The atmosphere over Lake Baikal covers a vast area (31,500 square meters) and has more significant differences in the composition and variability of gaseous and aerosol components in atmospheric air than in coastal continental areas and is still a poorly studied object. In recent years, the anthropogenic impact on the ecosystem of Lake Baikal has been increasing due to the development of industry in the region, the expansion of tourist infrastructure and recreational areas of the coastal zone of the lake. In addition, one of the significant sources of atmospheric pollution in the Baikal region is the emissions of smoke aerosol and trace gases from forest fires, the number of which is increasing in the region. This article presents the results of experimental studies of the dispersed composition of aerosols and gas impurities, such as ozone, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides during route ship measurements in the water area of Lake Baikal in the summer of 2020.

Metropolitan regions/areas are NUTS 3 regions or a combination of NUTS 3 regions which represent all agglomerations of at least 250,000 inhabitants (Eurostat, 2021). Oradea Metropolitan Area (NUTS3ID RO111) was established in 9th of May 2005 and has a total number of 251.570 inhabitants. The purpose of the association is to stimulate and support the growth and prosperity of the area, focused on the continuous increase of the quality of life. Besides the economic boost, OMA emerged from the need for space and leisure expressed by the core urbanites and although the periurban area is teeming with valuable cultural resources, the latter being the focus of the current study, they are little known by many of the Oradea residents. In this purpose the cultural attractions of the rural OMA were inventoried, analysed and stored in an online open-access database so that tourists can enjoy them and entrepreneurs in tourism can use them as focal points for further tourist infrastructure development. The analysis highlighted the OMA periurban area with the highest cultural attractions’ potential based on the National Methodology regarding the evaluation of the tourist potential in the basic administrative-territorial units.

The relevance of the article is conditioned on tourist infrastructure problems and underdevelopment when creating and developing territorial clusters, for which there is not enough research materials in the context of tourism cluster facilities construction, despite the fact that the issues of lean construction (LC) are widely covered. Based on the relevance, the main hypothesis of the study was determined. It consists of the fact that the use of lean construction can increase the efficiency of construction megaprojects in the field of tourism clusters. The objective of this study is to develop a mechanism for the development of tourism clusters based on the lean construction concept that will be aimed at increasing the efficiency of construction projects taking into account the accumulated world experience. Within the framework of the tasks set, the analysis of the lean construction methodological base was carried out, methodological recommendations aimed at increasing the efficiency of construction megaprojects of tourism clusters based on the lean construction concept were developed, a model for the implementation of lean construction in infrastructure projects of tourism clusters, as well as a checklist of the analysis technology were elaborated. The proposed methodological approach to the implementation of tourism cluster megaprojects based on the lean construction concept is the basis for organizing and planning development activities at the tactical and operational levels. To assess the effectiveness of lean construction tool introduction to implement infrastructure projects of tourism clusters, a comparative analysis was carried out and the construction time and lifecycle cost of a typical guest house were calculated without taking into account the lean construction methodology and after its introduction. The results obtained, namely, the duration of the project and costs at life cycle stages made it possible to conclude that the proposed methodological approach is effective.

The paper offers a look the new opportunities that open up in management in the context of the development of information technology. The aim of the study is to highlight the benefits of using technologies for collecting big data and spatial statistics for making strategic decisions in the tourism industry. In the work, using the example of the ski resort “Abzakovo”, the technologies for collecting data on the Internet are shown, the spatial dependence of the data is assessed and conclusions are drawn that allow subsequent strategic decisions as to enterprises located in this territory. So are the government bodies interested in the development of this tourist zone. Thus, the analysis of the geography of the members of the “Abzakovo” group made it possible to single out a statistically significant spatial dependence of their age, which manifests itself in the neighborhood of the older members of the group near the resort. The results of the analysis of the rating of tourist infrastructure facilities in the area of the ski resort “Abzakovo” identified spatially related zones of low and high ratings.

The publication highlights the regional conditions for the implementation of paleotours, as the basic components of the structure of the complex route "Terra Podolica", the territory of Podolsk Transnistria. The main features of paleotours on the basis of territorial locations with the characteristic of technical aspects of their realization are revealed. Leading fossils have been identified that can become regional paleobrends and can be used as a means of promoting geotourism. The conditions for effective implementation of paleotours in the regional recreational complex of the Podolsk region are established. The analysis of efficiency of perspective formats of development of geotourism on the basis of regional conditions is carried out. The development of geotourism in the Podolsk region has strong prerequisites: resource base, tourist flow and developed tourist infrastructure. At the same time, among the specialized forms, only the speleological direction is actively developing. Other geotourism components are limited to mentions or brief demonstrations of individual objects during sightseeing tours. Popularization of the direction is just beginning, and geotourism products are in the state of development and experimental testing. In particular, the paleontological direction, which has examples of successful implementation of abstract implementation (for example: dinosaur parks without reference to the region), using the resource capabilities of Podillya effective formats can become branded. The main theoretical aspects to be addressed are: focusing on particularly interesting regional fossils that can be interpreted as values and reveal through their prism geological history, features of modern landscapes and, if possible, regional cultural and economic phenomena, selection of effective forms of interactive interaction and development on their basis of competitive tourist products, formation and equipment of locations for realization of tourist products, popularization of the direction and interest in its realization of local economic, educational and nature protection subjects. In middle Transnistria, the valley and river landscapes change markedly from west to east (or vice versa). The main reason for this is the differences in lithological structure, emphasized by the shape of the slopes, the color of the rocks and the height distribution of plant tiers. This in turn affects the configuration of settlements, patterns of location of buildings, architectural composition of buildings, distribution of farmland. In combination with historical traditions, unique landscape and cultural entities are formed, promising for the organization of thematic tours. The visual change of geological deposits in the region is due to the lithological features of the structure, especially the Domezozoic tier. It is clearly visible in river valleys and weakly expressed in watersheds. In general, each large tributary of the Dniester corresponds to an "individual" lithological complex. Its features are preserved along the meridional extension of the watercourse with bright local manifestations in areas of tectonic activity. The effect of contrast occurs when laying a route across river valleys, when passing the watershed, the observer falls into another "landscape reality" Paleontological tours are considered by the authors focused on increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region, attracting untapped resources, optimizing tourist products within specific locations, developing innovative areas and forms of tourism and interaction with local economic systems of united territorial communities. The specifics of the organization of paleotours allows you to create a new economic niche with a staffing offer for specialists in natural specialties. Key words: geotourism, paleotours, Podolia¢/

Changes taking place in recent decades in the global economy have led to the formation and development of new highly differentiated inter-branch complexes, rather than separated industries. In the global economy, such reorganization is marked by the formation of new sectors of the economy, one of which is a sector of socio-natural types of economic activity. At the level of regions, new integration formations are developed - regional inter-sectoral recreational complexes (IcRC). The purpose of our study is to substantiate the formation of regional inter-sectoral complexes of recreational and tourist activities (RTA) in the conditions of radical restructuring of the economy of post-industrial civilization. Inter-sectoral complex RTA is a set of different types of activities of the population - economic and non-economic, as well as leisure forms that provide the needs of the population of the region (countries) in recreation services, health improvement, healing and tourism, accompanying social services and recreational and tourist infrastructure. The study presents an author's vision of the composition and structuring of the regional inter-sectoral complex of recreation and tourism activity. The developed model of the inter-sectoral complex RTA covers all varieties of recreational activities with all its forms - tourism, organized recreation, unorganized (amateur) mass recreation, household recreation. The geographical bases for the formation of regional inter-sectoral recreational complexes are serving recreational and tourist resources - destinations that determine the specialization of the region by types of RTA. Depending on the level of development of RTA in the region, the RTA management systems may form. At the local and regional levels, the RTA nodes will be destinations - local and regional concentration of recreational and tourist resources with appropriate infrastructure. On the global (international) level, RTA retains a network form of a territorial organization, whose nodes are world centres and areas of tourism, as well as the main areas of formation of tourist flows.

The article considers the current problem of tourism development in Ukraine and in a particular city Kharkiv. This problem is especially relevant today, due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Nowadays, in order to correct the situation in this sector of the economy, it is advisable to use specialized information support. There are many different resources on the Internet, with which one can get help or mark out a route, depending on the selected points of interest. Some of them specialize in working with the map, in particular in marking out routes, finding and displaying places of tourist infrastructure on the map. Others display information about events taking place in these places without cartographic reference. But each of these resources has only a part of the needs of a tourist or resident who wants to plan their leisure time. The proposed application will fill all the flaws of existing resources. It will meet the needs of navigation, information and planning functions. In other words this application will be the first application that combines the functions of finding and providing information about places of tourist attraction, marking out routes between them and creating an optimal plan for visiting them. The geographic information system ArcGIS was chosen to solve this problem. It contains the necessary modules for working with vectorized maps, layers and provides programming. An intuitive application interface was created using VBA. It contains the necessary forms for routing between points of interest and time planning. The article demonstrated the capabilities of geographic information systems in tourism business sphere It demonstrated a solution that allows with maximum convenience and minimum time not only to obtain the necessary information, but also to plan their leisure. It will help even during lockdowns and other anti-epidemic measures to prevent decline of tourist infrastructure.

Geoparks currently form the basis for the development of geotourism and, therefore, proposals of new geoparks are developed in many countries, including Poland, where over 20 locations for geoparks have been proposed so far. Two national geoparks have been established thus far, while another two have received the status of UNESCO Global Geoparks None of them are located in the Carpathian Mountains. Simultaneously south-eastern Poland—the Podkarpackie Province—boasts valuable geoheritage, biotic and cultural assets. In the past, having regard for the geological heritage, several research teams proposed the creation of three geoparks encompassing the existing landscape parks in that area. However, these were proposals based solely on scientific values. The objective of the study was to comprehensively assess their tourism potential, with a particular focus on geoheritage assets. The assessment has made it possible to determine to what extent these assets meet the conditions necessary for the functioning of this type of areas, i.e., the occurrence of diverse tourist assets, well-developed infrastructure and appropriate development potential. The assessment method used is based on 25 indices forming six groups. The analyses have been carried out for districts lying within the proposed geoparks. It has been found that the analysed area has a sufficiently high geoheritage potential that can be the basis for the functioning of two geoparks. The tourist infrastructure—particularly accommodation and catering facilities and geotourist trails—needs to be expanded and improved. It is particularly important to encourage local communities to become involved and engage in business activity within the geopark.

Tourist clusters are widely used in domestic practice as tools for the development of tourist infrastructure and improving the competitiveness of tourist products. The strategic effectiveness of clusters is determined by the extent to which the goals of their formation and functioning take into account the trends in the development of national and global tourism, as well as the interests of global, national and local stakeholders. Environmental challenges, transforming the system of socio-ecological and economic interests of stakeholders, require a corresponding adjustment of goals and goal-setting procedures at all stages of the cluster life cycle. The article substantiates the need for greening the goals system of cluster initiatives as a key condition and the first step in the system of measures for the “green” reorientation of existing and emerging clusters; offers a definition of a “green” tourism cluster as an organizational mechanism for greening the tourism industry, as well as a set of joint goals of its participants, which allows us to reach a compromise between the mission of greening tourism activities and the commercial success of the cluster. Data from the Russian and European Cluster Observatories, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, and the TCI Network, a global network on clusters, innovation, and competitiveness for the period from 2003 to the present, are the information base for the study of the goals of cluster initiatives.
