The value and importance of the integrative bilingual teaching/learning foreign language and engineering is building bridges between cognition and communication, finding ways for establishing a dynamic balance between them in the mind of an engineering student. This explains the choice of study exercises and activities, related to mental operations and psychological patterns. The chapter discusses the peculiarities of solving problems, other active exercises, and gives some practical recommendations. Here also is the eternal problem of CLIL-like integrative education: How much language? How much content? Concerning language material, it is determined by some basic volume, demand driven by professional duties and interests. All the suggested ideas were tested at a Russian technical university for years. The difficulties, findings, and results of the pilot projects for bachelors and masters are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to explore and describe the vision of education according to the Al-Qur’an and then found its relevance to modern character education theory. This study used qualitative design by using library research and specifically used in the mawdhu'i interpretation approach. The study results have shown that the integration of educational goals was seen in the use of several terms in the Al-Qur’an related to education. Dhikr was integrated with thinking, integration of understanding (cognitive) by acting what is understood (affective and psychomotor), applying syar'i law was integrated with the purpose of its application, and integration of thinking about nature by acknowledging the power of Allah. The verse signs that indicate integration in educational goals indicate that the domains of educational goals could not be separated but as a whole. The implication in the formulation of goals should not separate the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Thoughts, exercise, and sports might be integrated and synergized.

Establishment of human intellect and expertise necessitates wide scope of knowledge and understanding. Post qualification, many practical jobs wherein the required expertise includes social understanding and abilities which are not included in STEM subjects. Organization needs civic sense, team work, understanding, compassion and good communication. In reality, the market needs that the product of higher education being employed has these abilities so as to be able to get well within the organizational work forces. A well-developed human package is hardly complete without appropriate knowledge and insight of, for example, philosophy, anthropology, economics, law, psychology, belief system/religions, geography , history and politics, amongst others. Without these, the very purpose of one's role within an organization, and the society at large, remains very incomplete. Obtaining passing marks in merely a few science specific subjects as usually defined in narrowly defined curricular stop way short of meeting the market demands. Inclusion of some knowledge of social sciences, humanities and arts would help create higher educated people with better understanding of the human condition and the society. Better understanding is the essential prerequisite for being comfortable with oneself and one's society.   On the same account, integrative education and research needs to be put in place to bridge knowledge, modes of inquiring and pedagogies from multiple disciplines, within every higher education program.
