The most important tool for a document examiner is his or her own vision, but in this section and the laboratory tour section we will consider the external tools which enable the examiner to see, evaluates and record more than is apparent to the unaided eye. The number of papers outlines the basic necessity of photographic illustrations for demonstrating the data offer clinching evidence, strong enough to with stand legal scrutiny on which opinions of the document examiner are based, hence play a very vital role in the examination of forensic documents. For the purpose of examination in the laboratory as well as the use of photographs becomes indispensible in cases involving traced or simulated forgery, built-up documents, forgery over genuine signatures and forgery by substitution, interpolations, differences in the tint of ink etc. The authors have solved a case in resolving the sequence of strokes with same ball point ink in an actual case received in the laboratory.

The present study was a pre-registered direct replication of Ward et al.’s (2017) second experiment (OSF pre-registration found at: https://osf.io/5fq4r). This replication assigned both smartphone location (on desk, in pocket/bag, or outside of the testing room) and smartphone power (on, or off) for a total of six conditions. Participants completed an automated operation span (OSpan) task, a cue-dependent go/no-go task, and the smartphone attachment and dependency inventory. It was hypothesized that performance on an attention-demanding task (i.e., the OSpan task) would be worse for those in closer proximity to their smartphone (on desk) and that those with greater smartphone attachment and dependency would have a larger “brain drain” effect. Using the same tasks and conditions as in Ward et al.’s (2017) second experiment, the present study found that the “brain drain” effect did not replicate: there was no difference between smartphone location conditions on performance on either the o-span task or the go/no-go task. These findings demonstrate that the mere presence of one’s smartphone may not be enough to affect cognitive performance. Understanding these effects is crucial in a time where smartphones are a basic necessity.

The vast resources of old working computers are getting bigger and bigger. Companies that consider these old computers as obsolete but still working put these computers to the storage, or worse, junk. Different entities are more and more relying on supercomputers to replace their ordinary and old computers. Supercomputers have become a basic necessity in this generation. It has a wide variety of functions that make our daily work easier. Having a well-built supercomputer with excellent specifications is a must; however, it comes with a cost. The computers can be clustered to create a supercomputer. The computers used in these clustered supercomputers have the exact specifications, such as uniform models with the same number of cores per processor and the same memory capacity. This study focuses on creating a supercomputer using different processors with a different number of cores per processor, processor speed, and different memory capacity. This study can be a valuable system for entities that have old computers in their workplace. They can reuse their old computers and combine them with other computers to create a supercomputer, thus reducing waste and recycling old resources. This study will be using different types of Raspberry Pi (RPi) computers combining old and new models to simulate the scenario of combining multi-core processors in creating supercomputers.

Water is the basic necessity of every living thing on earth. Humans depend on water not only for meeting domestic household needs but also for needs such as production needs, industrial needs and other needs. The need for clean water is the amount of water that will be used fairly for basic human needs (domestic) and other activities that require water. The hospitality industry is a commercially managed business. This study aims to determine the impact of the use of clean water that occurs during the construction and operation of the Grand Sagara West Surabaya Hotel on Tambak Wedi Village in the next 10 years. The need for clean water for Tambak Wedi Village in 2019 prior to the construction and operation of the Grand Sagara West Surabaya Hotel is 0.0566 m³ / sec, whereas after construction and operation in 2029 is 0.1118 m³ / sec. So, the amount of clean water discharge in Tambak Wedi Urban Village that must be fulfilled by the PDAM in Surabaya in 2029 is 0.0288 m³ / sec. Clean water, water needs, water discharge, hotel, PDAM Surabaya city.

AbstractThe development of increasingly advanced technology has influenced the lives of believers, one of which is gadgets. Gadgets are a daily necessity and even a basic necessity. This development is very good. However, not all of these developments must be followed. Even Christian youths are involved in the alcohol trend. This is not a good situation. Christian leaders need to see and anticipate this so that the congregation does not carry on with the flow of developments that will distract people from the life that should be an example for their surroundings. The method used by the author is a qualitative method. Qualitative Method because of the problem regarding the decline of Christian leadership in the Millennial Era. In this era, Christian leaders who are superior in character are needed. Not a few of Christian leaders do not care about their character. This requires the willingness of Christian leaders who want to build their character so that they become superior and capable Christian leaders. Because without good character, leaders are unable to lead. Character is the main thing that is prepared by Christian leaders to become leaders.

Gandhaka is one of the materials that are in extensive use in the past and also in the present era. It can be equated with Sulphur in modern chemistry. All most all the Rasa literature have included it under UpaRasa group, however in the periodic table it belongs to VI – A. It has a great role mainly in the preparations of Rasa and Rasayana drugs. As such the material in crude form can’t be used in drug manufacturing and therefore the crude materials are to be subjected to certain pharmaceutical measures to render them suitable for conversion into medicine and among such procedures the Shodhana is one.   Historically Shodhana concept was in existence since the time of Smriti grantha Manusmriti and  Charak Samhita 1(600- 1000 B.C) as while enumerating the fundamentals of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics- Saucha(Sudhhikarana) is found enumerated as one of the basic  necessity for  “Gunantaradhana”(alteration and/or addition of properties in the drugs). This concept was further developed after the development of Rasashastra. In the current article 18 classics of  Rasashastra been explored and different Gandhaka Sodhana (purification) methods were analyzed and discussed elaborately. Keywords: Gandhaka,Sodhana,Dhalana, Bhavana, Prakshalana, Mardana, Nirvapa,Swedana, Galana
