As with other subjects, the challenge to learning Jawi calligraphy at this time is that the whole world including Malaysia is affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. Therefore, all learning activities are now geared towards teaching and learning from home (PdPR) as methods to ensure the continuity of education. Therefore, it is very important that Jawi calligraphy is given a new breath in teaching and learning. This research article will discuss the mobile learning approach (M-Learning) for Jawi calligraphy. Important elements discussed include the application development process according to the needs of teaching and learning activities. The features of the application that contribute to the improvement of students’ learning experience as well as the results of tests performed on students are also stated. The success of this M-Learning application for learning Jawi calligraphy will certainly be able to be further expanded to the learning of other subjects in various fields.

Community Service aims to determine the ability of students in the Implementation of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Based on Entrepreneurship of Dumbo Catfish Cultivation with Bioflok and Feed Media made by Palm Kernel Oil (BIS). P2M activities are conducted at Pekanbaru Purnama Middle School through Extracurricular learning activities from March to June 2019. Participants are 20 students consisting of 4 groups. The method of using the STEM approach with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model consists of 3 stages, namely: 1. Preparation: bioflok making training, feed making and seed procurement; 2. Implementation: treatment, maintenance, supervision and collection of growth data, operational costs: 3. Analysis of entrepreneurial economic data and STEM capabilities. Instrument for collecting growth data and operational costs using logbooks and observation sheets. Data on STEM and Entrepreneurship Capabilities using Student Worksheets. Data on fish growth and operational costs, then percentage, were scaled, tabulated and analyzed descriptively. The results of STEM abilities were obtained namely Science ability with a score of 80 (good category); Engineering 50 ability (less category), Technology ability with a score of 60 (sufficient category) and Mathematical ability with a score of 65 (sufficient category). Entrepreneurial economic analysis with a score of 75 (sufficient category) and 50% of participants get a profit of 30% from catfish production within 3 months.

Abstract As the effects of Covid-19 pandemic, Indonesia’s education experienced numerous changes. The previously face-to-face learning activities have been replaced by the online learning that relies on Internet access. Meanwhile, during a learning process, teachers use media to facilitate students learning. Therefore, the implementation of online learning rises the need for learning media in online learning. Mobile learning is invented as a learning media that can be implemented in this situation. It is developed using a number of programing applications, such as Sublime Text, to generate user friendly media. This study developed a Sublime Text based mobile learning application that can be accessed through android smartphones. This media has been confirmed to help teachers deliver learning materials, learning videos, and exercises accessible at anytime and anywhere. This Sublime Text based mobile learning application is called Study Fill. The learning media has been tried out to the students in tenth grade of State Vocational High School 2 Kediri, while the result suggest that the learning media is feasible and valid.

PAI’s teacher at SMK Wahana Karya tries to make an innovation in Islamic Education learning, namely by using Android-based mobile learning. This is based on the background of students who on average already use Android in everyday life. So, this study describes android-based mobile learning as a learning medium for Islamic religious education at SMK Wahana Karya. This research uses qualitative methods, where the researcher makes direct observations and interviews. Sources of data used are from school archives, school websites, interviews with principals, Islamic education teachers, and students of SMK Wahana Karya. The results of this study are, although there are still some obstacles, namely in terms of signal and classroom atmosphere conditioning. However, apart from that the use of mobile learning is considered effective and attracts students in learning Islamic Education.

Research in mobile learning (m-learning) about technology and software and mobile learning's application to educationally related undertakings and a long-term sustainability remain unclear. This chapter untwines the tangled information surrounding m-learning strategy through examining the drivers and perceptions for m-learning in the 21st century. The data will unearth the value of employing diverse modalities of m-learning. Administrators will gain knowledge to develop and implement mobile strategy. Faculty will enhance their familiarity on the diverse types of m-learning tools and the value of employing m-learning in the classroom. Administrators and faculty members will gather knowledge that guides efforts to diminish barriers in support of a successful m-learning implementation. In addition, administrators will garner developed knowledge to analyze, gather requirements, develop, and then implement a strategic m-learning plan for long-term sustainability. Academics and practitioners will gain insight into understanding the balance of a mobile strategy amid economic value and the required controls.
