According to the results from OECD countries, the position of the tourism sector in Slovakia has been unfavourable for a long time. Tourism in Slovakia is managed in a decentralized way, which is legally and financially supported in certain forms. Support is largely conditional on cooperation. Such an example is the support of the creation and activities of regional tourism organizations. In this paper, we will examine the economic significance and justification of cooperation among entities that are members of regional tourism organizations, by determining the relationship between the number of these organizations and the amount of revenue divided into four categories at the regional level. In this work we used multiple regression and correlation analysis. Based on their results, we identified the performance of companies according to the categories of achieved revenues. The results suggest that the most productive companies are companies with revenues ranging from 100000-500000 Euros per year. The paper also offers a framework of questions for further research related to sector governance, as well as an awareness of the importance and significance of cooperation.

The aim of this study is to determine whether relationship occurs between organizational commitment and organizational cynicism attitudes among employees who were employed in five and four star hotels located in Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey and to affirm the extent of the relationship. According to the findings, there is a significant (negative) relationship between three sub-dimensions of organizational cynicism (behavioral cynicism, affective cynicism and cognitive cynicism) and organizational commitment. Multiple regression and correlation analysis were applied to analyze data and identify the relationship between organizational commitment and organizational cynicism. According to the findings of the research, it is revealed that, as the level of organizational cynicism arises, attitudes toward organizational commitment decrease. Those results are consistent with findings of the previous studies that employees with cynical attitudes exhibited lower commitment in the organization. The results of this research showed that hotel employees mostly experience cognitive cynicism among sub-dimensions of cynicism and they rarely experience affective cynicism. In conclusion, it is possible to assert that employees were with medium level of organizational cynicism and organizational commitment.

Gender equality corrresponds to equal rights and opportunities of individuals based on their gender. However, gender inequality refers mostly  lack of women’s  economic and political empowerment. Socially constructed different gender roles can be observed mostly in daily life.  Gender inequality  which can be perceived as an important social dynamic affects the happiness of individuals and hence  happiness of society. In this study, the relationship between the sub indicators of Gender Inequality Index and Happines Index for OECD countries have been investigated using canonical correlation analysis based on both pearson correlation matrix and  MM  covariance estimator. As is known, canonical correlation analysis explores the relationships between two multivariate sets of variables. Findings indicate that there is a strong correlation between Gender Inequality Index and Happines Index.

The relationship between Airbnb-based and traditional accommodation is mainly documented for key tourist destinations with a large tourism sector, while there is almost no evidence on this for other destinations. This article focuses on regional variations in the relationship between Airbnb-based and traditional accommodation across primary and secondary tourist destinations in Norway. Through an exploratory cluster analysis and a panel vector autoregressive (PVAR) model with forecast error decomposition of shocks (unobserved effects), it finds evidence of spillovers from Airbnb-based accommodation to traditional accommodation in secondary destinations. The demand for traditional accommodation is positively affected by Airbnb demand in the long run. Interestingly, a smaller effect is found with the supply-side of regional tourism markets in the Norwegian secondary tourist destinations. The growth of Airbnb may, thus, spur growth in the general tourism sector in such less frequented destinations.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between religiosity and social support with happiness among perpetrators of religious conversion. The data was collected from 60 participants who had experienced with religious conversion (muallaf) in Chinese Community. The participants were between 40 and 55 years of age. Data of this study was analysed by using a multiple regression analysisThe results of multiple regression analysis showed F = 20,060 with p = 0, 00 (p < 0, 01), it was revealed that religiosity and social support were found to be highly significant with happiness. Therefore, the result of this study indicated that hypothesis that there is any relationship between religiosity and social support with happiness was accepted. The results of partial correlation analysis were; (1) there was positive correlation between religiosity and happiness (r partial = 0,473, t = 4,056, with p = 0,000 (p<0,01)). It means,by increasing the religiosity, the happiness among perpetrators of religious conversion also will increase and (2) there was no any correlation between social support and happiness among perpetrators of religious conversion(r partial = 0,221 t = 1,715,with p = . 0,092 (p>0, 05)).

At present, at a time of incoming recession in the global and domestic economy, wages are an important tool in the labor market. The paper aims to analyze the development of average and minimum wages from the perspective of the Slovak Republic and its regions. At the same time, using correlation analysis, we analyze the relationship between wages and the educational structure of the region's population and registered unemployment in the region. The analyzes showed that average wages are constantly growing. The highest wage is in the Bratislava region, while in the Prešov region it was up to 38% lower. While in the Bratislava region the ratio of the minimum wage to the regional average wage was at the level of 38%, in the Prešov region it reached almost 62%. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, it can be stated that the impact of the monitored attributes on the average monthly wage varies from region to region. We observe the most significant differences for the Bratislava region in comparison with the remaining Slovak regions.

Data was gathered from Central Bureau of Statistics (Badan Pusat Statistik/BPS) and Ministry of Finance (Kementerian Keuangan/Kemenkeu). The data were analyzed using the multiple regression analysis after fulfilling all of the classical assumption tests. It showed that the inflation and interest rate have significant positive impact while tourism budget has insignificant negative impact on economic growth. In this case, monetary policy tends to be efficiently implemented at the level of promoting growth. However, Indonesia is still early on hoping significant contribution of tourism sector.
