This study determined the effect of supervision and professionalism on teacher performance in State Junior High Schools of SP. Padang. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were all junior high school teachers with the status of Civil Servants in SP. Padang. While the sample was obtained by totaling sampling technique with 51 respondents. Data collected by documentation, questionnaires, and observations. Data analysis techniques using simple linear regression formula and multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study concluded that there was an influence of supervision and on the teacher performance of the State Junior High Schools of SP. Padang. There is an influence of teacher professionalism on teacher performance in State Junior High Schools of SP. Padang. There is an influence of teacher supervision and professionalism together on the teacher performance of State Junior High Schools of SP. Padang.

<p class="Abstract">Place of research  in some of SMP Negeri in Tanjungpinang and Bintan. The population is all science teachers of SMP Negeri in Tanjungpinang and Bintan while the sample in this study consists of eight Junior High Schools located in Tanjungpinang and four Junior High Schools in Bintan.This study aims to determine the use of learning media by science teachers in Tanjungpinang and Bintan and constraints faced by teachers regarding the use of learning media. Sampling technique in this research is simple random sampling. While type of research is descriptive. Data collection was obtained through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Questionnaire contains ten questions using a Guttman scale consisting of “yes” and “no” questions.Data collection is also done by interviewing teachers to find out the constraints found by teachers during the learning process takes place. Other data collection techniques are done by looking at the RPP created by teachers on the learning media used.The results obtained an average of 69.16% of teachers use learning media during the learning process took place. From the average results seen that not all teachers of IPA in SMP Negeri Tanjungpinang and Bintan use learning media during the learning-teaching process.While the expectations at this time in accordance with the demands of the curriculum that during the learning process should use learning media. The results from the questionnaires obtained data about the constraints found in the teacher's use or to use the learning media.The results obtained by analyzing the RPP turns out that teachers write the media used in each meeting, this is not in accordance with the fact of the average outcomes. There should be a policy from government and school to overcome these obstacles. Further research that I suggest is to know the creativity of teachers in making learning media.</p>

This study aims to determine the effect of the leadership of the school principal and school committee on the performance of the teachers of the State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District, by using quantitative methods with this type of correlational research. The research population consisted of 107 teachers at the State Junior High School in Muaradua District. The research sample was 48 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, namely sampling by determining certain criteria. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis techniques and multiple regression. The results showed that: (1) The leadership of the principal has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of the State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District; (2) The school committee has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District; and (3) The leadership of the principal and the school committee jointly have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of the State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District.

<p><em>This study aimed to determine the implementation of online sports learning at Junior High Schools in Patebon District, Kendal Regency. This study used a qualitative method through a survey approach. The subjects in this study were eight sports Junior High School teachers in Patebon District, Kendal Regency. Technical data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data results were analyzed and tested for validity using SPSS program version 23 for windows. The results of the research could be explained that the implementation of online sports learning in Junior High Schools in Patebon District, Kendal Regency, that implied there are three of sports teachers (37,5%) has implemented the learning very well, three sports teacher (37,5%) has implemented the learning were good, and two of sports teachers (25%) has implemented the learning were good enough. This study concluded is 75% of sports teachers in Patebon District, Kendal Regency, had been said to be well done, and 25% of sports teachers were affirmed are good enough at implementing online learning. Just on of Junior High School was affirmed good enough at implementing online learning.</em></p>

This study aims to see whether there is an influence on teacher performance and the utilization of learning resources on student achievement in the field of Islamic Education in Private Junior High Schools in the Bukit Raya District of Pekanbaru City. The population in this study were all VII grade students of Private Junior High Schools in the Bukit Raya District of Pekanbaru, which amounted to 323 people. The sample in this study was taken by proportionate random sampling technique with Slovin formula that is 173 people. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire technique, the data collected was analyzed using multiple regression analysis namely Y = a + b1X1 + b2X2. The results of this study indicate the value of R2 (coefficient of determination) or R Square of 0.284 or 28.4%. This value can be interpreted that changes in student achievement by changes in the value of the independent variable teacher performance and the utilization of learning resources by 28.4% while 71.6% is determined by changes in other factors. Tcount value for learning motivation variable is 3.529 with sig. 0.001 smaller than 0.05 this means that there is an influence of teacher performance on student achievement and tcount for the utilization of learning resources variable is 3,659 with sig. 0,000 is less than 0.05, this means that there is an influence of the use of learning resources on student achievement. It can be concluded that there is an influence between teacher performance and the utilization of learning resources on student achievement in the field of Islamic Education in Private Junior High Schools in the Bukit Raya District of Pekanbaru City.

Globally, there is the quest to improve quality education as highlighted by the Sustainable Development Goal 4. One of the quintessential factors that could facilitate the attainment of this global goal is effective and adequate educational process factors. The study specifically sought to assess the state of educational process factors such as teacher use of instructional time, level of parental and community involvement, type of leadership, curriculum coverage among the urban, rural, public, and private junior high schools in the Central Region of Ghana. The descriptive survey design was used to carry out the study. Through stratified sampling technique, 1260 respondents comprising 126 head teachers, and 378 junior high school teachers were engaged in the study. Two sets of questionnaires were designed for the headteachers and teachers. Data gathered were analysed using frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations as well as chi-square test of association and independent samples t-test. It was found that educational process factors were generally better in urban schools as well as private schools. For rural schools and public schools, the educational process factors were poor, particularly, the percentage of syllabus coverage was low for English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science. It was concluded that deficit in educational process factors posed threat to the quality of education. It was suggested that the Ministry of Education, together with teachers should strive to enhance process variables in schools.

Background: Internet addiction has become a serious problem in the world, especially for adolescents. Temperament plays an important role in influencing internet addiction in adolescents. Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between students’ characteristics and temperament with their internet addiction levels in one of the junior high schools in Surabaya, Indonesia. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study, which used primary data that was obtained from students who filled out a questionnaire. The study sample included 114 students in one of the junior high schools in Surabaya. The dependent variable was the internet addiction level; the dependent variables were gender, age, student grade, and temperament. An Internet Addiction Test (IAT) and an Early Adolescents Temperament Questionnaire-Revised (EATQ-R) were the tools used for data collection. Data was collected in November 2019. The sample selection was done through the stratified random sampling technique. The data was subsequently analyzed using the Fisher’s exact and Spearman correlation tests. Results: There was a significant positive correlation between age (p<0.01), student grade (p<0.05), negative affectivity (p<0.01), and surgency (p<0.05) toward internet addiction levels. There was a significant negative correlation observed between effortful control (p<0.05) and internet addiction levels. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between age, student grade, negative affectivity, surgency, and effortful control and adolescents’ internet addiction levels.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of teachers in learning SMP Negeri in Bengkalis Regency. The population sample in this study is amounted to 56 people. They are all teachers who are Civil Servants who teach at Bengkalis Regency Public Junior High Schools consisting of Public Junior High Schools in Bukit Batu District and State Junior High Schools in Bandar Laksamana District. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative and path analysis. The results of the study show: 1) the work climate has an effect on teacher job satisfaction by 43.1%; 2) work motivation has an effect on teacher job satisfaction by 42.5%; 3) work climate has an effect on teacher performance by 35.3%; 4) work motivation has an effect on teacher performance by 32.7%; 5) job satisfaction has an effect on teacher performance by 26.0%; 6) work climate has an effect on teacher performance through job satisfaction of 11.2%; 7) work motivation has an effect on teacher performance through job satisfaction of 11.0%. The meaning is that if the work climate has good quality, is comfortable, and pleasant, it will lead to satisfaction for a teacher, and this will trigger the teacher's enthusiasm in teaching which will have an impact on improving teacher performance.

Abstract: The Contributions of Principals’ Leadership and Compensation to the Job Satisfaction of State Junior High School Teachers in Semarang. The objective of the study is to investigate the contributions of principals’ leadership and compensation to teachers’ job satisfaction. The sample consisted of 288 teachers of state junior high schools in Semarang. The data were collected using a questionnaire and were analyzed using a regression technique. The results show that: (1) individually and aggregately, there are positive and significant contributions of principals’ leadership and compensation to teachers’ job satisfaction; and (2) 45.7% of teachers’ job satisfaction is contributed by principals’ leadership and 30.1% by compensation. It can be concluded that principals’ leadership has a greater contribution than compensation to the improvement of the satisfaction of teachers of state junior high schools in Semarang. Minimum Service Standard (MSS) for the implementation of elementary and secondary education schools is a technical specification as a benchmark of minimum services that must be done by the district / city government in organizing schooling activities in the field of primary and secondary education.A measure of the success of the performance of the national education system is the guarantee of education accountability, one of the indicators is the enactment of an effective quality assurance management system in education to protect the community. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) The influence of the leadership of the principal on the effectiveness of the implementation of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) of junior high schools in Sukabumi City.2) Influence of teacher performance on the effectiveness of the implementation of Minimum Service Standards (MSS) of junior high schools in Sukabumi City.The method used in this study is quanttif, with the data analysis technique using inferential descriptive statics. The results of the study showed that the principal's leadership variable (X1) directly affects the effectiveness of the implementation of junior high school SPM in Sukabumi City by 4.5%, and indirectly (through teacher performance) by 1.6%.While the influence of teacher performance (X2) on the effectiveness of junior high school implementation in Sukabumi City by 15.4%.Therefore, it can be concluded that 1) There is an influence between the leadership of the principal on the effectiveness of the implementation of junior high school in Sukabumi City.2) There is an influence between the performance of teachers on the effectiveness of the implementation of junior high school in Sukabumi City.3) There is the influence of the principal's leadership and teacher performance together on the effectiveness of the implementation of Minimum Service Standards (MSS) of junior high schools in Sukabumi City.
