Abstract This paper presents a sliding wire detection system of electric screw locking tool based on the characteristics of motor. The system can judge whether the screw has sliding wire through the current change of motor during normal operation, and realize the real-time detection and alarm of sliding wire. The system has the advantages of high sensitivity, low cost and high accuracy. It can be widely used in automatic assembly and other fields.

AbstractWe consider a spatial extension of genuine savings and wealth as a capital-based indicator of sustainability. In both inefficient and efficient economies, where well-being is locally or globally maximized, respectively, the well-known Hotelling rule and Hartwick (Dixit–Hammond–Hoel) investment rules and results are extended, depending on the extent of the spatial diffusion of natural capital. It is shown that the net present value of any future change in neighboring resource stocks affects the current change in intergenerational well-being. Numerical examples show the relevance of such parameters as the diffusion rate, discount rate, and marginal utility of consumption. Moreover, they suggest the exact adjustments to be made in aggregating or disaggregating the sustainability of different spatial units, which is not addressed in the current practice of green or wealth accounting.

Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law was formally established in November, 2020 at the First Central Conference on Work Related to Overall Law-based Governance in the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It includes a wealth of ideas about international law, which are embodied in his propositions on and accounts of international law, and it has been developed under the current change of the world situation never seen for a century. Essentially, for his thought on international law, the core principles are the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, and the central idea is to promote building a community with a shared future for mankind, and the main proposition is that the common values of mankind be the guideline for the global governance and international law. As reflected in his thought on the rule of law, the international governance of law is also closely related to the domestic rule of law. His propositions concerning the international governance of law shall be the important guidelines for China to study and practice international law, and will promote and then lead the progress and development of contemporary international law.

The current change in lifestyle and the rapid development of the world has led to the rise in mental health issues and symptoms of mental health problems. Therefore, the objective of this study was to examine the respondents' perceptions and mental health differences in terms of gender and personal status as well as the relationship between social support and mental health. This study is a quantitative study that used questionnaires to obtain data. The sample consisted of 103 police officers in the training, management and administration and operations departments. Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 21 (DASS 21) and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) were used as study instruments. The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 18 and using descriptive statistics and inference statistics. The findings show that mental health conditions are affected by social support received.

AbstractIn industry, there is at once a strong need for innovation and a need to preserve the existing system of production. Thus, although the literature insists on the necessity of the current change toward Industry 4.0, how to implement it remains problematic because the preservation of the factory is at stake. Moreover, the question of the evolution of the system depends on its innovative capability, but it is difficult to understand how a new rule can be designed and implemented in a factory. This tension between preservation and innovation is often explained in the literature as a process of creative destruction. Looking at the problem from another perspective, this article models the factory as a site of creative heritage, enabling creation within tradition, i.e., creating new rules while preserving the system of rules. Two case studies are presented to illustrate the model. The paper shows that design in the factory relies on the ability to validate solutions. To do so, the design process can explore and give new meaning to the existing rules. The role of innovation management is to choose the degree of revision of the rules and to make it possible.

Pyro-breaker, a fast-responding, highly reliable and explosive-driven circuit breaker, is utilized in several Quench Protection Systems (QPS). The commutation process and its parameters are the main technical considerations in the process of designing a new pyro-breaker. The commutation parameters, such as the commutation time and the current change rate, are not only determined by the electrical parameters of the commutation circuit but also the arc behavior during the operation. The arc behavior is greatly affected by the structure and the driving mechanism of the Commutation Section (CS) in the pyro-breaker. The arc model was developed decades ago and the black-box arc model is considered a valid method to study arc behavior. In this paper, the Schavemaker black-box arc model, an improved Mayr-type arc model, is applied to study the commutation process of a newly designed pyro-breaker. Unlike normal circuit breakers, the arc discussed in this paper is discharged in deionized water. A parameter selection method is proposed. The practicability of the method is verified by numerical calculation in Power Systems Computer Aided Design (PSCAD) and experimentally.

The article is devoted to the problem of assessing the quality of scientific publications. It is emphasized that the formal ranking of an article is currently determined, as a rule, not so much by the data obtained or formulated concepts, as by the scientometric indicators of the corresponding journals. Approaches to determining the ranking of an article based on the analysis of its citation (impact factor and its analogues) and the number of mentions in social networks (so called altmetrics), as well as the number of downloads of the paper from the publisher’s website are considered. The authors emphasize the significant role of the appearance of author-paid articles in the current change in the situation with scientific publications. It is assumed that the thorough commercialization of the process of publishing their works by scientists has led to a serious deterioration in their scientific component due to the reducing requirements for the format and content of manuscripts sent to the editors of paid journals. The authors express the hope that the “informal” approach to the evaluation of scientific articles, which is based on their content, but not the ratings of the editions that published these works, has not lost its relevance even at the present stage.

In this study, we attempted to reveal the reasons for possible debt changes regarding the sensitivity of capital change indices in emerging economies to global financial risks and the meaning of possible correlation effects at the global level. Overcoming to Global economic and financial instabilities in emerging economies have required to take different fiscal measure have been aimed at balancing the rising interest rates and global financial change costs, which are caused by rising global priority costs. The external effects of global financial shocks in emerging economies led to a significant increase in global borrowing in these economies. In other words, in these countries representing emerging economies at different levels of development, they have also provided a reason for the inclusion of different financial and monetary policies in the process. Sensitivity to global financial shocks in emerging economies is related to the structural characteristics of countries and structural impact scales and correlations regarding which markets are affected by the needs. In this respect, it appears that the developments regarding the sectors, especially the capital flow, are meaningful in terms of indexes created by the periodic changes in the values of the current change. In this respect, in emerging economies, these shocks mostly emerge with effects giving different correlation results in countries that differ according to global crises and have other capital accumulations. The remarkable point in terms of the correlations determined here is that debt ratios and capital accumulation variations in emerging economies have put forth a significant correlation in a period of global financial shocks.

AbstractVarious studies on multi-valued-logic (MVL) computing, which utilizes more than two logic states, have recently been resumed owing to the demand for greater power saving in the current logic technologies. In particular, unlike old-fashioned researches, extensive efforts have been focused on implementing single devices with multiple threshold voltages via a negative-differential current change phenomenon. In this work, we report a multiple negative-differential-transconductance (NDT) phenomenon, which is achieved through the control of partial gate potential and light power/wavelength in a van-der-Waals (vdW) multi-channel phototransistor. The partial gating formed a controllable potential barrier/well in the vdW channel, enabling control over the collection of carriers and eventually inducing the NDT phenomenon. Especially, the strategy shining lights with different powers/wavelengths facilitated the precise NDT control and the realization of the multiple NDT phenomenon. Finally, the usability of this multiple NDT device as a core device of MVL arithmetic circuits such as MVL inverters/NAND/NOR gates is demonstrated.
