Abstract On the history of sentence-internal capitalisation in Dutch – a corpus-based study on genre influence on the capitalisation practice Though sentence-internal capitalisation of nouns is – unlike in German – no hallmark of Modern Dutch orthography at all, initial studies on Early Modern Dutch writing practice have affirmed Maas’ (1995, 2007) claim that Dutch once exhibited at least a moderate tendency to uppercase nouns in sentence-internal position (cf. & 2020a): Since both studies were restricted on a corpus of bible prints, it remains an open question whether the capitalisation practice was restricted to this text type only. Therefore, the present paper aims at analysing the use of majuscules in other texts types to gain a more conclusive picture on the overall phenomenon. The contrastive analysis of bible prints with printed travel reports and sailing letters (1500-1800) confirms – on the one hand – previous findings, mainly the fact that the use of majuscules within common nouns was increasingly motivated by cognitive factors, mainly animacy and concreteness of the referent; on the other hand, however, the present study shows that sentence-internal capitalisation of common nouns was much more pronounced in non-biblical texts than expected by previous studies (cf. & 2020a). In contrast to bible prints, non-biblical texts did not abolish sentence-internal uppercase letters by the end of the 17th century, suggesting that this spelling convention was not abandoned due to religious reasons as suggested by & 2007).

Abstract This paper takes a data-driven perspective on the grammaticalization of German light verb constructions (LVCs) with kommen ‘come’. LVCs are complex predicates consisting of a semantically light verb and an eventive noun realized within a phrasal complement, e.g. German zur Vollendung kommen, lit. ‘come into completion’. We assume that (at least) two different processes interact in the emergence of LVCs: the desemanticization of the verb on the one hand and the realization of eventive nouns in the complement-PP of the verb on the other. In order to check whether these processes take place in parallel or if one precedes the other, we conduct a corpus study based on samples from the Reference Corpus of Middle High German (REM) and the Bonn Early New High German Corpus (FnhdC), focusing on the animacy and concreteness of the subject NPs and the PP-internal nouns. Our results indicate that we can first observe an increase in the use of abstract nouns in subject position and that only later – from Middle High German to Early New High German – eventive nouns in PP-internal position become more frequent.

Рассматривается вопрос формирования социально-информационной компетентности учащихся (которые проходят обучение в средних специальных учебных заведениях – колледжах) педагогических специальностей при реализации компонентов медиаобразования. Дана характеристика социально-информационной компетентности, описаны способы использования компонентов медиаобразования в системе среднего специального образования. Представлены возможные пути формирования компетентности, названы основные направления работы. Дана характеристика педагогических условий, которые должны соблюдаться для формирования социально-информационной компетентности у учащихся в процессе реализации образовательного процесса. Выделены такие педагогические условия, как организационные: специфика организации образовательной среды и ее оснащение; внутренняя позиция и мотивы учащегося; учет содержания и вариативность учебно-программной документации. Названы основные направления модернизации образовательного процесса: корректировка учебных планов, введение модулей, направленных на формирование высокого уровня социально-информационной компетентности у учащихся педагогических специальностей. Охарактеризована роль преподавателя в формировании компетентности учащихся, описана деятельность школы профессионального мастерства для преподавателей. Раскрыты особенности проведения текущей аттестации с использованием стандартов WorldSkills. The article discusses the issue of the formation of social and informational competence of students (who are trained in secondary specialized educational institutions - colleges) of pedagogical specialties in the implementation of the components of media education. The characteristic of social and informational competence is given, methods of using the components of media education in the system of secondary specialized education are described. Possible ways of forming competence are presented, main directions of work are named. The article defines the components of the model for the formation of social and information competence. The characteristics of the pedagogical conditions that must be observed for the formation of social and informational competence in students in the process of implementing the educational process are given. Highlighted such pedagogical conditions as organizational - the specifics of the organization of the educational environment and its equipment; internal position and motives of the student; accounting for the content and variability of educational and program documentation. The main directions of modernization of the educational process are named: the adjustment of curricula, the introduction of modules aimed at the formation of a high level of social and informational competence among students of pedagogical specialties. The role of the teacher in the formation of the competence of students is characterized, the activities of the school of professional skills for teachers are described. The features of the current certification using WorldSkills standards are disclosed.

The relevance of the study is due to the need to increase the importance of educational work in a modern university and to search for effective forms of activity that contribute to the professional development of students – future entrepreneurs. The purpose of the study is to identify the internal position of business university students on student self-government as a condition for the formation and development of their personal and professional qualities. It is established that participation in the relevance of the study is due to the need to increase the importance of educational work in a modern university and the search for effective forms of activity that contribute to the professional development of students – future entrepreneurs. The purpose of the study is to identify the subjective position of students of an entrepreneurial university about student self-government as a condition for the formation and development of their personal and professional qualities. It is established that participation in student selfgovernment contributes to the formation, improvement and development of personal skills.

The work is aimed at studying the psychological conditions of formation at the subjective level in adolescence of an emotionally positive accepting attitude toward the role of mother. The authors conducted a theoretical and empirical study aimed at exploring the relationship between the perceptions of the phenomenon of motherhood, adolescents’ relationships with their parents, and their attitudes toward their personality. Respondents aged 13-16 years of boarding school №1 “Cossack” of Armavir took part in the study. For the empirical study methods were used: “Perceptions of the ideal parent” (R.V. Ovcharova); PARI technique — “Parent-Child Relations” (E.S. Schaefer, R.K. Bell); Test-questionnaire of self-relation (V.V. Stolin, S.R. Panteleev). The results of the study allow us to state that there is a significant inverse relationship between the excessive emotional distance between parents and their child and the cognitive indicator of ideas about motherhood in boarding school students (-0.248). A similar relationship exists between parents’ excessive emotional distance from their child and their self-acceptance (-0.306), that is, the higher the distance, the lower the adolescent’s self-acceptance. It was proved that the child’s self-acceptance and his or her ideas about an ideal mother are interdependent factors (0, 281). Theoretical analysis of psychological research confirmed that the acceptance of motherhood as a special value is in close connection with the awareness of the meaning of one’s life and varies in its defined value depending on the internal position, experience of intrafamily relationships, internalized benchmarks and ideals. The results of the study formed the basis of the model of formation of the value attitude towards motherhood among students.

One of the most debated issues of sustainability in the last century concerned the insulation layer, placing it at the center of technological innovation with a primary role in the design of the building shell; this change has generated an increasingly complex functional model. Its nature, morphology, and location guided the most appropriate choice: vegetable, animal, mineral or synthetic; inconsistent, panel or mat; in external, of interspace or internal position; until now, the products selection has been based on energy savings during the management phase of the building and not looking at production and disposal. This study, expanding the look at the life cycle of thermal insulators, focused on the most controversial in terms of sustainability, those of “plastic” derivation to understand with a correlative method: the trends prepared by companies to reduce “from cradle to gate” the use of fossil resources, the carbon footprint, the amount of water and energy consumed; what are the resolutions adopted to respond, with a renewed “conscious” production, to the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM Italian acronym) required in the Green Public Procurement (extended by virtue of state incentives also to private construction); the opening of the production system to industry 4.0 which will require a BIM (Building Information Modelling) approach for any type of intervention. After an extensive exploration to select a sample of synthetic thermal insulators, emblematic of the recent path of sustainable innovation, three investigations were undertaken aimed at highlighting: the congruity of performance of the winter and summer thermo-hygrometric profile; compliance with CAM but more extensively the attestation of their bio-ecological vocation; the conception of BIM objects for immediate use in the professional field. The results, although not homogeneous, have highlighted a great ferment in the sector, with a very promising technological level of some production lines to resolve prejudices and closures towards the synthetic thermal insulators.

Purpose of the study: development of directions and basic model of resocialization of convicts. This study uses a three-factor dichotomous baseline model of convict resocialization with a single “external-internal” dichotomy. This model defines the “vectors of development” of a convict and shows the common factors of this process, which correctional officers need to consider when organizing re-socialization work with this category of people. The research resulted in conclusions from the analysis of three factor-categories of pedagogy: “education”, “training” and “education”, determining the objective (external) position of the individual, and “self-learning” and “self-education”, determining the subjective (internal) position of the individual. While using the principle of “semantic proximity”, a three-factor basic-dichotomous “superimposition” of these factors-categories of pedagogy on such concepts as “values”, “activity”, “intellect” has been performed. This “superposition” results in three combined basic psycho-pedagogical factors (“value education”, “active learning”, “intellectual education”). From this model, it becomes clear what direction correctional officers should work in terms of “developing the consciousness” of the convict, given the factors in question. The novelty of the study is that the work shows specific examples of activities performed by the staff with convicts, which are associated with the implementation of these factors and the impact on the process of resocialization.
