Introduction. The article aims to analyze the plot lines of the Kalmyk ‘Gesr bogdyn tusk tuuҗ’ (The Legend of Geser Bogdo), performed by Sh. D. Dordzhiev and written down in 1982. So far, the legend has not been examined. The present authors begin with analyzing the way the storyteller composes his narrative in terms of structure and content, while identifying parallels with other epic narratives of Geser. Materials and methods. The study focuses on The Legend of Geser Bogdo recorded from Sh. Dordzhiev, and special attention is paid to S. Neklyudov’s methodological generalizations on the scheme of typical elements within Mongolian epic narratives. Results. The analysis shows that the plot structure of the Legend of Geser Bogdo in question includes a set of motifs that are standard for Geser epic narratives and are logically consistent (heavenly origin, difficult childhood, marriage, demonic fight, etc.). At the same time, individual details of the narrative were modified to a degree. Two storylines (matrimonial and military) are clearly indicated by the narrative, which reflects the memory of Kalmyks of the special character of Geser, the warrior and the defeater of demons. The authors conclude that the Kalmyk Legend of Geser Bogdo was based on the well-known invariants of plot lines and motifs in the oral versions of Geser epic, creatively modified when performed by the narrator.

The Stewart's leg is used today in the majority of parallel robotic systems, such as the Stewart platform, but also in many other types of mechanisms and kinematic chains, in order to operate them or to transmit motion. A special character in the study of robots is the study of inverse kinematics, with the help of which the map of the motor kinematic parameters necessary to obtain the trajectories imposed on the effector can be made. For this reason, in the proposed mechanism, we will present reverse kinematic modeling in this paper. The kinematic output parameters, ie the parameters of the foot and practically of the end effector, ie those of the point marked with T, will be determined for initiating the working algorithm with the help of logical functions, "If log(ical)", with the observation that here they play the role of input parameters; it is positioned as already specified in the inverse kinematics when the output is considered as input and the input as output. The logical functions used, as well as the entire calculation program used, were written in Math Cad.

The paper deals with the matter investigating the nature of the aesthetic impact of the belles-lettres style being generated within the scope of great transfer from high Middle Ages to the start of Renaissance. In course of the analysis, some traditional ideas and terms adopted in the historical stylistics are used. The mentioned ideas turned up into being during the period of its discrimination from other disciplines of linguistic historical cycle. Acquired linguistic independence charged the ideas with the function of marking the borders between the historical stylistics and other disciplines mentioned. One of the markers of the type is the voluminous historism, i.e., co-relationship between stylistic phenomena and the context of their existing. Flexible borders of the latter regulated by targets and tasks of the proper research can be extended up to the certain type of culture. Importance of a special character gained by the medieval culture during the period of the international Gothic dominating when considered as a type of a context necessary for analysing the belles-lettres style generating corresponds to the importance of combining philological and non-philological kinds of practice and induced by the purpose to enrich the analysis as well as to increase the research output verification. It is suggested that the analysis of the elements of another semiotic nature presented by types and illustrations highly important for discursive strategies to influence the recipient should be thought of as an instance of a combination of the kind. One of the mighty instruments of the mentioned sort of the esthetic impact is the medieval illuminated book of the epoch of the international Gothic (XIV - XV centuries) dominating within the borders of European cultural space. Soft power, immanent to it, id est, some ability to modify emotional state of consciousness and behaviour of a recipient is characterised by semiotic attractionness and cognitive power, and embodies one of the type of strategies of the kind.

<p>This design research portfolio examines how interior architectural strategies might increase residential density through the adaptive reuse of historic buildings. The research aim is consistent with the Wellington City Council (WWC) urban development guide; with a projected Wellington population increase of around 45,000 by 2043. Such an increase justifies the research of strategies for increasing the density of residential areas. The urban development guide also outlines the projected population growth in specific areas of priority in Wellington (see numbers below). The overarching tone and message of the guide is consistent with The Atlantic’ s understanding that “reasons for preserving our existing building stock aren’t strictly cultural and sentimental; preservation should be understood as a land-use and economic tool that can be used to build denser, more attractive cities”. The main focus of the research is therefore to use interior architecture to produce a ‘liveable’ and ‘compact’ city, including how interior architecture could protect and enhance the special character of the inner city suburbs (a desire of the WCC)</p>

This study aims to explain and identify the methods used in internalizing Islamic characters in boarding-based public schools. Public schools that implement a boarding system have a unique and special character. It is different from Islamic education which has been firmly embedded in schools that have been based on pesantren since the beginning. This research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that internalization of Islamic characters through subjects in the dormitory, such as the study of classical Islamic books (Fiqhu Sunnah, Aqidatul Awwan, Bidayatul Mujtahid, etc) and self-development activities in the form of extracurricular and organizational activities. The used methods are the wisdom method, exemplary method, habitual method, mauidzah method, and the reward and punishment method. Unlike pesantren culture which is closely tied to the figure of the kyai, the dormitory-based State Islamic schools tend to be weak in terms of the initiative and charisma of the kyai who the leaders are. Individually, kyai figures in boarding-based public boarding schools do not have as strong a role as those in pesantren. However, the ustad and coach figures play a collective and joint role in building students' Islamic character. Keywords: Islamic Character, Madrasah Aliyah, Boarding System, Public Schools

The importance deliberation models in the formation and streamlining of political democratization is crucial in the context of deepening of the global crisis. In the article are emphasized several important aspects regarding the specific of the contemporary global crisis in the perspective of better institutionalization and instrumentalization of normative and deliberation-election components of political democratization. The stringent necessity of overcoming the global menaces imprint a special character to the political processes such as elections or public deliberations, creating new forms of political behavior. These political processes have to be better organized and more efficient in the way to fulfill functional goals of the strategy of overcoming global crisis. The socio-political, economic, cultural, religious, ethical, mental or technological-communicative differences, with a major impact on living standards, on the quality of life standards in human communities inhabiting planet Earth, contribute to the strengthening of mankind's potential to cope with the most violent and destructive effects and results of the multidimensional global crisis, through the diversity of chances and identities it generates. Moral and legal norms must be respected as well, for minimizing the macro-systemic impact of any types of deflections during democratic deliberations and elections. In this piece of work is discussed as well the contribution of ethical conceptions to the facilitation and increasing of the deliberative liberty as a basic condition of the contemporary processes of democratization of the society. Amplifying of the insecurity at global scale plays a negative role of the adverse social-political environment in the progress of democratization and freedom of political debates and elections.

Introduction: Amman’s growth expansion was shaped by its topography (valleys and hills), which generated a special character and patterns of the urban form. The city was built on seven hills, which are connected by steep stairs that serve as pathways to the downtown core. The rapid urbanization caused by uncontrolled population growth, as well as random and unplanned formations that were far from following any kind of aesthetic, resulted in the expansion of the center towards the surrounding seven hills. The continuous intersection of these hills caused their boundaries to blur and melt. As a result of the intense transformation, which is causing the hills’ appearance to become more uniform, their continuing overlap may completely destroy the unique character and imageability of downtown Amman. Methods: This research made use of topographical context analysis and the Geographical Information System (GIS) as well as its 3D modeling function to identify the optimal visibility and viewing angle when looking from the valley towards the hills and between the hills. Results and discussion: We identified the main vistas, i.e., highly significant views, which could subsequently be adopted as the locations for proposing landmark scenarios via 3D model GIS analysis. The projection process helped determine the significant views from the valley towards the hills and between the hills. Overall, three scenarios were proposed for the landmarks, out of which, the best one was chosen. It corresponds to the topographical analysis and the community needs, depends upon the local context and urban fabric, and is optimal for decision-making.
