Water is the basic necessity of every living thing on earth. Humans depend on water not only for meeting domestic household needs but also for needs such as production needs, industrial needs and other needs. The need for clean water is the amount of water that will be used fairly for basic human needs (domestic) and other activities that require water. The hospitality industry is a commercially managed business. This study aims to determine the impact of the use of clean water that occurs during the construction and operation of the Grand Sagara West Surabaya Hotel on Tambak Wedi Village in the next 10 years. The need for clean water for Tambak Wedi Village in 2019 prior to the construction and operation of the Grand Sagara West Surabaya Hotel is 0.0566 m³ / sec, whereas after construction and operation in 2029 is 0.1118 m³ / sec. So, the amount of clean water discharge in Tambak Wedi Urban Village that must be fulfilled by the PDAM in Surabaya in 2029 is 0.0288 m³ / sec. Objective: to understand the impact of soft tissue injuries in the provision of assistance to Basic Human Needs of customers by the nursing staff in the Adult Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in Pernambuco, Brazil. Methodology: this is a descriptive study with quantitative character, performed with 104 nurses in December 2015. A questionnaire drawn from Wanda Horta's theory was used for data collection. Results: the most judicious care provided by the multidisciplinary team (81.7%) and the establishment of bond between professionals and clients (57.7%) were found to be the main positive effects. However, negative effects were outstanding, indicated by increased hospital stay (86.5%) and feeling of anxiety (72.1%). Despite the interference of lesions, body care (86%), communication (63.3%), and religiosity/spirituality (43.3%) needs were referred to as met. Conclusion: the presence of wounds represents a difficulty to meet needs, although they bring some positive impact on the client. However, while recognizing the importance of valuing the customer subjectivity, this aspect is not yet addressed with proper attention. Keywords: Intensive Care Unit; Injuries; Nursing Care; Basic needs.

Humans have served their needs and interests by modifying plants, animals, and ecosystems for millennia. Technology has expanded, accelerated, and intensified the impact. Experimental efforts are now under way to rescue or re-create nature employing highly sophisticated technologies. These endeavors are not aimed at satisfying basic human needs or serving economic interests; their goal is the conservation of biodiversity and ecological restoration. At the same time, they fundamentally alter the fabric of life and guarantee unintended consequences. An examination of the ecological and cultural risks, benefits, and costs of employing synthetic biology to assist evolution and de-extinct species provides a valuable test case for environmentalists and conservationists grappling with the implications of ecological restoration technologies.

This chapter looks at the obligation not to cause significant pollution to other states sharing freshwater resources, and of the emerging obligation to protect the ecosystems of international watercourses. While problems of water pollution have perhaps received more attention in the literature, it seems probable that the protection of watercourse ecosystems is of wider significance, in terms of geography, meeting basic human needs, and sustainable development. Sustainable development was endorsed at the 1992 Earth Summit as the proper approach to reconciling economic development with protection of the environment. It aims at ensuring that economic development will not exhaust the very resources on which it, and human welfare itself, depend. Clean water and healthy aquatic ecosystems are cornerstones of this effort. International law has now progressed to the point that it protects those values.

Density Soekarno Hatta airport has exceeded the capacity of causing the government is trying to provide other airports mempu support aviation activities. Development of airports in Karachi is a top priority among several other areas, because these areas are located not too far to the center of government, industrial centers, and trade center of Indonesia, the Jabodetabek. In addition, with the availability of large tracts of land, the development plan to form an airport aerotropolis can be realized. Activity flight services at an airport can not be separated from the basic human needs for clean water. Planning jetting water at an airport is necessary to consider the estimated number of passengers, introduction and pickup, the estimated number of restaurants, and a mosque. From the analysis the use of quantitative methods in accordance with SKEP 347/XII/99, it can be concluded that the need to prepare the provision of clean water flow at least as much as 392,220 liters per day when the new airport in Karachi operation. Therefore, when the planned maximum speed economy by SKEP 347/XII/99 was 2.5 m /sec, the pipe diameter (d) what is needed is 15:48 cm.Keywords: discharge, diameter, flow velocity Kepadatan Bandar Udara Soekamo Hatta yang telah melebihi kapasitas menyebabkan pemerintah berusaha untuk menyediakan bandar udara lain yang mempu mendukung aktifitas penerbangan.

Abstract The house becomes one of the basic human needs after food and clothing. The quality of the house is determined by physical factors and other factors such as the socio-cultural economy of the inhabitants. Tuberculosis is one of the most infectious diseases with high mortality in Indonesia, Central Java ranks third on the national scale after West Java and East Java in 2016. Magelang has the highest new cases of tuberculosis in Central Java at 775.32 per 100,000 population in 2016 and increase case 845.4 per 100,000 population in 2017. Tuberculosis infection occurs with various factors, including physical (home), and non-physical (socio-cultural and economic) of the inhabitants. The problem is how the physical and non-physical factors of the house affect on the endemic cases of tuberculosis patients in Magelang. The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of physical and non-physical factors on the increasing cases of tuberculosis patients in Magelang. In this article, the researcher uses qualitative descriptive methods with literature review. The results of this review literature will be used to examine empirical cases in Magelang.

Today the world is in crisis. The impact of this crisis on the countries and people of the Third World has been very severe. In this context, Africa is the most affected continent as this economic crisis is aggravated by natural disasters such as drought in many parts of the continent. However, the major problems faced by Africa are external domination and the misplaced priorities of existing development strategies resulting in internal mismanagement. We note the disproportionate bias of the national budget in favor of military expenditure at the expense of basic human needs and services. Past experience has shown that the total emancipation of women and their full participation in the governance of their societies depend largely on the socio-economic and political conditions in which they live.
