Background. The language, reflecting the originality of the people, the national spirit, the national vision of the world, the national culture, represents the united spiritual energy of the people, which is imprinted in certain sounds. The "national spirit" is the driving force behind the development of the language. "Language is a constantly renewed work of the spirit to make the articulated sound suitable for the expression of thought." The concept of "internal form" is considered in connection with the concept of "national spirit". The most important attribute of language, Humboldt singles out the "linguistic internal form", which means the totality of the laws of language reproduction, the laws according to which the spirit acts. Methods. Language is recognized as a mediator between reality and consciousness, since the world as an “inexhaustible 'continuum of diversity'”, offering us an infinite number of classifications of these varieties, does not impose any of them. Reality and its proposed classifications are reflected not directly in the language, but in consciousness, which fixes this reflection in conventional signs. Results.

The article analyzes modern design practices based on symbolic and ornamental motives of folk art and their modern actualization in ethno-artistic areas, reflecting the relationship of traditional aspects with innovative, symbolic translation of cultural experience in time and space, creating symbolic value images, enhancing emotional environment and creating new narratives. Symbols, as the basis of the existence of the people, reflect the ethno- national aspects of culture, is an opportunity to find yourself at the level of relationship with your people, your nation, traditions. The appeal to archetypes is a special methodological perspective in which the meaning of the future is created due to the transformation of the past into a symbol. What is relevant in modern Ukrainian realities is that the whole cultural paradigm is being reconsidered and new ways of national identification are being sought. Embroidery is marked by a special color and incredible ornamentation, complex performance technique, which is reflected in the symbols of sociocultural practices, immersing in the depths of traditional norms and values that encourage to feel, assimilate, preserve and transmit. In modern domestic discourse, design practices are thought of as aimed at transforming the cultural environment into the integrity of cultural and natural components. They serve as a basis for forming an idea of the world and building harmonious relationships with the world. And the use of symbols-amulets and a certain emotional color is a special process of self-identification and the foundation for the revival of national culture and spiritual values, seeing their own place in the global cultural and artistic space. Therefore, the use of ornamental symbols in design practice is the basis for the revival of national culture and spiritual values and the formation of a new promising direction of Ukrainian design. Among the spiritual heritage of Ukraine with its color and incredible ornamentation, complex technique is embroidery, which is reflected in the symbols-codes of modern socio-cultural practices

This research paper is devoted to the thorough study of phraseological units in terms of national connotation. Phraseological units that reflect national and cultural identity are the beauty and art of language. Phraseologisms, by their very nature, are a means of expressing imagery in a language, but they also serve to reveal the national culture, character, humor, grief, and anxiety of a people. For this reason, phraseology is the most important unit of poetic language used in the literary text to fully express the image, character, character, and to illustrate and exaggerate events, happenings, and situations. The phraseological resources of each language reflect the socio-historical events, moral and spiritual-cultural norms, mental and psychological conditions, religious ideas, national traditions and customs of the people. Such phraseologies belonging to the vocabulary of a particular language community are among the national language tools. They polish the national color of the work of art and create a strong emotionality, while emphasizing the popularity and originality of the language.

Pearl S. Buck was the first American female writer (later Toni Morrison) to receive the prestigious Nobel Prize for literature in 1938. Her writing pages have created streaks of spectroscopy that have a strong, lasting effect on world literature from the 30s of the twentieth century. In particular, with Good Land, Divided Sons and Families are works in the trilogy of The House of Earth, and she received the William Dean Howells medal from the Academy of Arts and Sciences. Arts and Literature for the best writing in 1931-1935, at the same time, it also helps her name in the world. Up to the present time, nearly 70 of her compositions can still be found in isolated villages and farms in Tanzania, New Guinea, India, Colombia or in a hut in Malawi. The object of literature, after all the "land" and "the", and each writer often "freeze" a land of their own, a social class to tell, to describe and dissect. Pearl Buck chose vast country like China and the most populous in the world, rather than her native country, to "ground" his art. Despite of living in the land of China only about three decades, time only a third of the life she lived, but the land and the people here have written off the source of her career, which she wrote more works profound value. Through the land symbol in the trilogy of The Real Estate, Pearl S. Buck pointed out the organic relationship between land and people.

In the works of Tanzharyk Zholdyuly the concepts of "woman", "man", "truth", "native land", "country" are found, the world of the poet. There is a subtle psychology, the attitude of the poet to the Motherland, the native land, love, a sense of patriotism. With the help of the study of linguistic personality T. Zholdyuly, we recognize the linguistic personality, isolated by the nature of the national cultural existence, the national spirit of patriotism, the beauty of the environment, the mastery of the fine arts of the national worldview. Having studied the linguistic personality of the poet, it is possible to clearly see the national existence and worldview of the people. Clearly, from the Civil personality of Tanzharyk Zholdyuly there is an aspiration to influence, movement in the Kazakh society. In this direction in his works there are many own word combinations, author's metaphors and comparisons, which represent the national character. The staging of the lexical layer of the poet's works: Kazakh national cultural environment, existence, truth, worldview and worldview. In further study at the cognitive and pragmatic levels, allowing us to fully recognize the language personality, allows us to recognize the language personality as a poet, artist, master of the artistic word.

This paper is to discuss the “Orientalism” in The Tale of Genji as world literature through the translations of The Tale of Genji that had been translated into English by the Westerns. The popularity of The Tale of Genji cannot be separated from the important role of the translation. The English translations of The Tale of Genji had become a tool for the people surround the World to enjoy reading The Tale of Genji although they cannot speak or read Japanese. We cannot take lightly the role of translation. Regarding to the translation issue, it is also important to know closely about the translators’ perspective towards The Tale of Genji. Since the major translators of The Tale of Genji are Western, it is imperative to know Westerns’ perspectives towards Easterns since The Tale of Genji came from Asian. With the purpose to resolve this case, the analysis of this paper uses Orientalism as its theoretical concept in examining the Westerns’ perspective towards The Tale of Genji through the translation. This paper also examines how the translations of The Tale of Genji could be easily received as the world literature.

The textbook examines the factors that shape the culture of food of different countries and peoples, the main systems and types of food. The leading role of food culture in shaping the health of the nation is revealed. Chapters 2-7 are devoted to the national characteristics and traditions in the diet of different countries, national cuisine which deserve special attention because of the wide popularity in the world. The General principles of formation of traditions and features of food of the people of the world taking into account national, religious, historical and natural and geographical conditions are considered. It will be useful for bachelors in preparing for seminars, performing individual calculation and graphic tasks and preparing for certification in the discipline.

Abstract Discussions on world literature often imagine literary presence, movement, and exchange in terms of location and prioritize those literary traditions that can be easily mapped. In many regards, classical ghazal poetry resists such interpretation. Nonetheless, a number of nineteenth-century writers working in Urdu and English reframed classical ghazal poetry according to notions of locale that were particularly underpinned by ideas of natural essence, or genius. This article puts two such receptions of the classical ghazal in conversation with one another: the naičral shāʿirī (natural poetry) movement in North India, and the portrayal of classical Persian poet Hafiz as a figure of national genius in the scholarship of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Both these examples highlight the role that discourses of nature and natural expression played in nineteenth-century literary criticism, particularly with regard to conceptions of national culture. They also demonstrate how Persianate literary material that had long circulated in cosmopolitan ways could be vernacularized by rereading conventionalized tropes of mystical longing in terms of more worldly belonging.

Passing on the forms of arts and games from generation to generation, our people have basically preserved their continuity, their own style. Now every nation in the world has its own unique samples of culture and art, which were published due to various historical and social circumstances. But, it is very difficult when, despite various natural disasters, wars and other negative phenomena, for many centuries to maintain and increase, improve their national traditions, way of life, life, including folk games. The younger generation is handed over the most valuable in spiritual terms, life-long, in which importance increases from year to year. In the same way, unquenchable samples of our national culture and art in the field of physical culture and sports, if they continue to develop in educational institutions, we can assume that the task is to adequately continue the work of ancestors who absorbed the irrepressible power of physical qualities in their descendants combined with intellectual, with the help of massive national games - completed.
