Abstract The church today begins to lose its essence and main purpose to preach the gospel. One of the factors that causes the church to be less than optimal in preaching the gospel is the weakness of its mission leadership. Mission leadership is a person's ability to influence and move people to be actively involved in God's mission. One of the great figures in the missionary movement in the world was the Apostle Paul. Therefore, this study aims to determine the character of mission leadership carried out by Paul and link it to the implications for leaders on current missions. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The result of this research is that there are 5 principles of Paul's mission leadership that can be implicated for today's leaders, namely praying and being actively involved in preaching the gospel (Integrity). Then educate the congregation and produce local leaders. And setting missionary standards and preparing missionaries to be sent. And that further supports missionaries through prayer, motivation, and finding solutions to every problem. Then the last, above all the strategies that Paul did, Paul always depended on God

The promotion of religious freedom and the general pervasion of pluralism across the globe necessitate the need for Christians to review how they evangelize among people of other faiths and those of no faith. One of the mechanisms that has gained prominence in this regard is the promotion of the concept of interfaith dialogue. This article examines areas of convergence between this concept and evangelism through literature study. Following an interpretive approach, the study determined that both concepts have a distinctive but complementary relationship, both promote mutual respect and consider intercultural communication and contextualization. Written from the Christian faith perspective, the article argues that both evangelism and interfaith dialogue could be used by Christians to further God’s mission in contemporary society. As interfaith dialogue promotes neighborliness, the article recommends that it should be embraced by adherents of all faiths. As it has been written from the perspective of the Christian faith, it further recommends that while evangelical witness should be done with respect for other faiths, evangelizers should not neglect the worth of the commission received from Jesus Christ. These recommendations and those from empirical studies conducted on this topic should be tested through further studies in various contexts. This paper seeks to contribute to existing knowledge in interfaith dialogue and evangelism in the sub-discipline of missiology. Keywords: Evangelism, Interfaith Dialogue, Ecumenical Movement, Mission

Jesus, reflecting on the context of the mission in the Gospels, often touches on various dimensions, both physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual for each person and his environment. Many Gospel narratives show the face of friendliness as well as the social responsibility of Jesus in public spaces. Jesus didn't just stop at the gracious nature of God in His mission of ministry but also inspired his listeners to bring out the same kind of hospitality that Jesus did. This needs to reflect the portrait of church life in Indonesian society, which in general tends to focus on religious formalism. This paper aims to explore the concept of Jesus' mission and to realize it practically in the context of Indonesian society today. The method used is descriptive analysis and a hermeneutic approach to the narratives in the Gospels. This study seeks to offer a contextual concept and model of Jesus' ministry to the community served not only as an object of God's hospitality but also as a subject who actively participates in presenting hospitality in public spaces. In conclusion, the mission that Jesus intended to be carried forward by the church was God's mission which Jesus himself had accomplished during his earthly ministry, namely manifesting God's hospitality for humans through the preaching of the gospel and social care.

The church is called catholic because it is open and intended for anyone. The presence of the Church during the Covid-19 Pandemic should really be felt in the life of faith, especially for Catholic students who have migrated to Malang. The church must not shut down and avoid the needs of God's people, despite the compelling circumstances of the era. The church must be committed to God's mission in a creative way, which is to spread the gospel throughout the world. In research on the presence of the church in the pandemic time Covid-19 for belief life, overseas catholic students in Malang will use the questionnaire method to obtain data. The questionnaire is for Catholic students who have migrated to Malang. The results of the study showed that most of the Catholic students understand about the Corona Virus Pandemic and most of them live in rented houses. The church still feels that it continues to try to greet them even though the situation is not supportive, even for students who migrate to Malang. Students actually feel a sense of abandonment because of a pandemic that never ends and which causes church life to not return to normal soon.

This article reflects on how the COVID-19 pandemic gives the church an opportunity to reconsider what the centre of God’s mission is for the congregation. It will engage on the implications of its reflections for public practical theology and congregational development. Spurred by an electronic opinion poll carried out by the author on six focus groups on WhatsApp platforms, averaging 200 participants each, during the lockdown days in Ghana, the question was put, “What one thing do you miss about church during the lock down period?” Majority of respondents mentioned communal fellowship (Konoinia) as the most missed aspect of congregational life. This article reflects on suggestions engendered by this observation and how it helps congregations to discern what makes them relevant to their members. Thus, helping congregations to envision the future, invoke dreams of a new creation where a return to normality will birth a world in which the church would take a new shape, presenting a fresh sense of missional community able to bring God to the people of our day.

The Church is a fellowship of the sinners who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. Ironically, even after receiving forgiveness of sin, congregations are still human beings who still have the potential to do sin or mistake. It can happen to anyone, whether he is a church member, servant, or even pastor. Besides that, sin and mistake can happen in multiple forms and places, internally or externally. This article itself is an effort to find a biblical formulation in order to face this reality within the church ministry. This formulation can be found within Matthew 18:15-17 which contains a special discourse in Matthew concerning the church. The Church often understands Missio Dei or God’s mission only for non-Christian. According to this research, by using a descriptive-analytical method toward Matthew 18:15-17, which is a proportional hermeneutic approach, there seems a concept that Missio Dei also goes to Christians who live in sin. God loves sinners and because of that, He arranges how a Christian community faces its members who did sin. In this case, Matthew 18:15-17 teaches a concept that Missio Dei happens in multidimensional, including the one who has known God, yet falls in sin again.

Theological education is in crisis having lost an important dimension with its main focus on quality academics often abstracted from real life. This study aimed to propose that the formation of spirituality is fundamental to theological education and that theological education should be a holistic formation. The setting of this study is re-imaging theological education in the Dutch Reformed Church (DRC), a denomination in the process of missional transformation, but it is also applicable to theological education in general. This study focused on the relation between theology and spirituality, the significance of missional spirituality in theological education and a probable model for the formation of a missional spirituality. The study found that theology and spirituality are interdependent, and theological education should thus focus on all the different areas of learning and formation, that is, minimum knowledge base, pass-on-able habits and skills, and attitudes and beliefs. Theological education should ultimately cultivate a missional spirituality, forming missional leaders for the church. Leaders who are equipped are able to equip others for God’s mission. Theological education is not about obtaining a degree but in essence a process of formation and transformation. Wright asks: if the gospel is not transforming you, will it transform anything else? Transformation to be able to transform – a missional metanoia.Contribution: This study provides a probable model for holistic theological education and the formation of a missional spirituality.

The implementation of God's mission in the context of cultural diversity in Indonesia is important to study considering that the church has the responsibility to carry out the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus to the nations. The culturally diverse situation of Indonesian society poses a formidable challenge for evangelists because they cannot apply one specific method that can be applied to the entire community. Some churches still apply the mission model inherited by Zending. The Colonial Model is considered less effective due to the growing culture of Indonesian society. Therefore, flexible mission implementation principles are needed, according to the context of society in Indonesia without compromising the biblical meaning of the gospel. This article was compiled by examining the facts of the cultural life of the Indonesian people who are diverse in culture and examining the word of God which contains teachings on the principle of preaching the gospel to all nations. The research process in this article is carried out by conducting library research on the condition of cultural diversity in Indonesia and examining relevant biblical records in carrying out missions in Indonesia. The result is a mission implementation model that takes into account the cultural context, a christocentric mission without losing the Indonesian values of the local community.
