La inteligencia emocional es importante en la forma en que las emociones son adquiridas, procesadas y reguladas. Uno de los posibles riesgos psicosociales es el síndrome de Burnout, entendiéndose como el cansancio emocional. El mindfulness, es una práctica que nos hace tomar la conciencia de los sucesos internos que sentimos, donde se adopta una actitud de aceptación propia. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión sistemática que aborden las relaciones entre la inteligencia emocional y el síndrome de Burnout, a través de la práctica de Mindfulness. La búsqueda se realizó en la Web of Science, que tras aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se obtuvo una muestra de 22 artículos entre los años 2000-2017. Como principales conclusiones se expone la estrecha relación entre aspectos psicosociales y emocionales, pues los procesos estresantes difieren con la inteligencia emocional, hecho que se controla con el Mindfulness. Emotional intelligence is important in the way emotions are acquired, processed, and regulated. One of the possible psychosocial risks is Burnout syndrome, understood as emotional fatigue. The mindfulness, is a practice that makes us aware of internal events that we feel, where it adopts an attitude of self-acceptance. The aim of this work is to carry out a systematic review that addresses the relationships between emotional intelligence and Burnout syndrome, through the practice of Mindfulness... The search was carried out in the Web of Science, which after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria obtained a sample of 22 articles between the years 2000-2017. The main conclusions are the close relationship between psychosocial and emotional aspects, since stressful processes differ with emotional intelligence, a fact that is controlled with Mindfulness.

The aim of this systematic review was to examine the prevalence of burnout-related symptoms in Brazilian schoolteachers who work in public schools. The literature search was conducted using the following databases: PubMed-MEDLINE, Scopus, and Web of Science. Peer-reviewed studies published in English, Spanish, or Portuguese were considered for inclusion. A total of 2106 records were identified through database searching and 7 additional studies were identified through other sources. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 19 studies were included in the systematic review. Burnout syndrome prevalence was assessed through seven distinct questionnaires. Overall, the majority of the studies presented high methodological quality. Brazilian schoolteachers exhibited high levels of emotional exhaustion (21–69%), high or moderate degrees of depersonalization (8–32%), and high levels of personal realization and enthusiasm toward the job (30–90%). From these data, it is possible to infer that Brazilian schoolteachers are, in general, affected by burnout syndrome. However, and, surprisingly, they seem to be motivated and idealistic, as demonstrated by their high levels of personal realization and enthusiasm toward the job (30–90%). This likely favors the implementation of programs designed to avoid or reduce burnout, deal with stress, and enhance teaching quality.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue realizar una revisión sistemática para conocer el estado actual del estudio de las relaciones entre los factores sociales de la teoría de metas de logro y la teoría de la autodeterminación, las necesidades psicológicas básicas y las regulaciones motivacionales, sobre la inteligencia emocional. La búsqueda se realizó en las bases de datos Web of Science, Scopus y SportDiscus. De los 62 resultados iniciales, se seleccionaron 6 artículos que cumplían los criterios de elegibilidad establecidos con anterioridad. Los resultados mostraron que la orientación de meta de aproximación-tarea, el clima tarea, la satisfacción de las necesidades psicológicas básicas y los tipos de motivación más autodeterminados se asocian de forma positiva con la inteligencia emocional. De forma opuesta, la regulación motivacional externa y la desmotivación se relacionan de forma negativa con la inteligencia emocional. Asimismo, dentro de la secuencia propuesta por la teoría de la autodeterminación, la inteligencia emocional parece comportarte como un mediador entre los antecedentes sociales y la satisfacción de los mediadores psicológicos, al mismo tiempo que parece tener un efecto directo como predictor de los diferentes tipos de regulaciones motivacionales. No obstante, son necesarios más estudios que muestren causalidad entre estas variables.Abstract. The aim of this paper was to carry out a systematic review to show the current state of research on the relationship between the social factors from the Achievement Goal Theory and the Self-Determination Theory, the basic psychological needs and motivational regulations, and emotional intelligence. The search was made in the Web of Science, Scopus, and SportDiscus databases. From the 62 initial items, we selected 6 articles that met the eligibility criteria previously established. Our findings showed that goal orientation of approach-task, task climate, satisfaction of basic psychological needs, and the most self-determined types of motivation are associated with emotional intelligence in a positive way. Conversely, external motivational regulation and amotivation are negatively related to emotional intelligence. Also, based on the sequence proposed by the Self-Determination Theory, emotional intelligence seems to behave as a mediator between social factors and satisfaction of the basic psychological needs. Furthermore, emotional intelligence seems to have a direct effect as a predictor of different types of motivational regulations. However, more studies are necessary to show causality among these variables.

El conocimiento de las distintas partes que forman las sesiones de Educación Física, así como su definición, aporta información relevante para facilitar el trabajo y el entendimiento del docente a la hora de organizar las sesiones de manera eficiente. El objetivo de la presente investigación es conocer cuáles son las diferentes partes que estructuran la sesión de Educación Física y sus características. Por otro lado, se pretende unificar estos criterios con el fin de establecer una propuesta terminológica, eficaz y funcional. Siguiendo la estructura del protocolo PRISMA, se realizó una revisión sistemática de las bases de datos de WEB OF SCIENCE y ERIC. Además, se utilizaron otras fuentes de información, Dialnet, Cafyd, Retos, Google Schoolar y los repositorios de Alicante, Elche, Valencia, Madrid y Barcelona. Se obtuvieron 16 publicaciones de 10 autores, donde se dividían las sesiones en distintas partes y se definían cada una de ellas. Tras la revisión y análisis de los datos obtenidos, se considera que todos los autores que aparecen en esta revisión aportan distintas clasificaciones y definiciones de las partes de la sesión de Educación Física, con el fin de optimizar el tiempo en las sesiones de Educación Física gracias al uso de esa terminología. Summary. The knowledge of the different parts that make up the Physical Education lessons, as well as their definition, provides relevant information to facilitate the teacher's work and understanding when organizing the sessions efficiently. The objective of the present investigation is to know what the different parts that structure the Physical Education lesson are and its characteristics. On the other hand, it is intended to unify these criteria in order to establish a terminological, effective and functional proposal. Following the structure of the PRISMA protocol, a systematic review of the WEB OF SCIENCE and ERIC databases was carried out. In addition to this, other sources of information were used, Dialnet, Cafyd, Retos, Google Schoolar and the repositories of Alicante, Elche, Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona. 16 publications were obtained from 10 authors, where the lessons were divided into different parts and each one was defined. After reviewing and analyzing the data obtained, it is considered that all the authors that appear in this review provide different classifications and definitions of the parts of the Physical Education lesson, in order to optimize time in Physical Education sessions thanks to the use of that terminology.

At present, knowledge of physical and cognitive aspects is essential in the sporting context. Faced with this situation, the control and knowledge of emotions has a person on himself and on others, affects the sporting action. The aim of this work is to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and the practice of physical activity. Through a systematic review in databases such as the Web of Science and Scopus that contain the terms of emotional intelligence along with the parameters of physical activity and sport. Twenty-four articles comprised the sample for further analysis. By way of conclusion it can be said that the main field of study of emotional intelligence related to the practice of physical activity is educational. Likewise, emotional intelligence is a determining factor in the improvement of sports competences.

Tradicionalmente, la diversidad de factores que influyen en la prás adolescentes ha sido ampliamente estudiada. Sin embargo, no hemos localizado investigaciones que aporten datos empíricos que permitan determinar el efecto de la motivación y el uso de las TIC en la práctica de actividad física en adolescentes. Por ello, el objetivo principal de este estudio fue realizar una revisión sistemática de los estudios que evalúan el efecto de la motivación y el uso de las TIC para la mejora de la práctica de actividad física en la adolescencia. En la revisión fueron incluidos 243 artículos científicos publicados en las bases de datos Web of Science (WOS) y Scopus, de enero de 2010 hasta abril de 2021, utilizando la metodología PRISMA para analizar la información. Los resultados arrojan evidencias científicas que justifican que la motivación y el uso de las TIC son factores que inciden positivamente en la realización de actividad física. Entre las principales razones destaca que el uso inapropiado de los recursos tecnológicos es uno de los principales causantes del sedentarismo, la inactividad física y la declinación de los hábitos de vida saludables de la población. Abstract. Traditionally, the diversity of factors that influence the practice of physical activity of adolescents has been widely studied. However, we have not found research that provides empirical data that allow us to determine the effect of motivation and the use of ICT in the practice of physical activity in adolescents. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to carry out a systematic review of the studies that evaluate the effect of motivation and the use of ICT to improve the practice of physical activity in adolescence. The review included 243 scientific articles published in the Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus databases, from January 2010 to April 2021, using the PRISMA methodology to analyze the information. The results provide scientific evidence that justify that motivation and the use of ICT are factors that positively affect the performance of physical activity. Among the main reasons, it stands out that the inappropriate use of technological resources is one of the main causes of sedentary lifestyle, physical inactivity and the decline in healthy lifestyle habits of the population.

El objetivo de este estudio fue realizar una revisión sistemática sobre los requerimientos de la competición en pádel para identificar las variables más estudiadas y sus principales resultados. Se realizó una búsqueda electrónica en cuatro bases de datos: Scopus, Web of Science, SportDiscus y Google Scholar. Se utilizaron principios de revisión sistemática para identificar y seleccionar posibles estudios elegibles de acuerdo a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión definidos. De un total de 124 artículos identificados en la búsqueda inicial, se incluyeron 17 después del proceso de selección. Los artículos se clasificaron en función de la temática de estudio (estructura temporal, acciones de juego y movimientos en pista), año, muestra y principales resultados. En general, los resultados indican que el pádel es un deporte de carácter intermitente, con esfuerzos interválicos, provocados por acciones repetitivas de corta duración y moderada intensidad. Se han encontrado importantes diferencias en aspectos temporales y del estilo de juego en función del género y la edad de los jugadores. Sin embargo, la mayoría de los trabajos revisados analizan las relaciones entre una serie de variables o comportamientos asilados durante la competición, encontrando carencias de investigaciones holísticas, dinámicas y complejas de acuerdo a los métodos y técnicas actuales utilizadas en el estudio del análisis de la competición. En conclusión, los resultados expuestos contribuyen al desarrollo del conocimiento científico en pádel, permitiendo el diseño de futuros estudios más complejos e intervenciones específicas que respondan a las necesidades de la competición en este deporte. Abstract. We aimed to review current literature on padel competition requirements to identify the most common research topics and main findings. Literature was sought via an electronic search of four databases: Scopus, Web of Science, SportDiscuss and Google Scholar. Systematic review principles were employed to identify and select potential eligible studies according to defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. In total, 124 studies were identified in the original database search, which were reduced to 17 after screening process. Then, articles were classified based on topic (temporal structure, game actions, and movements), year, sample, and main results. Overall, results allow defining padel as an intermittent sport including interval efforts provoked by repetitive actions of short duration and moderate intensity. Important differences in temporal structure and game styles were observed regarding players’ gender and age. However, the majority of the reviewed studies reported associations between isolated variables and behaviors during competition, detecting a deficiency of holistic, dynamic and complex research in line with current methods and techniques employed in match analysis. To conclude, the presented findings add relevant insights on the scientific understanding of padel, contributing to the design of future studies focused on more complex and specific interventions in accordance with competition requirements.

RESUMEN Introducción. La Inteligencia Emocional es un factor que influye positivamente en el bienestar mental y social de las personas, asimismo dentro del ámbito educativo posee un papel fundamental en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Las competencias de los profesionales de la educación, el contacto social en el entorno educativo y la resolución de conflictos, son factores que manifiestan la necesidad de desarrollar la Inteligencia Emocional. La finalidad de este estudio reside en realizar una revisión sistemática que aborde la Inteligencia Emocional como factor en el desempeño de los docentes en las diferentes etapas educativas, para dar solución a esta preocupación del ámbito educativo. Metodología. La búsqueda de artículos científicos se realizó en la base de datos Web of Science (WOS), concretizando la búsqueda en las categorías de investigación “Education Educational Research”, “Social Sciences” y “Psychology”. Se obtuvo una población de 116 artículos publicados en el periodo 2007-2017, que tras aplicar los criterios de inclusión se destacaron 50 estudios para su análisis y tratamiento. Resultados. La producción científica que afronta el tratamiento de la Inteligencia Emocional de los docentes tiene un carácter ascendente y de tipo transversal, debido a que es una de las profesiones más afectadas por el estrés y la ansiedad. Discusión y conclusión. La Inteligencia Emocional, favorece el correcto desempeño laboral, aumentando la auto-realización y satisfacción con el trabajo desempeñado, consiguiendo disminuir los niveles problemáticos en la salud mental. Así, se hace necesario destacar la necesidad de realizar intervenciones que reporte beneficios en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje.ABSTRACTIntroduction. Methodology. The search for scientific articles was carried out in the Web of Science (WOS) database, specifying the search in the research categories "Education Educational Research", "Social Sciences" and "Psychology". A population of 116 articles published in the 2007-2017 period was obtained, which after applying the inclusion criteria, highlighted 50 studies for its analysis and treatment. Results. The scientific production that faces the treatment of Emotional Intelligence of teachers has an ascending and transversal character, because it is one of the professions most affected by stress and anxiety. Discussion and conclusion. The Emotional Intelligence favors the correct work performance, increasing the self-realization and satisfaction with the work performed, getting to reduce the problematic levels in the mental health. Thus, it is necessary to highlight the need to carry out interventions that provide benefits in the teaching and learning process.

Objective:To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine whether fluid and imaging astrocyte biomarkers are altered in Alzheimer's disease (AD).Methods:PubMed and Web of Science databases were searched for articles reporting fluid or imaging astrocyte biomarkers in AD. Pooled effect sizes were determined with mean differences (SMD) using the Hedge’s G method with random-effects to determine biomarker performance. Adapted questions from QUADAS-2 were applied for quality assessment. A protocol for this study has been previously registered in PROSPERO (registration number: CRD42020192304).Results:The initial search identified 1,425 articles. After exclusion criteria were applied, 33 articles (a total of 3,204 individuals) measuring levels of GFAP, S100B, YKL-40 and AQP4 in the blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), as well as MAO-B, indexed by positron emission tomography 11C-deuterium-L-deprenyl ([11C]-DED), were included. GFAP (SMD = 0.94; 95% CI = 0.71-1.18) and YKL-40 (SMD = 0.76; CI 95% = 0.63-0.89) levels in the CSF, S100B levels in the blood (SMD = 2.91; CI 95% = 1.01-4.8) were found significantly increased in AD patients.Conclusions:Despite significant progress, applications of astrocyte biomarkers in AD remain in their early days. The meta-analysis demonstrated that astrocyte biomarkers are consistently altered in AD and supports further investigation for their inclusion in the AD clinical research framework for observational and interventional studies.

Las etapas educativas relativas a la infancia y adolescencia son periodos esenciales para promocionar los estilos de vida saludables, tales como el incremento de la actividad física y la mejora de la condición física. La capacidad aeróbica es una de las cualidades más importantes de la condición física relacionadas con la salud, ya que representa una medida directa del grado general de salud y de manera específica del estado del sistema cardiovascular, respiratorio y metabólico. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal analizar el efecto de la capacidad aeróbica en estudiantes, mediante una revisión sistemática de literatura científica. La búsqueda bibliográfica se ha realizado en la base de datos Web of Science y SCOPUS, obteniendo una población de 293 artículos publicados entre 1997-2017. Tras la aplicación de los criterios de inclusión, se seleccionaron 26 estudios para su posterior análisis y tratamiento. Podemos decir que la capacidad aeróbica del alumnado se encuentra relacionada de forma considerable con los niveles de actividad física, parámetros antropométricos y aspectos del rendimiento académico y mental. Por ello, se resalta la necesidad de aumentar el número de investigaciones que analicen y/o traten la capacidad aeróbica como uno de los principales indicadores de salud relacionada con la condición física, ejerciendo así un papel protector frente a distintas enfermedades futuras.Abstract. The educational stages related to childhood and adolescence are essential periods for the promotion of healthy behaviors, such as increased physical activity and improved physical fitness. Aerobic capacity is one of the most important qualities of health-related physical fitness, as it represents a direct measure of general health as well as it specifically defines the state of cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic systems. The main objective of this work is to analyze the effect of aerobic capacity in students through a systematic review of scientific literature. The bibliographic search was done in the Web of Science and SCOPUS databases, obtaining a population of 293 articles published between 1997 and 2017. After the inclusion criteria were applied, 26 studies were selected for further analysis and treatment. The review highlights that students’ aerobic capacity is significantly associated with physical activity levels, anthropometric parameters, and certain aspects of academic and mental performance. Therefore, the need to increase research analyzing and / or treating aerobic capacity as one of the main health indicators related to physical fitness is emphasized, as this quality plays a protective role in relation to different future diseases.

ABSTRACT Objective: To determine whether the successful management of palatally displaced permanent canines (PDCs) can be achieved by the interceptive extraction of primary maxillary canines. Materials and Methods: Digital databases (Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, and Cochrane) were searched to retrieve articles published from 1952 to April 2016. The university librarian developed search strategies for each database. Two calibrated reviewers independently reviewed potentially related titles and abstracts. Papers meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were read in full. The selected articles were evaluated and scored according to methodological quality criteria. Results: Four randomized clinical trials (RCTs) were included in the systematic review. Compared with two older studies, two more recent RCTs were found to have better study designs, were better conducted, and involved better reporting of the results. The included studies compared intervention groups (children with PDCs undergoing extraction of primary canines) with controls (subjects with PDCs but no primary canine extractions). In three of the four studies, the interceptive extraction of primary canines facilitated eruption of PDCs in more than 65% of cases. Overall, the intervention groups had a markedly higher incidence of successful eruption of PDCs (50%–69%) compared with the control groups (36%–42%). Conclusions: Based on the available evidence, it is reasonable to conclude that eruption of PDCs can be facilitated by extraction of primary canines. However, further high-quality, randomized clinical trials are warranted in other population groups. It is hoped that this study will help orthodontists make evidence-based decisions about clinically managing PDCs.
