The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to improve the professionalism of PAUD teachers in improving the quality of Harapan Bangsa City PAUD education. Qualitative descriptive research method, while data collection techniques are based on observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis techniques are based on data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. PAUD institutional constraints include educational qualifications, experience, infrastructure, managers, welfare. Efforts to improve the professionalism of PAUD teachers by providing scholarships, workshops, seminars, adequate facilities, and infrastructure, as well as maintaining smooth communication with both foundations, teachers, and parents.Keywords: Professionalism, PAUD Teachers, Quality of Education Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan profesionalitas guru PAUD dalam meningkatan mutu pendidikan PAUD Harapan Bangsa Kota Padang. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, sementara teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data berdasarkan pada reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Kendala lembaga PAUD di antaranya kualifikasi pendidikan, pengalaman, sarana prasarana, pengelola, kesejahteraan. Upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru PAUD dengan memberikan beasiswa, workshop, seminar, fasilitas sarana prasarana yang memadai, serta tetap menjaga lancarnya komunikasi baik dengan pihak yayasan, guru, dan orang tua. Kata Kunci: Profesionalitas, Guru PAUD, Mutu Pendidikan.

Abstrak Nama adalah kata-kata yang menjadi identitas bagi benda, peristiwa, dan makhluk di dunia. Manusia hidup dalam relasi yang rumit dan beragam, untuk memudahkan penyebutan kemudian diberikan penamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis makna, jenis penamaan, dan komponen makna nama-nama makanan di sekitar kampus di Purwokerto. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan semantik. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah nama-nama makanan yang berjumlah 19 data. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah pembuat dan penjual makanan kaki lima di sekitar kampus di Purwokerto. Tahap penyedian data menggunakan teknik wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan, antara lain (1) pengumpulan data, (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) penarikan simpulan. Hasil dan pembahasaan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis makna yang ada dalam data adalah makna denotatif (5 data), makna konotatif (3 data), makna kontekstual (2 data), dan makna referensial (3 data). Jenis penamaan yang ditemukan adalah peniruan bunyi (1 data), penamaan sifat khas (2 data), penamaan tempat asal (1 data), penamaan bahan (1 data), penamaan keserupaan (1 data), penamaan pemendekan (1 data). Komponen makna yang ditemukan antara lain berdasarkan bahan yang digunakan, berdasarkan warna, berdasarkan bentuk, berdasarkan pembuatan, dan berdasarkan kemasan. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa penamaan makanan dapat ditelusuri dari tiga aspek, yaitu jenis, makna, dan komponen makanan dengan menerapkan pada aspek semantiknya. Kata kunci: nama makanan, makna, penamaan, sematik Abstract Names are words that become identities for things, events, and creatures in the world. Humans live in complex and diverse relationships, so that naming is given to facilitate the naming. This research aims to describe the types of meanings, types of naming, and components of the meaning of food names around the campus in Purwokerto. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. This research uses a semantic approach. The data in this research are 19 food names. The data source in this research is the maker and seller of street food around the campus in Purwokerto. Data collecting stage uses interview techniques. Data analysis techniques used include (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) drawing conclusions. The results and discussion of this research indicate that the types of meanings contained in the data are denotative meanings (5 data), connotative meanings (3 data), contextual meanings (2 data), and referential meanings (3 data). The types of naming found are mimicking sounds (1 data), naming unique traits (2 data), naming origin (1 data), naming material (1 data), similarity naming (1 data), naming shortening (1 data). The meaning components that are found are based on the material used, based on color, based on shape, based on manufacture, and based on packaging. Based on this analysis, it was concluded that the naming of food can be traced from three aspects, namely the type, meaning and component of food by applying to its semantic aspects. This paper discusses service-based leadership in Islamic schools. Leadership demands a transformation from the heart and changes in character. True leadership starts from within and then moves outside to serve those they lead. This is where the importance of the character and integrity of a leader to become a true leader and accepted by other people or parties. This research is a qualitative-descriptive research which is expected to be able to uncover various information with a careful and meaningful description-analysis. Data sources in this study include principals, staff, students. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The results of this research are (a) the principal's leadership has a variety of models that are extraordinary depending on the situation and conditions. (b) Service-based leadership is a new trend for achieving desired quality goals.

This paper discusses the management of Islamic Cultur through habituating Dhuha Prayers in Improving Student Discipline. Islamic Cultur is a practice of habituating Islamic values, one of which is the implementation of habituation in congregation. This culture is implemented and familiarized in order to improve student discipline. Prayer is a compulsory worship that must be performed by every Muslim. Prayer services will be able to keep the culprit from the heinous and unjust practices. Prayer is one of the worship services that has disciplinary implications for the culprit. This research belongs to the type of qualitative-descriptive research that is expected to be able to uncover various information with a careful and meaningful description-analysis. Sources of data in this study include the principal, student staff and staff and teachers of Islam. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The results of this research are (1) Management of Islamic Cultur held through habituation of Dhuha Berma’ah (2) Habituation of Dhuha prayer in congregation can improve student discipline.

This study determined the management competence of principals in improving the quality of education in SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive. Sources of data in this study were teachers who assisted in the learning process at SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Data collection techniques in this study include 1) interviews and 2) documentation. The data analysis used in this study were 1) data reduction, 2) display or presentation of data and 3) conclusions and data verification. The results showed that the management competence of the principal in improving the quality of education in Lais District was good. This paper contributes to upgrade the principal’s management competence in order to improve the quality of education.

Family is very important in child education. The problem formula in this study is (1) How is the behaviour of children in the family? (2) What kind of factors affects the child's crisis of morality in the family? The purpose of the study is (1) to find out how child behaviour in the family is. This study aims to determine the public relations strategy of Makassar State University in increasing the positive image of Makassar State University in the community. To find out these objectives, the researchers used a type of qualitative descriptive research. The informants in this study were as many as five people using data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from research results are processed using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Public Relations devised a strategy so that the function could run in accordance with the objectives of Makassar State University, among others, trying to create a conducive climate between institutions and the public in order to do persuasive and educative approaches to the public, trying to create two-way communication by disseminating information from institutions to public parties. educate and provide information, in order to create mutual understanding, respect, understanding and also strive to foster harmonious relations between organizations and various groups, both in and out relations to enhance cooperation. Public Relations seeks to socialize the Makassar State University mission to be accepted or received support from the public / public.

Tengger tribe has a dish that is served on special occasions ceremony. The special occasion ceremony held by the Tengger tribe is inseparable from the culture and Hindus’s religion which is the majority religion of the Tengger tribe. Argosari Village is one of the villages that still carries out all special occasion’s ceremonies related to custom and religion. This village is in Lumajang Regency. This research was using qualitative descriptive research, with data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data source was obtained from interviews with five informants are the Dukun Pandhita of Argosari village, Mangku village, and society’s Argosari. Data analysis is performed interactively with steps such as reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification and to check the validity of finding with member checking methode to Dukun Pandhita. The results of the research which is identifiying the special occasion dishes of Tengger tribe, there are 6 groupings dishes based on staple foods such as rice, side dishes such as omelette, fried chicken, fried noodles. Vegetable dishes include jangan benguk, jangan kentang. Snacks consist of pepes, pasung, jenang abang, apem, juadah, tetelan. The beverages such as tea and coffee. Dandananan such as gedhang ayu, pencok bakal. Masyarakat suku Tengger mempunyai hidangan yang disajikan pada upacara kesempatan khusus. Upacara kesempatan khusus yang dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat suku Tengger tidak terlepas dari kebudayaan dan agama Hindu yang merupakan agama mayoritas suku Tengger. Desa Argosari merupakan salah satu desa yang masih melaksanakan semua upacara kesempatan khusus yang berkaitan dengan adat maupun keagamaan, Desa ini terletak di Kabupaten Lumajang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber data diperoleh dari wawancara dengan lima informan yaitu Dukun Pandhita teraktif dengan langkah reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Pengecekan temuan dilaksanakan dengan member checking kepada Dukun Pandhita. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 6 pengelompokan hidangan yang disajikan pada kesempatan khusus, yaitu makanan pokok antara lain nasi, hidangan lauk pauk berupa telur dadar, ayam goreng. Hidangan sayuran antara lain jangan benguk, jangan kentang. Sedap-sedapan yang terbagi menjadi jajanan telesan berupa pepes, pasung, jenang abang, apem, juadah, tetelan dan jajanan garingan seperti matari

This research aims to analyze the strategy of leaders in improving the quality of education in Zulhijjah Muara Bulian boarding school. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and verification. The results showed kiai has four roles, in improving the quality of education, namely educators, administrators, managers, and supervisors. Improving the quality of education is done by pursuing the welfare of teachers and contributing thought to the progress of the region and able to become cadres of scholars who will lead the ummah in the future by maintaining educational inputs, processes, and outputs.

The objectives of this study are: (1) thematic learning planning in Raudhatul Athfal Rahmat Islamiyah Medan, (2) implementation of thematic learning in improving children's cognitive and language development in Raudhatul Athfal Rahmat Islamiyah Medan, (3) evaluation of thematic learning in Raudhatul Athfal Rahmat Islamiyah Medan , and (4) supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of thematic learning in Raudhatul Atfhal Rahmat Islamiyah Medan. This research method is qualitative conducted at Raudhatul Atfhal Rahmat Islamiyah Medan. Instrument data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The research findings show: (1) Thematic learning planning conducted by Raudhatul Atfhal Rahmat Islamiyah Medan teacher by preparing the learning implementation plan at the beginning of the semester by referring to the applicable Raudhatul Atfhal curriculum, (2) implementing thematic learning at Raudhatul Atfhal Rahmat Islamiyah The terrain is done with varied learning methods by using various kinds of games such as remembering names, achievement games, motion games, construction games and also playing roles, (3) evaluation of learning on thematic learning at Raudhatul Atfhal Rahmat Islamiyah Medan by giving a portfolio, in this case evaluated changes in behavior, children can also experience cognitive and language improvement after participating in the thematic learning process, and (4) there are supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of thematic learning but the obstacles can still be well addressed.

Walang Jati Kencono batik motif has been certified industrial design rights obtained by gunungkidul district government used as uniform fabric of school students from paud, elementary, junior high, and high school/ vocational school level that must be produced by the batik craftsman community in Gunungkidul. Walang Jati Kencono batik motif is also the uniform of officials in Gunungkidul Regency. Since the enactation of this motif into gunungkidul batik character continues to undergo changes and developments, both in shape, technique, and coloring results. The purpose of this research is to know the source of the idea of the form, and the development of batik walang in Gunungkidul seen from the beginning was created until now used by gunungkidul people even outside people who are interested in the motif of batik walang. Research uses qualitative descriptive methods, with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation techniques, then the research instruments are the researchers themselves assisted by observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. Validity of data with triangulation and persistence of observation, while data analysis techniques use the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results found from this study are: (1) Knowing the idea of the shape and development of Walang Jati Kencono batik motifs that are programmed as a characteristic uniform for students in Gunungkidul and strengthening local batik in order to drive the growth and empowerment of batik industry in Gunungkidul.  Keywords: Batik, Motif  Walang Jati Kencono, Gunungkidul, Craftsman
