Between 2017 and 2019 I went through the experience of depression and consequently I developed anxiety. In the beginning, in the months of November and December 2017, I found myself in a deep despair, not knowing how to identify what was happening. As an intervention, I went through consultations with the psychologist, where I had conversations, writing and positive affirmations. After these consultations I improved and got out of my depressed state. Awareness in the consultations with the psychologist made me realize how far I was from who I am and from this contact with a professional I was able to gain clarity about my condition and learned techniques to maintain my self-care constant.

The Vessel Surveillance System (VSS), a crucial tool for fisheries monitoring, controlling, and surveillance, has been required to use for the reservation of the current depressed state of the world's fisheries by fisheries management agencies. An important issue in the vessel surveillance system is the classification of vessels. However, several factors, such as lighting, congestion, and sea state, will affect the vessel's appearance, making it more difficult to classify vessels. There are two main methods for conventional classifications of vessels: the traditional-based- characteristics method and the convolutional neural networks-used method. In this paper, we combine Gabor feature representation (GFR) and deep convolution neural network (DCNN) to classify vessels. Gabor filters in different directions and ratios are used to extract vessel characteristics to create a new image of vessels, which is DCNN's input. The visible and infrared spectrums (VAIS) dataset, the world's first publicly available dataset for paired infrared and visible vessel images, was used to validate the proposed method (GFR-DCNN). The numerical results showed that GFR-DCNN is more accurate than other methods.

The article presents an analysis of socio-economic reforms in Russia from the early 90s to the present, based on the concept of market liberalism and the maximum weakening of the role of the state in the economy. The negative result that this has led to in terms of the progressive development of society is shown. This makes it possible to assess the current state of the country's economy as a great Russian depression, similar to that Great Depression of the 30s. A possible alternative to the existing course of market liberalism in the form of the concept of the state planning and market economy and steps that will overcome the depressed state of the Russian economy and ensure its real progressive development, accompanied by a proportional improvement in the quality of life of most Russians.

Abstract Background Depression is a significant mental health problem which tends to be one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. Depression can lead to suicide and is the second leading cause of death in 15 - 29 year olds globally. Psychological morbidity in undergraduate students represents a neglected public health problem and holds major implications for campus health services and mental policy making. This study was therefore carried out to assess knowledge of depression, prevalence of depression and accuracy of depression status among students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and College of Medicine of the University of Lagos. Methods This was a descriptive cross-sectional study carried out among students on the College of Medicine campus of the University of Lagos. Multi-stage sampling technique was used to select the participants while data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire. Data was analysed using Epi info 7.0. Chi-square test was used to analyse categorical variables where p < 0.05 is statistically significant. Results A total of 400 students across all departments were recruited for this study. Most students were in 18 - 21 years' age group, with almost same proportion of females to males. More than half (56.50%) of the students had good knowledge of depression. The overall prevalence of depression was 36.5% among the students out of which 18.2% portrayed severe depression. More than half of the respondents (54.9%) who perceive they are depressed were actually not depressed. There was statistically significant difference between perceived depressed state and actual depressed state among the students (X2 = 18.14; p = 0.0001) Conclusions More than half the students possessed a good knowledge of depression. About one third were actually depressed. It is therefore important to create awareness programs which can serve as a platform to increase the knowledge and also reduce the prevalence of depression among these students. Key messages Understanding how much students know about depression will help to fill the identified knowledge gap and prevent them from going into depression. Identifying depressed students will help to alert campus health services to manage these students and thereby prevent potential problems associated with depression like suicide or school drop out.

Research on hypergalin lakes began in 1977. Commercial interest in Artemia (at the cysts stage) as a starter feed for aquatic organisms served as the basis for monitoring studies of hypergalin lakes in the Altai Territory. Lake Bolshaya Yarovoye is noted as one of the largest bodies of water in the region with a population of toad crustacean Artemia Leach, 1819. Considering the depressed state of development of the Artemia population in the lake Great Spring in the growing season of 2017 (the reservoir productivity was 5.8 kg / ha), monitoring studies were conducted to clarify the status of the productivity of aquatic bioresources. As a result of complex hydrobiological surveys in the spring period (April – May), 2018, the dynamics of indicators of the number of early stages of development of the first generation Artemia crustaceans and cysts in the lake are presented. Big Spring Altai Territory. The analysis of the influence of the temperature and salinity of the water in the spring of 2018 on the condition of Artemia crustaceans and the reservoir productivity was carried out. In the course of monitoring studies of the hypergalin reservoir in April and May 2018, during the development of the first generation of crustaceans, a depressive state of development of the Artemia crustacean population was revealed. The temperature at the beginning of the growing season of the current year was unfavorable for the development of Artemia in the lake, which resulted in low numbers of crustaceans. Given the depressed state of the development of the Artemia population in the lake. In the growing season of 2017, the Great Spring, the extraction of bioresources (Artemia (at the cysts stage)) at the current state of the population can significantly undermine the fishing base of the reservoir and damage the further development of Artemia.

Every child who is a victim in a crime of sexual violence or rape, at the trial stage the child victim must be a witness. The victim must repeat the story or incident that he experienced before the panel of judges, prosecutors of the defendant's lawyer and the defendant himself. The victim must not be positioned in a depressed state, both physically and psychologically. When the victim becomes a witness, the victim is treated as well as possible, in the sense that he must not be feared by outsiders both psychologically and psychologically

Abstract Background Many factors impact nutritional status in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). We undertook this study to evaluate the potential role that abdominal pain has on weight loss and dietary behavior in IBD. Methods This is a retrospective cohort study utilizing data from an IBD registry at our institution between January 1, 2015 and August 31, 2018. Pain scores and nutritional outcomes were derived from validated questionnaires while key associated clinical data were derived from the medical record. Results Three hundred and three patients (154 females; 206 Crohn’s disease) were included in this study. Ninety-six patients (31.7%) had experienced a 6-lb or greater weight loss in the prior month. On multivariate analysis, abdominal pain and anxious/depressed state were independently associated with weight loss, while female gender and NSAID use were inversely associated with weight loss (P < 0.05). IBD patients with abdominal pain also reported significantly poorer dietary behavior than those without this symptom. Conclusions Abdominal pain is more likely to result in negative dietary outcomes and independently associated with weight loss in IBD. IBD providers should screen for malnutrition when patients report abdominal pain.
