Abstract This study aims to analyze and illustrate the leadership role of the madrasa head in improving teacher performance in MIS Asy Syarifiyah, Cikampek District, Karawang Regency. The study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection is done by using methods a) observation, b) interviews and c) documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the headmaster of the madrasa uses a democratic leadership style and has performed its role as a madrasa leader in improving teacher performance by making plans and implementation through coaching and development. So that between leadership and planning styles as well as the implementation of the headmaster has a causal relationship or cause and effect that makes the teacher as a professional educator to realize the objectives of the madrasah better. The background of this research stems from the interest of researchers about the importance of the role of principal leadership in strengthening character education. This study aims to determine the type, role, and implementation of the character education strengthening program at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research taking place at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection are done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by transcript, coding, comparing and contrasting. Checking the validity of the data by means of triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques, and triangulation of time. The results showed that: (1) the type of leadership applied by the principal is a type of democratic leadership where the principal always provides encouragement, motivation and innovation for teachers, employees and students to continue to excel and continue working. (2) The implementation of the character education strengthening program using the habituation and culture methods of 5S (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Polite, and Polite) character education strengthening programs are supported by school members so that the program has been implemented optimally. (3) the principal acts as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and as a motivator.

The role of Islamic values in an institution properly and correctly will influence people's decisions to become members of the institution. This study aims to analyze the role and implications of Islamic values of the members of the KSU SWM Malang city, in improving the existence of the institution. The method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study were several traders of the Dinoyo traditional market in Malang city, the chairman of the SWM cooperative management and the manager of the SWM cooperative. The results of the study found that the Islamic value of the members of the SWM cooperative was shown in the form of solidarity / teamwork, sincerity and trust in the good performance of the management, as well as the KSU-SWM manager.

Abstract: Financial institutions have a role as intermediary institutions or a process of transferring funds from savers to borrowers or those who need funds. The role of financial institutions is very large in the growth and development of the community's economy. Currently, non-bank financial institutions also have the influence to develop the businesses of the surrounding community that cannot be reached by banks. One of them is in the Sharia Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSPPS) Kramat, which provides financing with rahn products. Researchers conducted research on the implementation of rahn products and strengthening the business of members in KSPPS Kramat. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Rahn products and to determine the effect of Rahn financing in increasing income and strengthening businesses that were built or even being run by members. The research conducted at KSPPS Kramat uses qualitative research methods, by interviewing several members of KSPPS Kramat and their administrators. While the data collection techniques carried out by researchers are interviews, documentation and observation. In this study the researchers found several things. In the application of the Rahn product at KSPPS Kramat using a sale and purchase agreement, but it does not take advantage of the goods that are pawned and the application for financing is also easy. With the financing of rahn products, businesses around the village of Jatiarjo have increased, this is because the installments at KSPPS Kramat do not have usury. And the monthly installments are quite light, making it easier for the community to pay off the proposed financing. Keywords: KSPPS, Rahn Products, Income Increase.

The phenomenon of early marriage is a problem that often occurs and is considered normal by adolescents in Central Bengkulu district which is included in the category of the top three cases of early marriage in Bengkulu province in 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the self-concept of teenagers marrying young with peers in Kertapati village. Homecoming. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used is William Brooks (2017: 108), namely the factors that influence a person's self-concept. The results of the study show that the self-concept of adolescents who marry young with their peers is formed through their first view of themselves which assumes that they are ready to marry even though they are still young, this is evidenced by changes in attitudes that adjust their roles and status as married. Second, reactions and responses from other people can shape the self-concept of young married couples developing through the interaction of married couples with the community. The self-concept is formed from the learning process by understanding the reactions and responses of neighbors, village heads and BMA leaders so that married couples participate in socializing and participating in society. Third, the self-concept of young married couples formed from their roles as husband and wife in the household has an influence in the formation of a positive self-concept, this is also influenced by the role of parents, peers and the environment. So at first the self-concept of teenagers marrying young with peers is a negative self-concept, but it develops after marriage into a positive self-concept because they are able to solve their own problems and have participated in their environment.

The performance of teachers is one of the success factors of the school. Advance and retreat of school are determined by the performance of individual teachers in the school. In improving the teacher’s performance, it takes the role of the principal is using his leadership style. Principal’s who use the democratic leadership style is open so that it can improve the performance of teachers and the achievement of objectives together. The principal’s democratic leadership style is thought to influence the teacher’s performance. This study aims to determine the effect of the influence of the principal’s democratic leadership style on the teacher’s performance of PAUD in Anyar, Serang-Banten. This research uses the Ex Post Facto method. Data collection techniques for variables the principal's democratic leadership style and teacher performance of PAUD using a questionnaire (questionnaire), which is given to 17 teacher respondents in Anyar, Serang-Banten Data analysis technique using product moment Pearson correlation analysis, Based on the results of research shows the correlation coefficient between variables the principal democratic leadership style on teacher performance of 0.627 means there is an influence between the influence principal's democratic leadership on the teachers performance of PAUD Anyar, Serang-Banten.

The purpose of the research is to describe the leadership of madrasah headmaster to improve teacher performance. This research method uses qualitative methods and the research subjects are madrasah school principals and teachers. Data collection is done with interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis uses miles & Huberman analysis models with the sequence of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. This research shows (1). The importance of the leadership role of the madrasah headmaster to improving teacher performance through a teacher's professional improvement by attending a seminar, subject teachers' deliberations (MGMP)  (2). The leadership of the madrasah school principal in creating a conducive cultural climate of madrasah school which encourages teachers in teaching students to improve their character and moral of the learners.

<p><em>Waqf has a function of worship activities, namely by holding our assets to be used in the way of Allah SWT which gives rewards throughout the ages will also have a social function which after the principal of the property is withheld, developed then after being developed will provide results that can be used by the people. This research aims to provide education about the role of waqf in development as well as how the role of waqf for the welfare of the people. This research uses qualitative research methods, data collection techniques using secondary data and using literature study. The results of this study show that waqf has an important role in providing the welfare of the people and waqf also has an important role in developing the country, this is evidenced by the role of waqf in the fields of education, health, economy and finance, technology and agriculture, where these fields are the pillars of development national.</em></p>

This research aims to describe the headmaster’s leadership style at SD/MI (Primary School) Muhammadiyah in Banyumas Regency. This is a descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this research are headmasters and teachers at SD/MI Muhammadiyah in Banyumas Regency, namely MI Muhammadiyah Wangon, SD Muhammadiyah Cipete, and MI Muhammadiyah Pasirmuncang. Data collection technique used in this research is interview. Data validity is checked using technique of source triangulation. The findings show that the leadership style implemented by headmasters at SD/MI Muhammadiyah in Banyumas Regency is a democratic leadership style. This is shown in the way the headmasters carry out their leadership function. For example, as a leader, the headmaster gives information, evaluation, motivation, and innovation for school development, runs situational and non-authoritarian leadership, behaves wisely, and gives directions, examples, as well as rewards. The headmaster always prioritizes a sense of unity and togetherness with the school community. The headmaster uses a strategy of getting close to the community. In dealing with problems, the headmaster solves them calmly and gracefully and discusses them in deliberations in accordance with the development of the problem, and after the decision the problem can be resolved properly. Moreover, the school principal is open to accepting opinions, criticisms and suggestions from staffs.

This study discusses the Leadership Style in Improving Management Ethics at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City. This research uses qualitative research. The methods used in data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The author found that the leadership style in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City was a Democratic Leadership Style. Management Ethics at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City is also running well, this can be seen from its terminal value, namely vision, and its instrumental value, namely mission and always applying positive values such as service orientation, integrity, commitment, discipline, and cooperation. With the existence of a Democratic Leadership Style, Management Ethics will automatically be good so that the vision and mission of the madrasah will be achieved effectively and efficiently. The results of this paper suggest that the head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City continues to strive and maintain a Democratic Leadership Style and teachers and administrative staff to always apply service-oriented values, integrity, commitment, discipline and work together in achieving the vision and mission and the destination of MAN 1 Jambi City.

Efectiveness of Sub-District Expansion in Improving Development. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of sub-district expansion in increasing development in Central Insana District, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Expansion of Subdistricts in Central Insana Subdistrict has been regulated in the Regional Regulation of North Central Timor Number 8 of 2007 with the aim of equitable development, optimizing the implementation of governance and shortening the range  of control of empowerment and community development services and accommodating aspirations that develop in the community. After 12 years running, the District Expansion policy has not shown a positive impact on the community, especially the development aspect. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and observation. The results showed that the policy of sub-district expansion in increasing development in Central Insana District was not yet effective, because of the weak role of the sub-district in providing services to the community. Budget limitations, inadequate transportation facilities and infrastructure and damaged road conditions, and a lack of active community participation in supporting the implementation of development in Central Insana Subdistrict, are classic reasons.
