The implemented theoretical study has revealed various scientific positions aimed at: interpreting the concepts of value and value orientation; finding controversial positions and affinities in the use of “value” and “value orientation” concepts; identifyingambiguous positions on structural elements of value orientation and value formation mechanism. The purpose of undertakenresearch was theoretical, experimental and methodological in nature, outlining formation of value orientations in adolescence and youth ages.The developed definitions and determined structural components of value orientations allowed initiation of an experimental investigation of value orientations in adolescents and young people through which interrelation between the constitutive components of value orientation was confirmed, the specifics of values in adolescents and young people was emphasized. Outlining the specifics of value orientation structure led to identification of criteria, indicators and descriptors and to development and validation of a Questionnaire for Value Orientation Assessment. The results of experimental study laid the basis for development and recognition of a Pedagogical Model for formation of value orientations in adolescents and young people. The previously identified mechanism for formation of values and functioning of value orientations was transposed into the nucleus of the Pedagogical Model, which included the following components: behaviour, emotional states, attitudes, convictions, and values. In order to identify the methodology for forming value orientations in the formal, informal and non-formal educational environment, the principles of humanistic, constructivist and cognitivist education, strategies, conditions were highlighted, which ensure a dynamic progress in general development of the personality, implicitly of value orientations, and which is taken into account in framework ofa formative experiment.The data obtained from the validation of the developed Pedagogical Model confirmed its effectiveness and proved that it was a multidimensional one, which could be of great benefit to specialists in the field of Education Sciences and teachers from schools and higher educationalinstitutions.

Four perspectives on numerical origins are examined. The nativist model sees numbers as an aspect of numerosity, the biologically endowed ability to appreciate quantity that humans share with other species. The linguistic model sees numbers as a function of language. The embodied model sees numbers as conceptual metaphors informed by physical experience and expressed in language. Finally, the extended model sees numbers as conceptual outcomes of a cognitive system that includes material forms as constitutive components. If numerical origins are to be found, each perspective must address one or more critical questions that will require working across discipline boundaries.

: The present review discusses a new viewpoint on refractometry as the oldest experimental physical method, whose scientific potential in the estimation of structural effects in organic chemistry has been missed so far. The author demonstrates that upon certain adjustment and redesign of refractometry, this potential can be tapped and successfully used to determine a type of Π-electron interaction, delocalization degree of Π-electrons in organic compounds, and to perform quantitative estimates of resonance effects in unsaturated, (polycyclic) aromatic, and other polyconjugated systems (e.g., fullerenes). The method for accurate separation of molar refraction into additive and constitutive components was suggested; the method is based on the specially developed additive scheme. It was revealed that the negative deviations from additivity for cycloalkanes depend linearly on the number of carbon atoms in the ring. Excellent linear correlations between renewed optical exaltations, the number of Π-electrons in a conjugated system, and experimentally found resonance energy (determined from hydrogenation heat values) were demonstrated. Angular coefficients of the correlation series (ρ-constants) are considered as a criterion of classification, which characterizes the degree of mobility of Π-electrons in the conjugated system of a given type. It is emphasized that the development of methods for precise measurement of the constitutive components of molar refraction may become a useful additional source of information about resonance and other effects in organic and polymer chemistry.

This article explores an emergent assemblage in which material semiotics interacts with legal plurality. It is argued that infrastructural designs constitute specific configurations of such assemblages. While research on infrastructure is proliferating in anthropology and STS, law as a constitutive component in all its forms and manifestations has not yet been sufficiently examined from this perspective. Infrastructures enact the ordering of their constitutive components and develop their own specific legal configurations. They combine components from various legal registers with routinized social practices and the normativity of technologies and materiality. Law in infrastructure is thus in itself inherently plural. The article exemplifies what plural law does to infrastructures and how social and legal relations take on infrastructural properties. These plural technolegal entanglements are examined using a case study of one specific strand within the infrastructure of the multilayered supply chain that brings Moroccan argan oil to the global market. This strand emerged in response to the breakdown of a supply infrastructure that was set up as a model development cooperation project.

Abstract This paper investigates the flexural wave propagation through elastically coupled metabeams. It is assumed that the metabeam is formed by connecting successive beams with each other using distributed elastic springs. The equations of motion of a representative unit of the above mentioned novel structural form is established by dividing it into three constitutive components that are two side beams, modeled employing Euler-Bernoulli beam equation and an elastically coupled articulated distributed spring connection (ECADSC) at middle. ECADSC is modeled as parallel double beams connected by distributed springs. The underlying mechanics of this system in context of elastic wave propagation is unique when compared with the existing state of art in which local resonators, inertial amplifiers etc. are attached to the beam to widen the attenuation bandwidth. The dynamic stiffness matrix is employed in conjunction with Bloch-Floquet theorem to derive the band-structure of the system. It is identified that the coupling coefficient of the distributed spring layer and length ratio between the side beams and the elastic coupling plays the key role in the wave attenuation. It has been perceived that a considerable widening of the attenuation band gap in the low-frequency can be achieved while the elastically distributed springs are weak and distributed in a small stretch. Specifically, 140% normalized band gap can be obtained only by tuning the stiffness and the length ratio without adding any added masses or resonators to the structure.

This conceptual article draws on critical traditions from several social science disciplines, notably, social, political, and systems theory, sociology, psychology, and management studies, as it seeks to explore, assemble, and integrate some constitutive components of a socio- and psychodynamic perspective on power and control in work organizations. At its core is an archetypal taxonomy of formal (economic), real (technocratic), normative (ideological), and formative (biopolitical) modes of power and managerial control through various means and combinations of commodification (contracts, compensation, competition), coercion (commands, constraints, compliance), cooptation (culture, consent, commitment), and creation (corrosion, conception, coevolution). Other integral elements are domains or foci of inquiry, specifically, interests, ideologies, institutions, and identities. These domains are linked to meta-, macro-, meso-, and micro-levels of analysis, resembling economy, society, organization, and individual. Accordingly, behavioural control and psychological governance processes are reinforced by a pervasive economic system logic, cascading into political, social, and psychodynamic sublogics. These taxonomies are integrated with concepts from the depth and dynamic psychology and traced across economic (meta-system interests), societal (macro-political ideologies), organizational (meso-social institutions), and individual (micro-psychodynamic identities) levels revealing patterns of self-similarity. It is argued that societal subsumption and subjugation reproduce psychodynamic subjectification (submission, sublimation) at the individual level, mediated by the subordinating and socializing forces inherent in organizational control systems. Discussed are implications for the dynamics of power and control in contemporary societies, organizations, and individuals under hegemonic governance of neoliberal ideology.

<p>Steam explosion (SE) is a versatile tool for the pretreatment of lignocellulosic plant 27 materials and the further separation of their main constitutive components, <i>i.e. </i>cellulose, 28 hemicellulose, lignin, etc. In this study, we propose to evaluate the effects of SE 29 treatment on the recovery of secondary metabolites. As a case study, the well-known 30 grape pomace phenolic compounds were considered. Our results demonstrate that the 31 efficiency of the steam explosion in term of yield (900 mg polyphenols per kg of dry 32 grape pomace) was relatively similar to conventional maceration methods in alcoholic 33 media (800 mg/kg). Advantages of SE compared to maceration were highlighted: the 34 process is organic solvent free, destabilize the biomass structure and release insoluble 35 bound phenolic compounds. In addition, it offers the possibility to modulate distinct 36 polyphenols profiles by modifying the process conditions. </p>
