Immigration from one location to another in search for a better life has been an ongoing human process. The process, as a matter of fact, began before the WWI and it continues till now. It was dramatically increased during the era of the wars. Early immigrations involved unskilled and illiterate people whose common labor was peddling. Peddling vastly enabled immigrants assimilate into American multi-cultures. It is the base on which the history of Arab American is documented. The paper is aimed to discuss the concept of immigration first, investigating the three distinctive waves of Arab immigrants to the United States, focusing on early migrations and early American cultures, the act of peddling, and how Arab immigrants assimilated to the American society. The study will answer the questions: How did Alixa Naff become American? What experience did she lead? And how did she affect the society of Arab Americans? The study originally depended on Naff's Collections which is a key insight of experiences of the first wave Arab Immigrants based on oral real history interviewed by immigrants in the new country.

The present studies examined the conditions under which low subjective socioeconomic status (SES) is associated with greater racial/ethnic prejudice among White Americans. Based on theories of intergroup threat and inclusive victim consciousness, we predicted that describing racial/ethnic minorities as disadvantaged (versus as competitive or in neutral terms) would increase empathy and reduce prejudice among White Americans who consider themselves low in SES. Study 1 provided correlational evidence that White Americans who perceived themselves as low-SES (but not high-SES) were less prejudiced against racial/ethnic minorities the more they perceived minorities as disadvantaged. In Study 2, portraying the target outgroup (Arab immigrants) as disadvantaged increased outgroup empathy, and in turn reduced prejudice, among participants induced to think of themselves as low-SES. Study 3 conceptually replicated these results using a different outgroup (Mexican Americans) and a behavioral measure of prejudice. Implications for reducing prejudice among White Americans of different socioeconomic backgrounds are discussed.

The socio-cultural adaptation and economic integration of labor immigrants from the Arab East in Europe remains, until now, an insufficiently studied phenomenon. Meanwhile, this topic is related to solving the issues of increasing the economic and social efficiency of labor immigration to main European cities, and the conclusions of the study may be in demand, including in our country. We have used the method of rapid (three-question) survey of these immigrants. Special attention is paid to labor immigrants in Germany and Bulgaria. A certain disunity between Arab communities from different Mashriq countries, a significant business and cultural distance with people from the Maghreb is revealed. There is a difference in world view between Eastern Arab immigrants and European residents, as well as a relative diasporal isolation (cultural and business) of labor immigrants. The difference in the situation of the communities under consideration in several European countries is small. It is based on the comparable rootedness of communities, primarily in the respective diasporal networks more than in the local business environment. A long-term forecast for the development of migration to Europe is given, which implies that the dynamics of immigration of Eastern Arabs will not grow, but will even decrease over time.

Sekalipun penduduk pribumi belum banyak yang memeluk agama Islam, tapi komunitas Muslim pertama telah terbentuk yang terdiri dari orang-orang Arab pendatang dan penduduk lokal, seperti yang didapatkan para pengelana Cina di pesisir utara Sumatera (Aceh) dan komunitas Islam di wilayah Sriwijaya.  Abstract Islam was not born in Indonesia, but it is this country which has the largest Muslim population in the world. How does this religion enter and develop among the various ethnic groups and cultures in the Nusantara ? Arab traders who came from the Arabian peninsula to the north coast of Sumatra (Aceh) in the 7th century AD, apart from trading, they also spread Islam and married local women. Although not many indigenous people have embraced Islam, the first Muslim community has been formed consisting of Arab immigrants and local residents, as found by Chinese travelers on the north coast of Sumatra (Aceh) and the Islamic community in the Sriwijaya region.

Texas A&M, a public land grant university in College Station, Texas, has a long history of engagement with the Bush family. These ties highlight the university's entanglement with US imperial enterprises, which extend into the Persian Gulf. George H. W. Bush's own explanation of why he decided to place his presidential library at the campus despite not attending Texas A&M focused on these connections: “Over the years, Aggies have provided great service to the Armed Forces of our country. Patriotism abounds at A&M.” Meanwhile, Qatar hosts the largest concentration of US troops abroad. The US military's Central Command is at Al Udeid Air Base, not far from the Education City complex that hosts TAMUQ and several branch campuses of American and other foreign universities. The students at these institutions are Qatari citizens, South Asian and Arab immigrants, and international students, primarily from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

No doubt that modern Arab literature has been influenced by Western literature more than it was influenced by ancient Arabic literature, whether by the missionaries, occupiers, merchants, and investors who arrived at Arab countries or by the scientific missions sent by Arab countries to European capitals or by Arab immigrants to the West. This influence was either through the translation, or through reading in the original languages ​​of Western literature, and this second method was more influential in modern Arabic literature, because translation loses many of the characteristics of artistic literatures that have a close connection with the language.. We mentioned in this research the link between East and West, and between Arab literature and European literature, and the features of impact between them through the process of transferring the literary heritage from East to West through several crossings, and its study to extract the literary and cultural treasures through the efforts of missionaries from Orientalists that were the first nucleus of modern Western civilization. We also dealt with the features of renewal in Arabic literature, Arabic poetry and its schools in the modern era. We focused on the Divan school, the Apollo school and Diaspora School, especially the nature of poetry and truth of free modern realist poetry. We also mentioned the high demand for translated eastern literature in European countries, and its inclusion by the writers, poets and writers in their literary writings. We used the descriptive approach that is always suitable for such literary and critical topics.
