Aim of study: The first purpose of the present study was to investigate the level of recall of the adverting campaign promoting the new lamb meat cuts. The second objective was to investigate which promotion tools are more important to consumers and retailers.Area of study: This study took place in the city of Zaragoza, where lamb meat promotional activities have been conducted at three different levels: generic promotion of the sector, Regulatory Council of Ternasco de Aragón promotion campaign and producer brand promotion.Material and methods: Data was collected through personal questionnaires (401 consumers and 55 retailers).Main results: Results suggest that the promotion campaign has not contributed as much as expected to spread the knowledge of the new lamb cuts among consumers. Both consumers and retailers attached more importance to in-store marketing promotional tools. Three consumers segments were identified based on promotion tools preferences. Comparing between consumers and butchers’ opinion the only significant difference was found in using internet and social network as a promotional tool.Research highlights: A general trend has been observed since the majority of consumers and retailers consider that the most important promotions tools are those conducted inside the point of sale. On the view of these results, it could be better for future campaigns to increase promotional effort inside the point of sale, where consumers make their final purchase choice.

This study was carried out to examine the role of self-efficacy and social networks on entrepreneurial intention among polytechnic students in Ile - Ife Osun state, Nigeria. Theory of Reasoned action was used as a theoretical framework for this study. A survey design was adopted. The data for this study was collected in 2018 via a purposive sampling technique, where 240 students (81 females and 159 males) with age range of 21–35 years (M = 23.61, SD = 2.63) were selected from one polytechnic. Inferential statistics (t-test for independent measure) was used to test the hypotheses in this study. Result showed that there was significant difference between entrepreneurial intention of polytechnic students with low self-efficacy and high self-efficacy. There was significant difference between entrepreneurial intention of polytechnic students with low social network and high social network. Therefore, to improve entrepreneurial intention among polytechnic students, psychologists should organize psycho-educational interventions aim at increasing self-efficacy and social networks of polytechnic students.

The aim of this study was to determine the perceptions of bicyclists to promote the use of bicycles in the cities. The sample was selected using simple random sampling method. A total of 1087 bicyclists, including 178 women and 909 men, who used bicycles in their everyday lives in the city, voluntarily participated in the research. The study was a descriptive research in the survey model and quantitative research approach was adopted in the research. Data were collected with “Bike Use Dissemination Scale” developed by Çeyiz (2019). The scale consists of two parts; a personal information form and expressions of participants’ dissemination of bicycle use. The t-test was used for the variables consisting of the bipartite groups and the One-Way ANOVA was used for the variables consisting of more than two groups. According to the data obtained from the bicyclists participating in the survey, there was a significant difference in the dimensions of security and dissemination by gender. It was found that women bicyclists’ safety perceptions were more negative than men’s perception; and their perceptions of the spreading dimension were more positive than the male bicyclists.

This contribution presents the methodologies and the results of an action-research project called Teencarto carried out by the University of Turin and the City of Turin. The project involved more than 600 teenagers from 16 high schools, in a massive process of community mapping aiming at producing a representation of their urban geography. Data collected has been analyzed to make evident the way teenagers use the city as well as how they imagine a better city. The mapping process is based on First Life, a map-based social network, which aims at reconnecting digital and real spaces, using cartographic representations and crowdsourcing. The teenagers' geographies emerging from this large-scale mapping activity reveal the crucial role of four types of “piazza” (Italian word for square) as meeting points: real squares, green squares, commercial hybrid squares, and nightlife squares.

Abstract A field experiment was carried out in the second agricultural station of the College of Agriculture - University of Al-Muthanna in the Al Bandar area (2 km from the city center), during the season (2020-2021) to know the effect of different levels of potassium fertilizer coated and are K0 (without addition), K1 (30 kg.K.H−1), K2 (60 kg.K.H−1), K3 (90 kg.K.H−1) and K4 (120 kg.K.H−1 without coated) On the vesponse of the genotypes of the wheat (Iksad 59, Iranian, Iksad 901, Iksad 133 and Boohooth 22), According to what the process requires of printing to arrange the splinter panels using a design R.C.B.D and three repetitions, As the potash fertilizer treatments were placed in the main panels (Main-plots) While the genotypes were placed in the secondary plates (Sub-plot). The results showed a significant difference between the genotypes in the traits studied as the Iksad 133 genotype superior in the biological yield, while the Iranian genotype was superior in the weight of 1,000 seeds and the harvest index, and as response to potassium fertilizer, The coated treatment has outperformed 30 kg.K.H− 1 The No. grains spike−1 and the weight 1000 seeds. It also excelled in the seed yield, vital yield and harvest index, which averaged reached 8.03 tons H−1 and 18.33 tons H−1 and 43.98 % respectively, while the coated treatment supertor 90 kg.K.H− 1 significantly in the No. of fertile spikes. M2. As for the interaction between the two factors, the combination (Iksad 133 x K3) was superior in the No. of fertile spikes, and the combination (Iksad 59 x K4) in the No. of spike grains, while the two combinations superior (Boohooth 22 x K1) and (Iksad 133 x K1) in grain yield, which averaged 9.11 and 9.06 tons ha−1 respectively, and the combination (Iksad 133 x K1) was superior in bio-it give high mea reached 21.27 tons.ha−1, The combination (Iranian × K2) was superior in the harvest index, It reached 48.75%.

Technology plays a crucial role in the self-guided learning of a second language in general and English in particular. Nevertheless, many students in different contexts still ignore the application of technology-enhanced language learning (TELL) tools in enhancing their foreign language proficiency. Therefore, this study is conducted to investigate the attitudes towards the use of TELL tools in English-language learning (ELL) among English majors at one university in Vietnam. To collect data, 197 English majors participated in finishing the questionnaire, and 20 students were invited to join the interviews. The findings are that the majority of students have positive attitudes towards the use of TELL tools and the frequency of using these tools is very high. In addition, the results also reveal that there is no significant difference in attitudes towards and frequency of using TELL tools in learning English in terms of the year of study. However, students of different levels of academic achievements have different attitudes towards using TELL tools and use TELL tools to learn English differently.
