Today’s ports have become an important node in the global supply chain. It is particularly important to make a scientific assessment of the comprehensive capabilities of the port and to provide a reference for the long-term development of the port. From the perspective of the supply chain, this article first selects the evaluation indicators that affect the port’s capabilities from four aspects of port resource ownership, control management, comprehensive services, and innovation-driven aspect. Secondly, we use the expert scoring method to judge the importance of the evaluation indicators and build a scientific and independent port capacity evaluation system from the perspective of the supply chain. Then, this paper uses the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight coefficients of each evaluation index and uses the gray cluster analysis method of the triangular whitening weight function based on the center point to establish a qualitative and quantitative port capacity evaluation model from the perspective of the supply chain. Finally, we take a port in Northeast Asia as an example to conduct an empirical analysis to verify the feasibility of the port capacity evaluation system and model from the perspective of the supply chain constructed in this paper. The research results of this article can well analyze the port’s resource ownership, control and management capabilities, comprehensive service capabilities, and innovation-driven capabilities and provide a practical and effective theoretical basis for the port’s key development directions.

The decision to adopt a new variety or technology, especially for small-scale farmers, is heavily influenced by resource ownership. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of farmer production asset ownership on farmers’ decisions to use Merah Delima papaya high yielding variety (HYV). The survey was conducted in several papaya production centers (West Sumatra, Riau, East Java, Central Java, and West Java) involving 46 selected respondents consisting of 17 farmers using Merah Delima papaya and 29 farmers growing other papaya cultivars. The determinants of farmer decision were analyzed using the Logit and Tobit regression models. The results show that the availability of production facilities and infrastructure has significant effects on farmers’ decisions to use Merah Delima papaya HYV. The influence of production facilities and infrastructure on the probability of increasing the usage of Merah Delima papaya is more dominant than the influence of other factors. Therefore, it is recommended that further Merah Delima papaya HYV development program needs to be supported by the assistance of providing farmers with machine-powered sprayers or prioritized at locations that have few water/irrigation management problems.</p>

<p>Transnational oil and gas pipelines have a troublesome history of disagreements and disputes that in many cases have led to a cessation of supply. While geopolitics and weak international institutions are often pointed to as explanations, considering pipelines as social as well as material constructs can also shed light on why disputes emerge. This paper will consider the social construction of the Myanmar-China pipelines. In China, the pipelines are seen as the solution to China’s ‘Malacca dilemma’. In Myanmar, the changing political situation has allowed new actors to contest the military junta’s narrative of economic development and the pipelines have become a lightning rod for national conversations about local resource ownership, social and environmental norms and Chinese exploitation of Myanmar’s energy resources.</p>

Landscape, and its relation to place identity, is a powerful tool for visualizing and making legible the effects of environmental change. So often the operations of resource consumption and conservation occur in a way that shapes and changes particular regional landscapes. This is significant in an era where inspiring audiences and policy-makers to respond to unsustainable resource use and environmental change is difficult, but where we are still compelled to care for particular elements of place as they relate to identity. In this article we examine how resource use and landscape change are communicated through Irish films, where the interactions of place identity and landscape are central. A key through line argument is how landscape is an important vehicle for expressing anxieties and contexts for resource interdependency; another is how elements of local and regional identity compete and interact with global concerns, such as climate change or globalization, in complex ways. We analyse these interactions to demonstrate how energy resource use and environmental change are linked, highlighting ‘small nation’ tensions concerning geographic identity and resource ownership that are relevant to real-world energy transitions and apply much more broadly.

The success of many organizations depends on the level of resource ownership, the real value of the expertise, the research and development activities, the interaction with the environment and society where they operate ... Thus, the description of resources according to the traditional expression of financial statements (FS) of Vietnamese enterprises has not met the demand of using information of stakeholders in the integration trend. Therefore, the paper is designed to analyze the factors affecting environmental information disclosure and propose solutions to enhance the responsibility for environmental performance, to meet the compliance with international practices and increasing the transparency of the stock market in Vietnam in the spirit of Circular 155/2015 / TT-BTC of listed enterprises.

This article evaluates the impact of natural resource conflicts on Africa’s security. This study is qualitative and based on secondary data that were analysed textually. Hinged on the greed and grievance theory, the study argues that the mismanagement of resources, greed and grievance have had immeasurable negative implications on national security, national growth and development. The issues that have come to the fore in resource management in some selected African countries include rancorous intergroup relations, militancy, the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, leadership ineptitude, corruption, warlordism and money laundering. The article recommends that effective resource management strategies in Africa are key in curbing the plaguing security challenges and conflicts ensuing from resource ownership in the continent.

Agriculture market offering with liberal global market as a consequence of the opening for the economy in Indonesia. Liberalization is due to unilateral policies and international trade agreements including both tariffs and non-tariffs. The purpose of this study is to determine Trade Perspective And Agriculture Policy Perspective In Indonesia . The methode that was used in the research is library research approach, this study means the whole activity of collecting some library data, reading making a note and analyzing of the research. The results of the study explain that agricultural producing countries as developing countries are at a disadvantage or receive very little profit from international trade. Liberalization can have detrimental effects that can threaten the domestic market and the interests of other staff concerned about the welfare of producer farmers and food security. This can occur due to production errors of resource ownership, mastery of technology, economic development and the government's commitment to the focus of the agricultural sector.
