The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship among cyclists’ participation motivation; serious leisure and recreational specialization. In this study, cyclists were used as the research object, non-random sampling method was used, and a total of 237 effective questionnaires were collected. After descriptive statistics and partial least squares (PLS) statistics analysis, the results show that: the cyclists’ participation motivation is higher, their characteristics of serious leisure are more obvious, and the recreational specialization also higher; and cyclists have characteristics of serious leisure their recreational specialization is also higher. In addition, the study also confirms that serious leisure has a mediate effect on recreational specialization.

The research is an applied one in terms of objectives, and a descriptive-correlational in terms of method. The population includes all experts working in the company in 2012 as 240 individuals among who 144 participants were selected using the stratified random sampling method proportionate to the population size as the sample size. The data collection instruments were two researcher-made questionnaires of Managers’ skills containing 22 items and with the reliability coefficient as 0.96, and Professionalism containing 28 items and the reliability coefficient as 0.95. Their validity was investigated and confirmed by professors and experts of management. Analyzing data was conducted at the two level of descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, SD, and presentation of tables and charts) and inferential statistics (one sample t-test, correlation coefficient, regression coefficient, ANOVA, and F-test).

Abstract Household levels of deprivation to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WaSH) and residential conditions in slum settlements of Lagos, Nigeria were assessed and mapped using slum deprivation index (SDI). A structured questionnaire was administered to 1,398 households in 16 settlements using a random sampling method. Descriptive statistics and SDI were employed to analyze the data while ArcMap was used to map the patterns of SDI. The results show that households live in poor dwelling conditions with limited access to WaSH facilities. The SDI indicates that 18.7% of the slums are highly deprived. Based on WaSH and dwelling and physical environment (DPE) components, 18.75 and 31.25% of the slums are highly deprived. Water, sanitation, and hygiene indicators show that 37.5, 12.5, and 56.25% of the slums are highly deprived respectively. About 50, 37.5, 43.75, and 31.25% of the slum are highly deprived based on dwelling, waste disposal, waste pile, and stagnant water respectively. The study concluded that six settlements live in deplorable WaSH and DPE conditions. The study recommends urgent intervention for planning and resources allocation, and sustained urban renewal programs at Oko-Baba, Ilaje, Oko-Agbon, Abule-Nla, and Badia for improved WaSH and living conditions for sustainable service delivery and healthy slum settlements.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate prospective teachers' critical thinking and metacognition levels. The study is descriptive in nature and based on relational screening model. The participants were selected using stratified sampling method which is one of the random sampling methods, and 293 teachers became the participants of the study. The data collected via "California Critical Thinking Scale" and "Metacognition Scale" were analyzed using independent groups t-test, one-way variance analysis, correlation analysis as well as the descriptive statistics. Results show that although the participants' metacognition perceptions differed according to gender in the evaluation and organization dimensions, no significant differences were found in the other dimensions. The participants' perceived critical thinking levels did not show significant differences according to the departments they attend in the seeking truth, open-mindedness, analyticalness, systematicity, curiousness and total dimensions. Critical thinking total scores were found to display a negative relationship with evaluation, organization, and metacognition total scores while they showed a positive relationship with seeking the truth, open-mindedness, analyticalness, systematicity, self-confidence, and curiousness scores.

This research aims to know the significant effect of RPT (Repetitive-Practice Technique) in teaching speaking at the tenth-grade students of SMA Al-Hasaniyah NW Jenggik in 2016-2017. This research was designed as pre-experimental with pretest and posttest design. The study population was 27 and 27 as the sample in X chosen by purposive random sampling it means the sample was taken purposively because the sample is representative. Speaking tests and analytical scoring rubric were used to collect the data. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test to test the hypothesis, and it was performed by SPSS 22 for windows. The descriptive statistics analysis showed that RPT (Repetitive-Practice Technique) was effective in teaching speaking ability. It was proven by improving students' scores from 40.89 in Pre-Test and 58.96 in Post-Test. While the result of hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test at significance (2-tailed) value level was .000, it was lower than .05. RPT (Repetitive-Practice Technique) is significantly effective in teaching speaking ability. It was suggested that speaking in RPT (Repetitive-Practice Technique) is suitable for teaching speaking.

The population of the study included all students of Payam Noor University in Ghorveh during 2016-2017 academic years. According to the principles of statistical methodology for correlational studies, 100 students from different disciplines were selected as sample of the study using simple random sampling method. In this research, King's Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire, Bar-Ann 90-questions Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, and Conner and Davison resilience questionnaire were used. Descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regressions) were used to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that there is a significant positive correlation between spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence and resilience. Regression coefficients showed that spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence predict 53.9% of the variation in resiliency.

As Madhya has 10 Gunas which are exactly opposite to the 10 Gunas of Ojas. 35 patients of Madatyaya were selected by simple random sampling method. Kharjooradi Mantha was given in two divided doses once in the morning and evening after food with Jala as Anupana for duration of 28 days. Gradation scale was used depending upon their severity to assess the effect of the treatment objectively and to monitor the disease; however at the time of statistical analysis the outcome was statistically analyzed i.e. before treatment and after treatment by using Descriptive Statistics, Chi squares test and Cramer’s V by using windows SPSS Software. It was revealed that Kharjooradi Mantha was effective in the enhancement of Ojo Guna in the subjects of Madatyayia. It significantly reduced the symptoms such as Chardi, Aruchi, Hrullasa, Tandra, Staimitya, Gaurava, Hikka, Svasa, Kasa, Pralapa, Sirakampa, Parashvashola, Nidranasha, Trsna, Daha, Dourbalya, Murcha and Sweda.
