AbstractNon-epistemic values play important roles in classificatory practice, such that philosophical accounts of kinds and classification should be able to accommodate them. Available accounts fail to do so, however. Our aim is to fill this lacuna by showing how non-epistemic values feature in scientific classification, and how they can be incorporated into a philosophical theory of classification and kinds. To achieve this, we present a novel account of kinds and classification (the Grounded Functionality Account), discuss examples from biological classification where non-epistemic values play decisive roles, and show how this account accommodates the role of non-epistemic values.

Chrysoprase is a popular gemstone with consumers because of its charming apple green colour but a scientific classification of its colour has not yet been achieved. In this research, we determined the most effective background of the Munsell Chart for chrysoprase colour grading under a 6504 K fluorescent lamp and applied an affinity propagation (AP) clustering algorithm to the colour grading of coloured gems for the first time. Forty gem-quality chrysoprase samples from Australia were studied using a UV-VIS spectrophotometer and Munsell neutral grey backgrounds. The results determined the effects of a Munsell neutral grey background on the observed colour. It was found that the Munsell N9.5 background was the most effective for colour grading in this case. The observed chrysoprase colours were classified into five groups: Fancy Light, Fancy, Fancy Intense, Fancy Deep and Fancy Dark. The feasibility of the colour grading scheme was verified using the colour difference formula DE2000.

The article examines the scientific and poetic creativity of the outstanding Russian philologist Mikhail Viktorovich Panov. The author analyses Panov’s ideas formulated in the course of lectures on the language of Russian poetry, emphasizing that, for Panov, the development of the Russian poetic language relies on the movement of poetic forms embodied at the level of phonetics, verbal and figurative series of literary works. The dynamics of poetic form is determined by poets’ desire to search for new and unexpected forms of poetic language; however, this search frequently follows the path of repeating familiar poetic formulas or their conscious displacement (shift). Panov-the researcher finds a scheme or matrix for describing a wide variety of poetic trends and styles, offering a scientific classification of poetic techniques. However, having a poetic talent, Panov was able to discover poetry in science, which he adored. The author of the article analyses several of Panov’s poems about life and war (of which he was a participant), about science and scientists. Linguistics and scientific ideas formulated by linguists became heroes of Panov’s poetry. Therefore, Panov’s work intertwined the approach of both a scientist and a poet: he finds science in poetry and poetry in science.

From the above it can be concluded that the influence of regional dialects in one area is an important factor in the development of the lexicon of Uzbek dialects. Such influence and lexical nourishment may be somewhat more intense in Uzbek dialects that are far from the literary center and surrounded by or familiar with other languages. It goes without saying that such connections cannot be made directly between different dialect regions that are far apart in terms of area. Because each or each group of Uzbek dialects has its own unique and appropriate distribution areas for a long time. Part of the peculiarities of the Dialect trail is related to this boundary, their distribution, location - area, which appeared and developed only in this area. In addition, as a result of observing the dialects of the area, a dialect area may not always be a constant latitude, but may cover a dialect, a village or several villages in the area. So, we have seen that the Uzbeks living in Karakalpakstan use words and phrases typical of the Kipchak and Yuguz dialects. Dialectal area covers very large areas. In general, it shows that the Turkic peoples are blood relatives and brothers. Key words: literary language, dialect, area, local language, comparative historical foundations, grammatical form, scientific classification

In May 2019, the premiere of the film “Beanpole” by Russian director Kantemir Balagov, took place at the Cannes Film Festival and it became a notable event both on the French Riviera and in Russia. The drama tells the story of two young female front-line soldiers who defend their right to a decent peaceful life in post-blockade Leningrad. This movie also reveals the fate of the women in the rear who found themselves in a conflict with the returning female front-line soldiers. With the use of the descriptive-functional and comparative research methods, the authors of the article make the first attempt of scientific classification of the “women in the rear” images in “Beanpole” film from anthropological and psychological perspectives – a peasant woman Tatyana Belova and a highly-placed party worker Lyubov Petrovna. An analysis of secondary characters images helps to determine the severity of the consequences of the war, the parallel with the main heroines and adoption of the “military rules” in the post-war months, according to which, Soviet women were in the fiercest competition for men and family happiness.

This paper deals with kinematic pairs in the most general sense, and, in particular, with those used in gear design. The paper begins with a brief overview of the earlier performed research in the field. Different kinds of kinematic pairs are distinguished, namely, point-contact kinematic pairs, line-contact kinematic pairs, and surface-to-surface-contact kinematic pairs. Contact geometry of functional surfaces in kinematic pairs is involved into the analysis aiming more in detail analysis of design, and the development of a scientific classification of kinematic pairs. A scientific classification of all possible kinds of kinematic pairs is developed. All known designs of kinematic pairs are covered by the classification. Moreover, kinematic pairs of all notknown yet designs are also covered by the classification. This means that the proposed classification of kinematic pairs possesses predictive properties.

The quality and content of information in the article media text is based on scientific classification of linguistic features. The study of functional styles of speech, the identification of their linguistic signs, the discovery of the functional properties of linguistic units and their separation on the basis of linguistic facts is one of thetasks that modern linguistics is waiting for a solution. Text Linguistics, which deals with the creation, modeling of its structure and the study of the process of such activity, is of interest to journalists today as a science.

In the Digital time, Twitter has developed to turn into a significant web based life to get to quick data about unique themes that are slanting in the public eye. In later, identification of topical substance utilizing classifiers on Twitter can sum up well past the enormous volume of prepared information. Since access to Twitter information is holed up behind a restricted pursuit API, normal clients can't have any significant bearing these classifiers legitimately to the Twitter unfiltered information streams. Or maybe, applications must pick what substance to recuperate through the pursuit API before sifting that content with topical classifiers. In this manner, other than these lines, it is basic to scrutinize the Twitter API near with the proposed topical classifier in a manner that limits the measure of adversely arranged information recovered. In this paper, we propose a succession of inquiry enhancement strategies utilizing Machine learning with the assistance of CNN that sum up thoughts of the most extreme inclusion issue to discover the subclass of question articulations inside as far as possible. It is utilized to cover most of the topically pertinent tweets without relinquishing accuracy. Among numerous bits of knowledge, proposed techniques fundamentally outflank the scientific classification dependent on the tweets and arrange the best of the tweets and pessimistic tweets in Twitter.
