This article describes the design of a web-based environment that links teaching strategies used in different faculties with graduate attributes. Whilst graduate attributes have existed at the University of Wollongong since the 1990s, this is the first time teaching strategies that enable students to develop these attributes have been articulated and shared electronically. The strategies are the practical or tacit knowledge of university teaching. The paper provides a background for the role of graduate attributes in higher education and explains the reason for focussing on teaching strategies. It describes the website resource with some examples and outlines dissemination and evaluation plans for the initiative. It is hoped that the website will become a “growing” site as a resource for a university community to share teaching strategies across different faculties.

The widespread use of technology in daily life, and particularly in education in higher education institutions has devoted growing attention to the nature of ICT usages by Higher Education Teachers which has seen as an increasingly important factor for the successful integration of these technologies. This study aims to analyze the determining factors of the various uses of ICT by teachers in the university environment and to characterize their variety and intensity. For this end, we conducted a survey of a sample of 2,079 teachers from public universities in France. Our approach consisted in measuring the intensity of use of ICT in academia in order to appreciate the resulting digital divides between different groups of teachers. Multinomial logistic regression shows that the differences in the use of ICT are linked to the differences in initial digital skills between teachers. Furthermore, the training in ICT, age, gender and social context appear to have a manifold influence on ICT use. Our results clearly confirm the existence of digital  divides, it prompts us to analyze more precisely the role of innovative users and that   of first-time adopters when they appear to be actors involved in the diffusion of ICT within universities.

He decides the universitys function not only remains, but is more important than ever. This book will serve as an introduction to the relevance of his work for higher education in Africa for postgraduate students, reflective practitioners and researchers.

RESUMEN Esta investigación pretende indagar en la opinión que tienen las estudiantes de 4° año de la carrera de Educación Diferencial, en cuanto al desempeño profesional de la investigadora en diferentes ámbitos de la docencia, tales como la organización y estructura de la asignatura, es decir, si se evidencia suficiente dominio teórico y conceptual del tema que se desarrolla en la programación; si presenta una actitud mediadora para generar los propios aprendizajes de los estudiantes. Complementario a lo anterior, indagar si las estrategias de enseñanza son pertinentes a los aprendizajes esperados. Por último, saber si los procedimientos evaluativos son pertinentes y se enfocan a los aprendizajes que han alcanzado los estudiantes, y cuál es la percepción en torno a la interacción y clima que se genera dentro de las propias clases, y más allá del aula. Todo esto, con la finalidad de relacionarlo con prácticas pedagógicas innovadoras, como lo es la función tutorial del docente universitario, detectando aquellos puntos valorados y los no tan valorados para proyectar mejoras en aquellos aspectos que así lo requieran.Palabras clave: Competencias docentes, organización curricular, estrategias de enseñanza, procedimientos de evaluación.Relationship between opinions about University teaching and the mentoring role of the University teacher ABSTRACT This research aims to researching opinions that Fourth-year students of Special Education have regarding to the professional performance of the researcher in different teaching fields such as organization and structure of a course, that is to say, whether there is evident sufficient theoretical and conceptual mastery of the subject, whether there is a mediating attitude to generate learning in students. Complementary to that, the paper is aimed to reviewing whether teaching strategies are relevant to the learning objectives. Finally, it seeks to know whether the evaluation procedures are relevant and focused on learning students have achieved, and what would be the perception around interactions and climates generated in the classroom and beyond. Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar reflexões sobre os processos de ensino e aprendizagem no ensino de graduação, tendo em vista o significado que coordenadores de curso e docentes conferem ao papel de autores e atores da atividade docente em seu cotidiano, buscando substituir formas individualistas e solitárias de trabalho por processos compartilhados, construindo vínculos, expondo-se e deixando-se conhecer, posturas essas nem sempre presentes no contexto do Ensino Superior. Pensar a universidade como instituição educativa, colocando o ensino ao lado da pesquisa e da extensão, constitui-se um desafio para a docência — considerada atividade menos nobre na academia —, uma vez que se propõe ir além do domínio restrito de uma área do conhecimento, buscando desenvolver um saber pedagógico igualmente necessário ao fazer docente.   Palavras-chave: Docência universitária. Ensino de graduação.   This article aims to present reflections on the processes of teaching and learning in the graduate education, focusing on the meaning that course coordinators and teachers give to the role of authors and actors of the teaching activity in their daily routines, trying to substitute individual and solitary forms of work for shared processes, building bonds, exposing themselves and letting themselves known, postures which have not always been present in the higher education context. Considering the university as an educational institution, placing education next to research and extension, consists of a challenge for the teaching activity – considered the least noble activity in the university –, once it aims to go beyond the restricted domain of an area of knowledge, searching for the development of pedagogical knowledge equally necessary to the teaching activity.   Keywords: University teaching. This study examines the role of student co-creation behavior in contributing to student satisfaction, perceived university image, and student positive word of mouth (WOM). Using a sample of 513 students from a Taiwanese university and conducting partial least squares structural equation modeling, the findings indicate that co-creating value is critical to student satisfaction, university image, and positive WOM. The results also show the effect of student satisfaction and university image on student positive WOM. This study confirms the pivotal role of student participation in co-creating value in enhancing satisfaction with the university experience, creating and sustaining a positive image, and building the credibility of the university. This research is particularly important to higher education institutions because it has practical implications for decision-makers, brand managers, and HE marketers who wish to improve understanding of the relationship between the university and students in the process of co-creating value and its outcomes.

The current study aims to identify the role of financing higher education in Nigerian universities in the state of Kano and its impact on sustainable development. The study problem lies in the low funding of higher education in Nigerian universities, which will negatively affect the sustainability of higher education and sustainable development. The importance of the study is highlighted by highlighting the importance of financing higher education in Nigerian universities and the sources of obtaining this funding as one of the most important factors through which students can complete their studies. The study followed the qualitative approach with the aim of obtaining more accurate information about traditional higher education financing sources and its impact on the sustainability of education and achieving sustainable development. The study population reached the number of three Nigerian universities, which are a governmental, federal and private university, to learn about the impact of financing higher education in Nigerian universities on sustainable development. The sample of the study was about three out of five of those responsible for financing higher education in Nigerian universities. Also, the study followed unstructured or open interviews in order to obtain more information about financing higher education and whether or not it is suitable for the idea of a monetary endowment. The results of the study showed that the sources of financing for higher education in traditional Nigerian universities are varied, including what can be obtained through the endowment and donations fund that can be made through community initiatives, and the results of the study also indicated that the idea of a monetary endowment faces great challenges in its application, so the idea is subject to acceptance and rejection. According to the nature of the university and the nature of the subjects taught. The study recommended the necessity of expanding the study of the impact of financing higher education in Nigerian universities by expanding the scope of study to include all Nigerian states.

The relevance of the problems of cooperative construction in the formation of Belarusian scientific schools is determined. The role of the Belarusian State University in the development of problems of cooperation in the 1920s is characterised. The activity of S. L. Pevsner as a representative of the economic thought of the 1920s is studied. In the perspective of «history through personality», the problems of the formation of the personnel potential of Belarusian State University are revealed. The relations between the management and the teaching staff of the university, the status and issues of material well-being of teachers invited to Belarusian State University are characterised. The conclusion is made about a significant personnel shortage and the presence of serious competition in the personnel sphere of university science in the 1920s with the development of higher education in the USSR.

This study aims to show the importance of evaluating the teaching performance level of the University teaching members. It also aims to provide the suggested mechanisms for evaluating the teaching performance of the teaching staff members of Sebha University. This study was based mainly on documents and analytic description to collect information about the importance and ways of evaluating teachers with reference to some of the international experiences on teaching performance development. This study concluded that the absence of an experienced entity that would develop the teaching performance of faculty members is one of the main reasons for the weak teaching performance at Sebha University. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that there should be a planned system based on measured standards and criteria for evaluating staff members to improve the quality of teaching in the higher education domain.

Linking the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to be managed by the Minister of Education alone. The Ministry is keen on the funds of the Iraqi people and contributes to the development of the industrial and commercial sectors with the help of professors and university students. 3 - the need to match the needs of the market and education outputs to reduce unemployment, in addition to the vocational education has become an urgent need at this stage to keep pace with the needs of life in society away from the negative view of this education. 4 - Increasing the number of technical workshops and providing them with the means of material in order to provide the university student maximum desired learning. Enhancing the role of higher education in building a broader partnership and cooperation with various other community institutions (public, private and private sector). 6 - Re-admission plan in universities by making the number of admissions in scientific colleges more than the number of admissions in the humanitarian colleges. 7 - Attracting foreign investment companies to invest natural resources in Iraq such as phosphate, natural gas, oil, oil shale, uranium, silica and geothermal energy for the recovery of the economy and the trend towards domestic consumption.
