The quality of education in Indonesia in general is still far from what was expected, the 2018 PISA score for Indonesia is ranked 72nd among 77 countries. The quality of education is identical to the maximum processed output. At MTs Negeri 1 Kediri in 2019, one of its students received the highest UNBK scores for SMP and MTs in Kediri Regency. The principal is one of the important factors in improving the quality of education in his school and one of the competences of the principal is as a supervisor. The problems studied were the principal's efforts to improve the quality of education, and the principal's techniques in carrying out supervision in an effort to improve the quality of education at MTs Negeri 1 Kediri. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity test used was to increase the persistence of observations and data triangulation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the research, the efforts made by the principal included the formulation of a madrasah vision and mission, a solid team, developing the knowledge of educators, integrating curriculum, facilitating student interests and talents, realization of literacy programs, and maximizing information technology. While the techniques used in improving the quality of education include individual supervision techniques in the form of class visits and observations, individual meetings, and self-assessment. Also group supervision techniques in the form of teacher orientation, teacher meetings, discussions, workshops, exchange of experiences.

This study aims to determine the principal's leadership in improving the quality of SMP IT Nurul Fadhillah, the constraints of the principal's leadership in improving the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah, and the principal's efforts to improve the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and the techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Ensuring the validity of research data uses credibility, transfibility, dependability and conformability. The results of this research are the principal's leadership in improving the quality of education by caring for subordinates, assertiveness, democracy, and supervision. The obstacles faced by school principals in improving the quality of schools are the lack of educational facilities and infrastructure. As for the efforts made by the principal in improving the quality of education, namely developing teacher competence, meeting the needs of school stakeholders and getting used to working together in overcoming problems.

The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to improve the professionalism of PAUD teachers in improving the quality of Harapan Bangsa City PAUD education. Qualitative descriptive research method, while data collection techniques are based on observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis techniques are based on data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. PAUD institutional constraints include educational qualifications, experience, infrastructure, managers, welfare. Efforts to improve the professionalism of PAUD teachers by providing scholarships, workshops, seminars, adequate facilities, and infrastructure, as well as maintaining smooth communication with both foundations, teachers, and parents.Keywords: Professionalism, PAUD Teachers, Quality of Education Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan profesionalitas guru PAUD dalam meningkatan mutu pendidikan PAUD Harapan Bangsa Kota Padang. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, sementara teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data berdasarkan pada reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Kendala lembaga PAUD di antaranya kualifikasi pendidikan, pengalaman, sarana prasarana, pengelola, kesejahteraan. Upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru PAUD dengan memberikan beasiswa, workshop, seminar, fasilitas sarana prasarana yang memadai, serta tetap menjaga lancarnya komunikasi baik dengan pihak yayasan, guru, dan orang tua. Kata Kunci: Profesionalitas, Guru PAUD, Mutu Pendidikan.

This study aimed at determining the role of teachers and principals in improving the quality of learning in elementary school of Pulau Rimau. The sample in this study were 40 teachers from Pulau Rimau. The data were collected using 1) interviews, 2) observations, and 3) documentation. Research data analysis techniques include 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) data verification. The results showed that teachers and principals have a role in improving the quality of education of SD Negeri in Pulau Rimau.

This study will be discussed related to the professionalism of teachers after certification, the efforts made to develop the professionalism of teachers, and the impact of certification policy on the quality of education. This research subject is accounting certified teacher with a population of 7 informants, and informants are the principal supporter and 3 learners. This research method is a descriptive qualitative approach, with this type of case studies. Collecting data using the model interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques to 1) Data collection 2) reduction of data 3) data presentation 4) conclusion / verification. The results showed that 1) accounting certified teachers have a good level of professionalism. The teacher can understand the characteristics of students, mastering both subject areas of a scientific or educational field, is able to organize teaching well, mastering the material in depth, mastering the technology and professionalism are able to develop in a sustainable manner. 2) the efforts of teachers to develop professionalism is with workshops, seminars, training, training, writing books, looking for a new regulation, to follow the teacher association continues studies to improve the qualifications and buy gadgets as supporting tools in learning. 3) certification of a positive impact on the quality of education. It is suggested that could be given to teachers, namely that the purpose of the certification is not to get professional allowance alone, but that teachers can master the competence of teachers well and make teachers more professional in carrying out his profession. Professional allowances simply as a consequence of this capability.

This study aims to determine the management of education financing in relation to efforts to improve the quality of education. This research is focused on the managerial head of the Aliyah Imam Muslim madrasah, Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research uses qualitative methods based on descriptive studies. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman model stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity test used triangulation and member crosscheck. The results showed that the management of education financing at Madrasah Aliyah Imam Muslim Serdang Bedagai Regency has a family principle, is effective, efficient, productive, transparent and can be accounted for in accordance with existing procedures, namely the upward hierarchical pattern to the Chairman of the Foundation. In improving the quality of education, the principal is in charge of managing education as best as possible and reporting the draft budget for school financing is given to the Head of the Foundation, the head of madrasah also has the task of how to improve the quality of education in Madrasahs by coordinating every activity with peers in order to realize the quality of education through education financing management

<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Neste artigo, analisamos a autoavaliação institucional que integra o Sistema de Avaliação da Educação de Niterói (Saen), estado do Rio de Janeiro. O objetivo é discutir seu processo de constituição num contexto de centralidade das políticas de avaliação, defendendo essa como possibilidade de produção de políticas pelas escolas, como produção de sentidos de avaliação para além da lógica de accountability, colocando outros sentidos de qualidade em disputa. A partir de aportes pós-estruturais, assumimos o entendimento da política como luta pela significação, que se dá entre tensões, negociações, traduções. The aim is to discuss its constitution process in a context of centrality of evaluation policies, supporting it as a possibility for the schools to produce policies as production of meanings of evaluation beyond the logic of accountability, putting other meanings of quality in dispute. From post-structural contributions, we assume the understanding of the policies as the struggle for meaning, which occurs between tensions, negotiations, and translations. This study aims to determine and describe the relationship between financing management and the quality of diniyah education in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah in the Bandung Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique is done by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) and documentation with a sample of 37 people. The data analysis techniques used are research instrument trials, partial analysis, correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination (contribution) analysis. The results showed that the achievement of financing management and the quality of diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah education in Bandung Regency showed a significant relationship between financing management and the quality of diniyah education. The linearity test of financing management (X) and the quality of diniyah education (Y) obtained a value of F = 1.611 with a significance level of 0.218, so it can be interpreted that it has a positive and significant linear relationship. This study has implications for the importance of effective financing management in improving the quality of madrasah.

AbstractHabanera, one of the most famous songs in Opera Carmen, tells the love life of Carmen as the main role. Interestingly, the song Habanera was sung by an Indonesian mezzo-soprano singer from Bali, Heny Janawati, who has perform the Opera Carmen while singing in Europe and Indonesia with different interpretations and performance of song Habanera. The purpose of this study was to analyze the interpretation and performance form of the Habanera Opera Carmen song when it was performed in Jakarta in 2016 in order to become a knowledge. This research process used qualitative methods. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentations. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. As for the data validity test used triangulation. The results of this study indicate that Heny Janawati has characteristics to interpret this song through out the structure, tempo, dynamics, and intonation of this song. That she present in Opera Carmen are more modern from it's europe counterpart, which in Europe its characteristics, number of accompaniments, dimensions of the setting, lighting and wardrobe are more traditional.

This research aims to analyze the strategy of leaders in improving the quality of education in Zulhijjah Muara Bulian boarding school. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and verification. The results showed kiai has four roles, in improving the quality of education, namely educators, administrators, managers, and supervisors. Improving the quality of education is done by pursuing the welfare of teachers and contributing thought to the progress of the region and able to become cadres of scholars who will lead the ummah in the future by maintaining educational inputs, processes, and outputs.

Abstraksi   Masyarakat Sumbawa dikenal sebagai masyarakat yang heterogen, karena dihuni oleh penduduk dari berbagai suku, etnis, bahasa dan agama dengan konsekuensi terhadap pembawaan adat-istiadat serta sistem hidup yang berbeda-beda. Kondisi ini adalah salah satu modal utama yang jika disalahgunakan akan bisa berdampak negatif dengan munculnya sentimen-sentimen dan konflik komunal yang bisa merusak sistem kehidupan bermasyarakat. Proses mediasi, arbitrasi dan negosiasi adalah salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan  dalam meresolusi konflik selama ini. Sedangkan masih banyak metode atau pendekatan lain yang dirasa cukup efektif dan kadang terlupakan dalam pendekatan pencegahan dan resolusi konflik yaitu melalui pendekatan Kecerdasan Budaya.Sehingga riset ini, mencoba mengangkat masalah urgensi kecerdasan budaya dalam mencegah dan meresolusi konflik. Adapun masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1).Faktor-faktor apa saja yang bisa menyebabkan terjadinya konflik dalam masyarakat?, 2). Siapa saja yang berperan sebagai struktural, akselerator dan pemakin atau trigger dalam konflik tersebut?, 3). Pendekatan apa saja yang selama ini digunakan dalam upaya mencegah dan menyelesaikan konflik dalam masyarakat oleh pemerintah?, 4). Mengapa kecerdasan budaya sangat penting dalam mencegah dan menyelesaikan konflik tersebut? Metode riset yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif.Dengan tujuan agar pengungkapan fenomena di lokasi penelitian secara leluasa memungkin untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal karena data tersebut valid dan dapat dipertanggung- jawabkan secara ilmiah dan rasional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ada  yaitu teknik observasi, interview dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dimulai dari proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan keabsahan datayang terdiri dari Derajat kepercayaan (credibility), Keteralihan (transferability), Ketergantungan (dependability), dan Kepastian (comfirmability). Hasil penelitian, bahwa Terjadinya konflik di Kabupaten Sumbawa disebabkan karena adanya faktor Struktural, Akselerator dan Trigger (SAT) konflik, misalnya seperti: masih ada dan kuatnya Political Memory dalam Masyarakat. Serta pentingnya Kecerdasan Budaya dalam mencegah dan menyelesaikan konflik, karena semua aspek-aspek yang ada dalam Kecerdasan Budaya seperti: Pengetahuan, Strategi, Motivasi dan Perilaku ternyata memiliki relevansi dan kemampuan untuk mendorong dan menciptakan suasana yang aman, damai dan harmonis dalam masyarakat sepanjang masyarakat bisa dan mampu menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Budaya, Pencegahan, Resolusi, Konflik   The Sumbawa community is known as a heterogeneous society, inhabited by people of various ethnic, ethnic, linguistic and religious backgrounds with consequences for different customs and systems of life. This condition is one of the main capital that if misused will be able to negatively impact the emergence of sentiments and communal conflicts that can damage the system of social life. The process of mediation, arbitration and negotiation is one of the approaches used in resolving conflicts over the years. While there are many other methods or approaches that are considered quite effective and sometimes forgotten in the approach of prevention and conflict resolution is through the approach of Cultural Intelligence. So this research, trying to raise the urgency issue of the cultural intelligence in preventing and resolving the conflict. The problems raised in this study are: 1). What factors can cause conflict in society ?, 2). Who actor that acts as a structural, accelerator and trigger or trigger in the conflict ?, 3). What approaches have been used in preventing and resolving the conflict in society by the government ?, 4). Why is cultural intelligence so important in preventing and resolving the conflict? The research method in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The aim of this research that the disclosure of the phenomenon in the research location freely possible to get maximum results because the data is valid and can be accounted scientifically and rationally.Data collection techniques that is used in this research are techniques of observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques start from the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data validity consisting of credibility, transferability, dependability and comfirmability. The result of the research, that the occurrence of conflict in Sumbawa Regency caused by Structural factor, Accelerator and Trigger (SAT) conflict, for example: there is still and strong Political Memory in Society. As well as the importance of Cultural Intelligence in preventing and resolving of conflicts, as all aspects of Cultural Intelligence such as: Knowledge, Strategy, Motivation and Behavior have the relevance and ability to encourage and create a safe, peaceful and harmonious atmosphere in society as long as society can and able to internalize these values ​​in everyday life.
