The study investigates the stylistic features of English football news from the perspective of general stylistics. Stylistics, as a discipline based on modern linguistic theories, turns to studying non-literary texts from the perspective of stylistics. The study examines English football news from the three levels of stylistic analysis, namely lexis, syntax and semantics. Compared with other news types, English football news are less attracted to linguistics, and most of the previous studies are focused on the research of the title. This study employs samples of English football news from the official website of the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The findings of this study suggest that at the lexical level, the use of technical terms, abbreviation, nicknames, neologism and numbers highlights the uniqueness of English football news in lexical use, thereby saving space, increasing readability and narrowing the distance between news editors and readers; at the syntactic level, the special stylistic features of English football news are mainly reflected in the unmarked theme and singular form of a plural concept; and the use of rhetorical devices such as metaphor, hyperbole and personification to achieve semantic variation reflects the stylistic features of English football news at the semantic level.

In every phase of the conflict in Afghanistan, serious War Crimes and crimes against humanity were committed, resulting in mass killings and forced displacement of millions of Afghan civilians and political opponents. Based on relevant literature, this article investigates the political factors responsible for the failure of transitional justice in Afghanistan, particularly internal and external factors. The article also brings to the fore the impact of the dual process of state-building and peace-building on the implementation of transitional justice. In addition, the paper investigates why the 'Peace first and justice later' strategy proved to be unsuccessful in Afghanistan as the Taliban continued their atrocities, fighting Afghan forces and killing innocent people in suicide attacks. The paper finds that the failure of transitional justice in Afghanistan is due to both internal and external factors. Further, the paper finds that Afghanistan has never been a post-conflict state, unlike other countries that have experienced transitional justice processes. Therefore transitional justice measures were never implemented.

This paper attempts to explore the topic of the unemployment crisis among fresh graduates. The two main objectives of the study are to examine the influence factors of the unemployment crisis among fresh graduates in Malaysia, and the primary determinant of the unemployment has culminated in many policy implications for higher education. The unemployment rate among fresh graduates increased to 25% in 2020 than the year before, jumping from 13.8%. The null hypothesis is that employer preference, candidate attributes, and economic instability have no significant effect on the unemployment crisis. The information for the paper typically originates from a questionnaire survey method, with one hundred and thirty fresh graduates' participation in this study. The statistical approach is required to analyze numerical data using SPSS applications. Descriptive analyses such as frequency and simple percentages on demographic characteristics were used to analyze data. Inferential statistics such as linear bivariate correlation was used to test the formulated hypothesis. The finding demonstrated a significant association between employer preference, candidate attributes, and economic instability with the unemployment crisis. This finding would shed light on more preparation for fresh graduates' employability who preserve searching for a job by the education ministry. Hopefully, a revision in the academic higher education curriculum is considered to meet the job market's and stakeholders' needs for better graduate employability.

Vietnam is a developing country, often adversely affected by environmental pollution and climate change. One of the main reasons leading to this situation is outdated production technologies, which is not environmentally friendly. This situation has been causing serious impacts on the economy and society of this country. According to the experience of developed countries and to fulfill national commitments on the environment, investment projects in production and business are encouraged to be implemented in an environmentally friendly manner. To do this, investors, especially businesses, need to mobilize a certain financial source to equip facilities and production technologies that cause less pollution. Among financial instruments, green bonds are an emerging factor applied by many countries around the world and Vietnam is also ready to test it. However, up to now, the issuance of green bonds in Vietnam has not been possible because of the lack of a complete legal mechanism. So, this article will analyze Vietnamese law on this issue on the basis of learning experiences from other countries to come up with a complete solution for Vietnam.

Listening centralizes upon the comprehension of messages coupled with pronunciations or sounds from speakers-be they are native or non-native and local or foreigner in the scopes of formal conversation, business talk and classroom lectures in the context of Bangladesh. Bangladeshi learners find listening as a complex and incomprehensible skill of four skills of English language. They often are not able to understand pronunciation patterns and accentual variations used in speeches or conversations. Listening requires systematic strategies in understanding audio or vocal track for which logistic support is highly essential. Managing technical support is at times difficult for teachers and administration because of financial constraints. This study will concentrate on how teachers ensure pedagogical supports and experimental aspects to help learners understand listening effectively with methodological study. This paper will deal with how learners overcome the stages of listening difficulties and comprehend different phonological aspects successfully. In addition, one of the prime concentrations of this paper is to identify impediments of teaching listening, teachers’ inefficiency in listening skill and students’ negligence in achieving mastery on listening.

The study investigates the tobacco-related content on new media and its exposure among university students in Bangladesh. A cross-sectional study design based on mixed-method approach had been used to conduct this study. A sample of 405 respondents were selected from eight public universities in Bangladesh for the survey questionnaire. Besides, 20 key informant interviews were conducted with structured question, and a checklist used for new media observation regarding tobacco-related contents. Quantitative analysis performed with descriptive and inferential statistics for survey data, while thematic analysis followed for qualitative data. The study revealed that 43.5% of respondents were exposed to tobacco-related content (TRC) in New Media. Regarding exposure to TRC, Facebook (43.5%) was on the top, followed by YouTube (39.2%), Instagram (35.6%), Online Newspaper (25.2%), Blog (22.2%) and Twitter (12.5%). Study shows that one-fifth of the respondents (20.2%) had an engagement with these TRC by post, share, like and comment through Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. KII explored that TI promotes their products using names and logos, violating the TAPS ban, which was shared by new media users and exposed to university students. Finally, the study concludes that for attracting the university students, the tobacco industry has developed different tools and techniques in new media.

The current research compared and analysed the tensile strength of silver soldered stainless steel and cobalt-chromium orthodontic wire joints with band material The effect of joint site planning on various orthodontic joining configurations was investigated. A total of sixty wire specimens were chosen, thirty in the stainless-steel group and thirty in the cobalt – chromium group. Again, each group's sample was divided into three subgroups, namely End – End, Round, and Orthodontic band material. The study findings suggested all three configurations can be used to make silver soldered joints regardless of the wire consistency. When subjecting the wire to joint site planning, however, stainless steel wire should be used with its limitations in mind.

The peculiarity of the African iron industry is its cultural dimension; where in, symbolism was evident in virtually all the stages of the production chain. With the use of archival, secondary and oral sources, this paper investigated the Taavisa slag heap which revealed that smelting residue was cleared to create space for a royal cemetery and a hut constructed over the grave of Fon (king) Sanggu of Nso’ around 1750. Sanggu was probably the seventeenth Sovereign of the Nso’ Dynasty at Kovifem, who died while in refuge on the peripheries of his kingdom, subjected to Chamba and later Fulani raids. Taavisa was a retreat spot in several situations and developed into a rest palace for reigning Fons of Nso’. Given its strategic location, smelting, pre-forging and sanctity which emanated from iron works, this old iron working site became a place of honour and thus mutated into a shrine. Thus, multidimensional values attached to Taavisa account for Nso’ seizure of the area and subsequent expansion towards its southern boarder Fondoms (Kingdoms). A new element therefore adds to symbolisms attached to the African iron industry that is: a smelting site turned into a royal cemetery.
