The role of Aviation Security in maintaining, observing, researching and inspecting passengers, passenger's belongings is an obligation in the field of aviation. Aviation Security in performing the work either in the airport environment or in the airline is carried out according to the expertise required by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation must have a tiered license ranging from Basic Aviation Security to Senior Aviation Security. Therefore, library studies on aviation security is expected to provide benefits to the aviation world, especially in terms of security and flight safety.

Abstract In the field of security in transport distinguish risks related to flight safety and aviation security. Safety of flights is ensured through the reliability of aviation equipment and the qualification of the personnel who services and operates it, aviation security is a condition of protection from illegal interference in its activity. Risk management in civil aviation in the field of security is a relatively new direction of activity. Deep research in this area began only at the beginning of the XXI century. It is quite difficult to use the existing experience of risk management, accumulated in other spheres, as civil aviation has significant features. Various methods and schemes can be used to assess risks. The article discusses various options for predicting risks using the “event tree” and “risk factor tree” methods.

The variety of complaints appearing on Aviation Industry in Indonesia actually indicates the existence of problems on aviation system in Indonesia. The number of complaints may serve as an early detection in a system before the occurrence of an accident in a flight. Increasing numbers of flight service users in Indonesia had not been supported with an adequate complaint delivery, whether it is for internal complaints or external ones. One of available solutions is to detect whether all system components on Aviation Industry in Indonesia is good or not. In an effort to enhance system performance, a model for integrated complaint delivery is developed on Aviation Industry based on SMS Gateway in Indonesia. The model is expected to become a data bank on Aviation Industry to ease controlling, evaluating and improving condition performance on flight systems. This research used comparative and descriptive methods. It also results in applied product hence it is expected that the output can be used to complement the current product/program operated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The development of a model for complaint delivery is conducted to make cellular phone numbers inputs for all stakeholders on aviation industry. This strategy activates all stakeholders to provide information regarding the current conditions for all subsystems in flight system in Indonesia

This study offers an assessment of the work of International Organizations regarding the Role of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in implementing international aviation safety standards, focusing on PT Lion Airlines in Indonesia. The study assesses the role of ICAO’s goals for international aviation safety and analyses the organisation’s safety standards as applied in Indonesia to PT Lion Airlines. Descriptive analysis is employed to describe all events or processes that are taking place by collecting data and then analyzing and interpreting it in a hypothesis testing. Introduction. We present the study results of pilots of different age groups about the role of campaign policies in ensuring the safety of flights, health, and social well-being of pilots. The study aims to learn the ideas of civil aviation pilots of different age groups about the role of campaign policies in ensuring flight safety. Materials and methods. The researchers used the following methods as empirical research methods: focus group method, content analysis of pilots' statements, frequency analysis method, implemented in the SPSS-20 program. Results. According to the frequency analysis results, we identified adverse factors of the labor process that negatively affect flight safety. Of these, the most damaging factors of labor activity are: a violation of the elements and features of the organizational, legal and material, and economic management subsystems (organizational characteristics) - 97.5% of respondents; infringement of the work and rest regime of civil aviation pilots - 100% of respondents; stress in the workplace - 92.5% of respondents; poor-quality training - 77.5%; manipulation of wages - 77%. Conclusions. The analysis of the obtained results allows us to conclude that the management policy of the organization and personnel is a crucial factor determining flight safety, a high level of motivation to work, productivity, and health of pilots.

The presented study determines the role of business aviation in the modern economy and examines the specific features of its development in Russia.Aim. The study aims to analyze the development of business aviation in Russia and its correlation with economic development in general.Tasks. The authors determine the benefits of business aviation as a business tool, examine the specific features of the Russian business aviation market and problems of its development, and identify factors that affect the development of business aviation in Russia.Methods. This study uses the methods of comparative and retrospective analysis, cross-country comparison, systems approach, and expert analytics.Results. Business aviation is a new segment of civil aviation for Russia. Therefore, it is advisable to rely on foreign practices in the management of its development. In many countries, business aviation is a separate industry that specializes in providing transport services to a wide range of corporate clients and/or individuals. The development of this industry is associated with the economic growth rate and the development level of the national economy, and also depends on the national institutional specifics. This study describes the specific features of development of business aviation in Russia and problems arising in the organization and management of this type of business.Conclusions. The authors develop a system of factors affecting the development of business aviation in Russia, describe the major problems of this industry, and propose solutions. The results of this study can be used in the development (adjustment) of business aviation development strategies in Russia both at the industrial and corporate level, and in the implementation of the national policy in this field.

The Future

The prospect of commercial passenger spaceflight presents an unique opportunity to the space community, comprised not only of the scientists, engineers, enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, but also diplomats, governments, policy makers and legislators, to formulate an internationally acceptable set of requirements, standards and procedures that would give international consistency to operators of commercial passenger spaceflight, both for space tourism and for terrestrial transportation. It is important that the international community avail itself of this opportunity before various countries decide to become “flags of convenience” or to impose more stringent standards than overseas operators can comply with so as to protect a budding industry of their own. This article will explore, from parallels in maritime law and civil aviation law, and drawing from existing domestic examples of regulation, what lessons may be learnt from such existing bodies of law and regulation that may provide some guidance for the future formulation of regulations for on range safety, flight safety or accident investigation relating to commercial passenger spaceflight.

During an operational process, activity is implemented through an ordered sequence of certain actions united by a common motive. Actions can be simple or complex. Simple actions cannot be split into elements having independent objectives. Complex actions can be presented in the form of a set of simple actions. If the logical organisation of this set is open, a complex action can be described as an algorithm consisting of simple actions. That means various kinds of operational activities develop from the same simple and typical actions, but in various sequences. Therefore, human error is always generated by a more elementary error of action. Thus, errors of action are the primary parameter that is universal for any kind of activity of an aviation specialist and can serve as a measure for estimating the negative influence of the human factor (HF) on flight safety. Aviation personnel are various groups of experts having various specialisations and working in various areas of civil aviation. It is obvious that their influence on conditions is also unequal and is defined by their degree of interaction with the performance of flights. In this article, the results of an analysis of air incidents will be presented.
