The study aims at identifying the importance of using technology especially YouTube in the development of English vocabulary among elementary school students. Further, the current study aims at identifying students' levels of ability through the use of technology and modern methods used in education, specifically the use of YouTube. To achieve these objectives, a sample of thirty of fifth grade female students was chosen and divided equally and randomly into two groups. Pre-test and post-test method were used to measure the learning ability of these two groups. The results revealed that the use of YouTube increased the ability of students in learning new vocabulary which show that technology has positive effects on learning process. Based on these findings, it is recommended to integrate technological aids on the classrooms.

This study was used to improve the articulation ability of deaf children of grade 2 elementary school students at SDN Kebonsari 5 Jember through the Drill learning method. The subject of this research supports 6 people, namely 3 male students and 3 female students. Data collection techniques using collection techniques and tests of articulation skills. Analysis of the data used is a comparative technique that compares the results of pre-test and post test. The process of enhancing the ability of articulation is carried out from the pre-test to determine the students' initial abilities. The pre-test shows that the subject has not yet reached the specified KKM, which is 60. Then training is carried out using the Drill method or repetition. After a number of training sessions were carried out. Post test results show students who have increased grades. From the initial number 50 and below, it is now 60 and above. Furthermore, considering the results of Zh (2.05) is greater than the value of Z table 5% (1.96), or Zh (2.05)> Z table (1.96), then Ho is rejected, which means it needs to be added to learning methods dirll towards the development of articulation of deaf children. Conclusion, that is the significance of the significant importance between Bor learning methods on the development of articulation of deaf children. Keywords: Drill, Articulation, Deaf Method

The background of this study is the lack of understanding of gender equality in elementary school students which raises various attitudes and actions that tend to be discriminatory and unfair to one party, especially felt by female students. The purpose of this study is to build students' understanding of gender equality through the development of citizenship education textbooks for the fifth grade of elementary schools in Indramayu Regency. The research approach used is the Reaserch And Development (R & D) research. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Indramayu Regency who were used as research samples. The number of schools studied were 18 elementary schools from the western part of Indramayu, central part of Indramayu and eastern part of Indramayu. The results of the study show that students understanding of gender equality changes and is better after obtaining Pancasila and Civic Education subject matter by paying attention to the equality of Gender contained in the book on gender Pancasila and Civic Education compiled by researchers.

The main problem of this study is the lack of ability to think kriis Elementary School fifth grade students in the learning of Social Sciences. This study uses a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental methods. The study population was the fifth-grade elementary school students in District Ciparay Bandung regency. The sample consisted of 51 students divided into 25 students in the class IV-A as an experimental group and 26 students in the class IV-B as the control group. Instruments used comprises a written test regarding social issues. Quantitative analysis is performed against the average pretest and post test critical thinking skills by using the t-test and Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the differences are critical thinking skills in students using problem-based learning model at initial measurement (pre-test) and the final measurement (post-test). encourage the student can solve his problems with critical thinking, there are no differences in the ability of critical thinking in students who use conventional learning model at initial measurement (pre-test) and the final measurement (post-test), there is an increased critical thinking skill in students whose learning using model-based the problem is higher than students whose learning using conventional learning.

El propósito de este trabajo fue analizar los efectos de una unidad didáctica de juegos cooperativos sobre el autoconcepto físico en escolares de 5º y 6º de educación primaria dentro de las clases de educación física. Los participantes fueron 101 escolares (10.40 ± .50 años) de Lugo (España). Se empleó un diseño cuasi-experimental pre-post test con un grupo de control. El grupo control y el experimental estuvieron constituidos por 50 y 51 alumnos respectivamente. Para medir el autoconcepto físico se utilizó la escala de autoconcepto físico (PSPP). Los resultados indicaron efectos positivos del programa sobre la condición física (p < .001); apariencia (p = .001); competencia percibida (p < .001) fuerza (p < .001) y autoestima (p = .015). Los datos encontrados sugieren que la aplicación de unidades didácticas o programas basados en los juegos cooperativos podrían incidir de manera positiva en el autoconcepto físico de los escolares dentro de las clases de educación física.Abstract. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of a didactic unit of cooperative games on physical self-concept in 5th and 6th grade elementary school students within physical education classes. The control and experimental groups consisted of 50 and 60 students respectively. The Physical Self-Concept Scale (PSPP) was used to measure physical self-concept. Results indicated positive effects of the program on physical condition (p <.001); Appearance (p = .001); Perceived competence (p <.001); strength (p <.001); and self-esteem (p = .015). Data suggest that the application of didactic units or programs based on cooperative games may positively affect students’ physical self-concept within physical education classes.

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the character of homeland love for elementary school students through the application of ethno-edutainment-based learning. This research is a pre-experimental study with one group pretest post test design research design. The sample used in this study was a fifth grade student of Muhammadiyah Kudus Elementary School with a purposive sampling technique. Data on students' love of homeland characters was obtainedusing student observation sheets and analyzed using normalized gain tests. The results showed that students' homeland love character scores after learning were higher, reaching 12.54 compared to before learning with a score of 6.36. The results of the normalized gain analysis show that the level of increase in the love character of the homeland students in the low category was 4.55%, the medium category was 40.91%, and the high category was 54.54%. Classically, the value of normalized gain g is 72% or 0.72, which means that the interpretation of the increasein the character of love for the country is high

In the 21st century, the use of innovative and digital-based teaching media are required. This research aimed at examining the effect of gamification based on local stories as teaching media on fifth grade elementary school students’ motivation. Quasi experimental with one group pre-test post-test design was implemented. The study was conducted at SD N 1 Penarukan where 25 of fifth grade students in academic year 2019/2020 were involved as the sample of study. Three instruments were administered to collect the data; pre-test post-test, treatment instrument and interview. The result showed that post-test mean score has significantly improved compared to pre-test score (42.29 > 23.35). Hypothesis testing result (paired sample t-test) showed the tobs value was higher than tcv (20.811>1.677) with α = 0.05, which indicated that gamification positively affected students’ motivation. The interview result revealed that the students are highly motivated to learn by using gamification.

The problem in the low science knowledge competence in fifth-grade elementary school students at Gugus VIII, Kecamatan Kintamani, is the main research problem. The students' low science knowledge competence occurs because learning is still a teacher centre and the minimal use of learning media. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyse the effect of the student facilitator and explain (SFE) learning model assisted by Mind mapping media on science knowledge competence at fifth-grade elementary school students. This type research is a quasi-experimental design with Non-Equivalent Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade SD Gugus VIII Kecamatan Kintamani, consisted of 111 students. The sample in this study was taken by side random technique, it was found that the fifth grade SD Negeri Abangsongan as an experimental group which consisted of 26 students and the fifth grade of SD Negeri Suter as a control group which consisted of 25 students. Data collected used the science knowledge competency test method in multiple-choice objective tests. Science knowledge competency data analysed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics with 5%. Significance level. From the data analysis results, tcount 5.76> ttable 2.00. So that H0 rejected. It means that there is a significant effect of the SFE learning model assisted by Mind mapping media on the science knowledge competence atfifth-grade elementary school students in Gugus VIII, Kecamatan Kintamani. For research that has the same variables, the results can be used as a study of relevant research.

This research is motivated by the lack of utilization of the media in conducting learning related to space, making spatial literacy of students less explored. In addition, students tend to be more passive and bored quickly when the teacher in delivering learning comes only from the student's textbook. The lack of understanding of students' spatial literacy, in the end causes students to be less careful in making decisions and also solving spatial problems that occur in everyday life. This research was conducted related to the effectiveness of media maps in social studies learning in class V students of elementary schools in Metro City. The purpose of this study was to provide an understanding of students' spatial literacy, especially in material related to space in social studies subjects. The type of this study is quasi-experimental research using the design of nonequivalent groups pre test-post test from Fraenkel and Wallen. The design of nonequivalent groups pre test - post test was started by setting the experimental group and the control group, then doing the pre test, followed by giving treatment to the two classes and ending with a post test. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Metro City. Data collection techniques in the form of tests. The research instrument is a spatial literacy test sheet. Data were analyzed using normality test and Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of using media maps in social studies learning can provide an understanding of spatial literacy of fifth grade elementary school students in Metro City. This can be seen from the increase in the correct number of each indicator of spatial literacy that is given in the form of determining the location, identifying spatial orientation, determining the closest distance and identifying objects through symbols on the map. The results of this study can be a suggestion for teachers and schools to continue to facilitate social studies learning with appropriate media, especially media maps for material related to space, so as to provide students with more understanding of spatial literacy. This study aims to improve the results of learning mathematics of elementary school students SDIT Deli Insani of class V on the subject matter of fractions by using number playing card media. The from of this study is classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles, using number playing cards at SDIT Deli Insani in class V Tanjung Morawa. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDIT Deli Insani, amounting to 30 students. This action was carried out in April 2018. Methods of collecting data using observation and documentation. The data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed an increase in students' ability to understand concepts from the first cycle and second cycle. Percentage of increase in pre-action results, cycle I and cycle II students' concept comprehension ability that is 13.04% for indicators identifying number forms using number game cards (dominoes) and indicators solving problems in fractional form operations using dominoes 27.26%. the success indicator in cycle II reaches 80%. Thus the application of number game cards can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts at SDIT Deli Insani in Class V.

Recently, game-based multimedia development has been increasing rapidly. Game-based multimedia is not only used for entertaining but also for teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, for the majority of elementary school students, numeracy learning is still considered as a difficult subject to be learned and has not attracted students’ interest because it still uses vertical methods. The objective of this research is to examine the implementation of game-based multimedia in learning horizontal numeracy. In this game-based multimedia, horizontal numeracy material is presented in the form of a game. Horizontal numeracy material begins with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Game-based multimedia is implemented to 20 students in grade 3 elementary schools in Bandung, Indonesia. Subsequently, the way students learn the materials and their learning outcomes are explored after using this multimedia. The results show that the students can learn horizontal numeracy excitingly; moreover, they can easily understand the concept of horizontal numeracy quickly. It is indicated by by the increasing of average post-test value.
