From 1930 to 1991 our country built a well-structured system of agroengineering higher education institutions and faculties of mechanization that, for 90 years, effectively developed and operated solving the problem of training engineering personnel for the evolving mechanized agriculture. The collapse of the USSR caused dramatic changes in the country system of agricultural engineering education. As a result of numerous reorganizations and reforms in the Russian system of higher education, agroengineering universities ceased to exist independently and had to join agricultural universities. The mergers and integration of research institutions and the establishment of large federal research centers on their basis have made it expedient to implement a continuing professional education system (master’s, postgraduate, doctoral studies). The Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM is developing the system of continuing professional education for training modern agricultural engineering personnel in the field of automation, robotization, digital technologies. A current target of the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM is the implementation of Master’s degree programs.

The concepts of "effect", "efficiency" and "effectiveness" were considered. It is noted that efficiency is a broader concept because it does not take into account the achievement of individual results, in contrast to the concept of "effectiveness". The main key groups of indicators that are most often used in assessing the effectiveness of foreign economic activity management are presented. The main problems related to the evaluation of the effectiveness of foreign economic activity management were listed including lack of a clearly structured system of targets; inefficiency of the formed evaluation model procedure; a narrow range of target indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of foreign economic activity that does not allow a multifaceted assessment of the results of its implementation. Such disadvantages in the management system often lead to problems with the definition of priority areas of foreign economic activity, objective assessment of cost, setting relevant goals, etc. Based on the studies of both scientific sources and practitioners, using methods of comparison, generalization, questionnaires, etc., the stages of evaluating the effectiveness of foreign economic activity management are based on targets, which are combined in three blocks: preparatory, technological and analytical. The principles of evaluating the effectiveness of foreign economic activity management were proposed, such as objectivity, systematization, complexity, constructiveness, continuity. A system of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of foreign economic activity management was recommended for import-oriented enterprises. And although the above list is known, but their systematic presentation allowed the management of enterprises to select the most appropriate indicators for them, through which they create quality management and effective management decisions for the development of foreign economic activity.

Introduction. The constant increase in the amount and intensity of traffic requires organization and precise management.Problem Statement. In the present-day conditions, when the number of vessels engaged on internal and external routes has been growing, without the vessel driver/navigator all alone are not physically able to assess the navigation situation and to make the right decision how to operate his vessel. The need to develop and to implement algorithms that help address the issue of navigation safety is an important task, especially when it comes to the management of groups of vessels. The main approaches that allow generalizing the information flows to ensure continuous and safe navigation are the formation of a structured system of processing and evaluation of input factors and related output parameters. This enables controlling the ergatic system of vessel, given a significant number of factors.Purpose. The purpose of this research is to create new approaches to controlling the vessel ergatic system for making an optimal and timely decision.Materials and Methods. Fractal methods for representation of the primary information and applied computer programs of mathematical simulation have been used.Results. The proposed model of information processing as part of the vessel ergatic system is designed to comprehensively ensure the safety of vessels, while providing control and optimization of both operational and organizational parameters and diagnostic functions, with the ability to predict and to prevent failures of the vessel engineering system.Conclusions. The applicability of general algorithms for the processing of information and its structuring according to the degree of impact has been shown. The application of these approaches solves the problem of overloading the navigator with excessive navigational information and reduces decision-making time. The developedalgorithm allows creating an automatic control system for groups of vessels in real conditions of difficult navigation environment.

Abstract Neoglycolipids due to their amphiphilic properties exhibit self-assembly in aqueous phases. In high concentrations the liquid crystalline or gel phases may form. So-called soft-material are a subject of interest of many scientists especially as biosensors and wound healing materials. In this study we examine the structure of a quasicrystalline phase of biot-CMG(2)-DOPE obtained at the concentration of 150 mg/ml (13wt.%) in PBS. The structural data such as interplanar spacing, order parameter and long-range order were obtained by SAXS, while the changes in chemical structure were studied by Raman spectroscopy. It was also in our interest to examine a correlation between the ionic strength and the self-assembly, so we also studied a similar quasicrystalline phase of the same compound but in a buffer containing CaCl2 at the concentration of 4wt.%. According to SAXS data, FSL-biotin construct formed a complex ordered phase consisting of overlapping latices of different kind. The addition of CaCl2 into PBS resulted in obtaining a more structured system demonstrating cubic-like crystal lattice. Change in peak intensities on Raman spectrums of -C-H- and -C-C- bonds vibrations explained the change in phase properties.

Abstract Introduction Inspiration and support are two of the key principles that enthuse junior trainees to pursue a career in surgery. Exposure to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) is minimal at undergraduate level and can present a challenge for those postgraduate individuals who wish to gain more experience before applying to further training. This has prompted the formation of a support programme comprised of two stages: Taste of OMFS and Mentoring and Support Programme (MSP). Method Feedback was captured from OMFS junior trainees and educational supervisors on the existing junior trainee programme. It was concluded that a new programme was required to create a more structured system to help support trainees achieve their goals within OMFS. Taste in OMFS aims to provoke intrigue in the specialty. Individuals who are inspired to experience more can advance on to the MSP which consists of checklists, carefully designed to help the trainee obtain adequate exposure and achieve the recommended requirements for second-degree and specialty training applications. Results The new programme was trialed by existing junior trainee programme members over a six-month period. The results were encouraging with positive feedback on the structure of both sections. This, in combination with ideas generated from a focus group has helped create the final version, now published and accessible on the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons website. Conclusions We hope to raise awareness of this dynamic programme which can be tailored to each individual, in the hope that more junior trainees pursue a career within OMFS.

The effect of the multifunctional supplement Linamix PCX and mineral fillers of microsilica and expanded clay dust on the characteristics of concrete mixtures pumped by concrete pumps is investigated. The evaluation of highly mobile and self-compacting concrete mixtures’ properties was carried out according to pumpability criteria that simulate the elastic-viscous structured system flow. The physical and mechanical characteristics of the hardened concrete were determined using standard and generally accepted methods. The ability of the modified concrete to resist tensile stresses was determined by the crack resistance coefficient. The water-reducing efficiency of the superplasticizer was evaluated by the specific consumption of cement per unit of concrete strength. The performed studies have established that the polyfunctional superplasticizer Linamix PCX is an effective modifier of concrete mixtures, rheologically compatible with cements of various material composition. A significant effect of the fine aggregate grain size composition on the properties of highly mobile concrete mixtures and the formation of the hardened concrete structure has been revealed. Evaluation of the modified concretes’ strength characteristics showed that it is rational to use the mixtures with Linamix superplasticizer PCX and microsilica, providing high strength concrete with a minimum specific consumption of cement for concreting massive monolithic structures in order to slow down heat generation during concrete hardening.
