Due to the limitation of time and space, the traditional photographic image intelligent fuzzy teaching system can not provide targeted auxiliary teaching for students with different learning abilities. The design of intelligent fuzzy assistant teaching system of photographic image based on augmented reality and web is carried out, including the hardware design of server and peripheral equipment selection, and the design of intelligent fuzzy assistant teaching system of photographic image based on Web and augmented reality, such as intelligent fuzzy assistant teaching display, student learning behavior evaluation software design, etc. Experiments show that, compared with the traditional system, the photographic image intelligent fuzzy assistant teaching system based on augmented reality and web has more correct allocation of teaching resources, stronger pertinence and practical value.

Fog computing is a segment of cloud computing where a vast number of peripheral equipment links to the internet. The term "fog" indicates the edges of a cloud in which high performance can be achieved. Many of these devices will generate voluminous raw data as from sensors, and rather than forward all this data to cloud-based servers to be processed, the idea behind fog computing is to do as much processing as possible using computing units co-located with the data-generating devices, so that processed rather than raw data is forwarded, and bandwidth requirements are reduced. A major advantage of processing locally is that data is more often used for the same computation machine which produced the data. Also, the latency between data production and data consumption was reduced. This example is not fully original, since specially programmed hardware has long been used for signal processing. The work presents the integration of software defined networking with the association of fog environment to have the cavernous implementation patterns in the health care industry with higher degree of accuracy.

Amidst rapid diagnostic kits, reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) has emerged as a rapid point-of-care testing (POCT) method during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many POCT kits rely on plate readers or visual classifications, these processes require experienced staff, and with the use of plate readers, the need for peripheral equipment and infrastructure as well. To address the gap and ensure objectivity in colorimetric POCT kits, the Automated Product Determination (APD) LAMP Diagnostic App was developed for automatic colorimetric analysis of single to multiple LAMP samples. Leveraging on the smartphone camera, barcode-based documentation feature, and a colour distance formula, the app algorithm calculates RGB values, labelling samples as “positive” when yellow, “negative” when pink, and “unknown” when orange. The APD Lamp diagnostic app for Android hereby demonstrates the integration of smartphone apps in POCT kits and ways the smartphone revolution changes laboratory processes to be timely and on-the-go.

The paper addresses relevant issues applying the concept of Industry 4.0 in related to modeling infrastructure objects at the Baikal natural territory that use environmentally friendly technologies. In particular, the use of heat pumps belongs to such technologies, since this enables us to reduce air emissions. Object models are designed on the basis of their digital twins. Digital twins are intended to reflect the structure and processes of object functioning. In addition, we plan to delegate them the decision-making in managing these objects in real-time. Such a digital twin has to become smarter over time. This virtual entity has to gain knowledge and skills to select optimal scenarios for controlling object and improving its functioning parameters. Therefore, the initial problem in its development is creating a monitoring system for the collection, unification, aggregation, storage, and transmission of subject-oriented data. Such data include information about the object operation and environmental state. The data must be promptly obtained from peripheral equipment (controlling and measuring devices). For the effective operation of a digital twin, we have to partially transfer functions of primary data processing, their intellectual analysis and decision-making to the controlling and measuring devices. To this end, we use agents that implement software on peripheral equipment.

The first chapter contains definitions of the main concepts in this book: instrumentation and control (I&C) system, individual and overall I&C system, central part of the I&C system and peripheral equipment, software-hardware complex (SHC), commercial of the shelf products (COTS), platforms (equipment family), functional safety. Differences between the SHC and I&C systems are explained. General information about I&C systems, based on the use facilities for obtaining, transfer, processing, and display of data, is provided. The main peculiarities of I&C systems, which are described in more detail in further chapters of this book, are considered. Information about functional safety of NPP I&C systems is described. A brief description of general aspects of cyber security of NPP I&C systems is given.
