A new form of technology is changing the way commerce is being done globally. This article provides an overall description of mobile commerce and examines ways in which the Internet will be changing. It explains the requirements for operating mobile commerce and the numerous ways of providing this wireless Internet business. While the Internet is already a valuable form of business that has already changed the way the world is doing business, it is about to change again. Telecommunications, the Internet, and mobile computing are merging their technologies to form a new business called mobile commerce or the wireless Internet. This is being driven by consumer demand for wireless devices and the desire to be connected to information and data available through the Internet. There are many new opportunities that have only begun to be explored, and for many this will become a large revenue source for those who capitalize upon this new form of technology. However, like other capital ventures, these new opportunities have their drawbacks, which may limit growth of the mobile commerce market if not dealt with. Mobile e-commerce technology is changing our world of business just as the Internet alone has changed business today.

This paper reviews the UK government's Science Enterprise Challenge (SEC) initiative, giving particular emphasis to the SEC objective of achieving cultural change. A ‘cultural web’ framework is applied to characterize the political, symbolic and structural issues that need to be addressed if change is to be effected. The author suggests that, if the vision of the future ‘enterprising university’ causes concern, there is a need to analyse assumptions and if necessary change activities. If the vision is acceptable, then the cultural web analysis assists in developing an understanding of the target and enables faster and better decision making on the way.

It addresses the challenges that large multi-divisional B2B corporations face each day to take advantage of their corporate strategy and ensure sustainable competitive advantages. The synergies and interrelations that would give them such a position are not always simple to be achieved or even perceived by customers. The chosen approach was focused on B2B companies, because processes and communication tend to be more truncated, as they are usually more technical in the way of doing business. This can make the challenges of interrelation and synergy even greater.

The importance of the social development of personnel in innovative economy as a decisive factor in the stability of society and improving the quality of life of both workers themselves and the entire population of the country has been defined. It has been shown that social development of staff in the organization contributes to the improvement of social and labor relations through interaction of the parties of social partnership based on the principle of tripartite cooperation and “tripartism”, and also contributes to the full development of the potential of employees and their professional competences. The main directions of social development of personnel included in the social policy of the organization have been determined in the paper. As a result of the research, priority role of cash payments and guarantees in the organization’s social responsibility strategy have been identified. At the same time, the main principle in the development of policy aimed at social development of staff should be targeted consideration of the needs of employees. The principle of targeting to determine the level of staff satisfaction should be the main one for evaluating the effectiveness of work in this direction. In addition, the authors point to the need to use modeling and forecasting the prospects of social innovations in order to achieve sustainable development in the long term.

The volume of collected genetic data has been growing exponentially in the past few years and we need to improve the way we store, analyze and visualize it in order to be able to draw relevant conclusions that could improve the life quality of people. Extracting patterns and predicting future mutations and their impact will rely heavily on the efficient use of Big Data. Often a mutation on its own cannot provide enough information about a disorder or disease. Only if we combine the genetic information with the organism’s environment we can draw some conclusions about penetrance and expressively of the mutation. Because many genes can cause a single disease and at the same time a single gene can cause multiple diseases, we need to analyze the whole context of a person. In this work, a distributed solution that provides demographics and metrics about diagnostics and mutations is pro posed. Seeing the occurrence of a mutation in a particular geographic region can help medical special ists narrow down the search for a patient’s mutations without sequencing the whole genome.
