirms the multi-dimensionality of CE and the enduring psychological connection of individuals beyond participation in activities.Practical implicationsCE is multifaceted and enduring and thus managers should take a long-term, enduring and multidimensional perspective in facilitating CE development. Different content appeals are needed in facilitating CE in online platforms as CE dimensions relate variedly with eWOM behaviorsOriginality/valueThe study links CE and eWOM in a novel way by disaggregating CE and integrating the eWOM passing component into the eWOM concept in tourism-related social media sites.

The name similarity effect is the tendency to like people, places, and things with names similar to our own. Although many researchers have examined name similarity effects on preferences and behavior, no research to date has examined whether individual differences exist in susceptibility to those effects. This research reports the results of two experiments that examine the role of self-monitoring in moderating name similarity effects. In the first experiment, name similarity effects on brand attitude and purchase intentions were found to be stronger for respondents high, rather than low, in self-monitoring. In the second experiment, the interactive effect observed in the first study was found to be especially true in a public (vs. private) usage context. These findings are consistent with theoretical expectations of name similarity effects as an expression of egotism manifested in the image and impression management concerns of high self-monitors.
