AbstractOur present work explores the possibility of neutrino mass generation through Type-I see-saw mechanism and provides an explanation of the baryon asymmetry of the Universe via thermal leptogenesis in the framework of a $$Z_3$$ Z 3 -symmetric three Higgs doublet model (3HDM) augmented with three right-handed neutrinos. Here the thermal leptogenesis is initiated by the out-of-equilibrium decay of the lightest heavy neutrino $$N_1$$ N 1 . The constraints arising out of the scalar sector put strong bound on the model parameter $$\tan \beta $$ tan β , which in turn takes part in the computation of the lepton asymmetry $$\epsilon $$ ϵ . Lepton asymmetry being converted partially into the baryon asymmetry by electroweak sphelaron processes, will account for the required baryon asymmetry satisfying the current data. We therefore analyse the parameter space consistent with the constraints arising from neutrino oscillation, lepton asymmetry and baryon asymmetry together, last one turning out to be the most stringent one.

ABSTRACT By assuming the formation of a black hole soon after the merger event of GW170817, the maximum mass of non-rotating stable neutron star, MTOV ≃ 2.3 M⊙, is proposed by numerical relativity, but there is no solid evidence to rule out MTOV > 2.3 M⊙ from the point of both microphysical and astrophysical views. It is naturally expected that the equation of state (EOS) would become stiffer beyond a specific density to explain massive pulsars. We consider the possibility of EOSs with MTOV > 2.3 M⊙, investigating the stiffness and the transition density in a polytropic model, for two kinds of neutron stars (i.e. gravity-bound and strong-bound stars on surface). Only two parameters are input in both cases: (ρt, γ) for gravity-bound neutron stars, while (ρs, γ) for strong-bound strange stars, with ρt the transition density, ρs the surface density, and γ the polytropic exponent. In the matter of MTOV > 2.3 M⊙ for the maximum mass and 70 ≤ Λ1.4 ≤ 580 for the tidal deformability, it is found that the smallest ρt and γ should be ∼0.50 ρ0 and ∼2.65 for neutron stars, respectively, whereas for strange star, we have γ > 1.40 if ρs > 1.0 ρ0 (ρ0 is the nuclear saturation density). These parametric results could guide further research of the real EOS with any foundation of microphysics if a pulsar mass higher than 2.3 M⊙ is measured in the future, especially for an essential comparison of allowed parameter space between gravity-bound and strong-bound compact stars.

Large-scale quantum computing poses a major threat to classical public-key cryptography. Recently, strong “quantum access” security models have shown that numerous symmetric-key cryptosystems are also vulnerable. In this paper, we consider classical encryption in a model that grants the adversary quantum oracle access to encryption and decryption, but where we restrict the latter to non-adaptive (i.e., pre-challenge) queries only. We formalize this model using appropriate notions of ciphertext indistinguishability and semantic security (which are equivalent by standard arguments) and call it QCCA 1 in analogy to the classical CCA 1 security model. We show that the standard pseudorandom function ( PRF )-based encryption schemes are QCCA 1 -secure when instantiated with quantum-secure primitives. Our security proofs use a strong bound on quantum random-access codes with shared randomness. Revisiting plain IND − CPA -secure Learning with Errors ( LWE ) encryption, we show that leaking only a single quantum decryption query (and no other leakage or queries of any kind) allows the adversary to recover the full secret key with constant success probability. Information-theoretically, full recovery of the key in the classical setting requires at least a linear number of decryption queries. Our results thus challenge the notion that LWE is unconditionally “just as secure” quantumly as it is classically. The algorithm at the core of our attack is a new variant of the well-known Bernstein–Vazirani algorithm. Finally, we emphasize that our results should not be interpreted as a weakness of these cryptosystems in their stated security setting (i.e., post-quantum chosen-plaintext secrecy). Rather, our results mean that, if these cryptosystems are exposed to chosen-ciphertext attacks (e.g., as a result of deployment in an inappropriate real-world setting) then quantum attacks are even more devastating than classical ones.

The aim of this paper regarding Pavol Strauss‘ Literary Work in the Central European Context is to introduce Pavol Strauss as a man and a writer, who was with his heart and soul a Central European. He had a strong bound to this territory spatially and temporally. At first, he was chased as a Jew, later on in the age of 30 he converted into Catholic. During the period of Stalinism, they considered him a second-class citizen, and he was wrongly called the clero-fascists however he was a believing Catholic. He was literally active in the second half of the 1930s, when he published two poetic collections in German. His poems in German were influenced by avant-garde which he became in touch with in Prague – its literary atmosphere defined Pavol Strauss’ literary experiments and further orientation. When speaking of Prague, also think of Franz Kafka, Franz Werfel and, of course, Reiner Maria Rilke. From the literary point of view, Pavol Strauss with his literary essays reached the highest level along with famous authors (R. Musil, K. Kraus, H. Broch). For his 82 years long life, Pavol Strauss cured many patients and left rare books of a unique philosophical dimension.

Infrastructure is generally a set of interconnected structural elements that provide the framework supporting an entire structure. The term has diverse meanings in different fields, but is perhaps most widely understood to refer to roads, airports, and utilities. It involves the following:-Physical structures that form the foundation for development. Infrastructure includes: wastewater and water works, electric power, communications. Basic services necessary for development to take place are for example, roads, and electricity, Sewerage, water, education and health facilities. The public facilities and services needed to support residential development, including highways, bridges, schools and sewer and water systems. Permanent resources serving society’s needs, including roads, sewers, schools, hospitals. Railways, communication networks etc. Lack of infrastructure is the main obstacle for the economic development of the rural area; mass poverty leads to poor health, backwardness, illiteracy, ignorance, and isolation; these social conditions working further as a cycle to encircle the pro poor marginalized people in the strong bound of poverty line.

The impact of KRG (Kurdish Regional Government) of Iraq on the relationships between Turkey and Iraq has been analyzed in this study. This study has examined the political relationship between Turkey, Iraq and KRG and the impact of economic relations on the political relations between Turkey, Iraq and KRG as well. The researcher has implemented the most applicable literature for collecting all the data which are belong to this research. This study used quantitative and qualitative methods in order to gather and examine information. Furthermore, this project has applied Neoliberal theory for analyzing data. A representative from Iraqi Kurdish representative in Erbil has been interviewed by the researcher in order to get benefit from his experience and knowledge concerning Turkish and Iraqi Kurdish relations. After finishing this project and analyzing the existing data with results the investigator determined that there is a strong bound between established literature and results. This study concludes that there is a strong relationship between Turkey and KRG in last decade. In contrast, the relationships of Turkey and Iraq have gotten worse due to KRG and Turkey relations since 2010.  One of the most efficacious factors which influence positively on the relationship between Turkish and KRG are the business interchanging including trade and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

Maintaining local consistencies can improve the efficiencies of the search algorithms solving constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs). Comparing with arc consistency which is the most widely used local consistency, stronger local consistencies can make the search space smaller while they require higher computational cost. In this paper, we make an attempt on the compromise between the pruning ability and the computational cost. A new local consistency called singleton strong bound consistency (SSBC) and its light version, light SSBC, are proposed. The search algorithm maintaining light SSBC can outperform MAC on a considerable number of problems.
