ABSTRACT: BRAINSTORMING EDUCATION AND BUZZ GROUP EDUCATION METHODS TO IMPROVING SELF CARE IN CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE CLIENTS Introduction: Congestive heart failure is a serious disease, with the incidence and number of patients undergoing rehospitalization that continues to increase. This condition is caused by the lack of knowledge of clients and families about congestive heart failure and self care at home. Brainstorming education and Buzz group education can increase clients' understanding of Self Care. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Brainstorming educational method and the Buzz Group educational method on Self Care in patients with Congestive Heart Failure at Harapan Bunda Hospital in 2020.Methods: This research is a Quasi Experiment research using a pretest and posttest design. The study population was clients who were treated at Harapan Bunda Hospital in 2020. The sample was taken using purposive sampling consisting of two groups, namely the brainstorming group of 15 respondents and the buzz group of 15 respondents. Results: The results showed that there was a difference in the average value of increasing self-care before and after giving education using the brainstorming method with a difference in the mean value of 6.20 and the difference in increasing self-care before and after giving education using the buzz group method, which was 21.8. While the results of the analysis of differences in self care using the brainstorming and buzz group education methods with an average self-care value of 49.40 and 67.47, respectively, which means that the buzz group has a higher average value than the brainstorming group. The results of the independent t-test obtained a p-value of 0.000.Conclusion: The buzz group method is more effective in improving self-care in patients with Congestive Heart Failure compared to the brainstorming educational method. It is recommended that Harapan Bunda Hospital can use varied methods such as buzz groups in providing self-care education to Congestive Heart Failure patients. Keywords     : Brainstorming, Buzz Group, Self Care, Congestive Heart Failure    INTISARI: METODE EDUKASI BRAINSTORMING DAN EDUKASI BUZZ GROUP TERHADAP PENINGKATAN SELF CARE PADA KLIEN CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE  Pendahuluan: Congestive heart failure merupakan penyakit yang cukup serius, dengan angka kejadian dan jumlah pasien untuk mengalami rehospitalisasi yang terus meningkat.Kondisi ini dikarenkan minimnya pengetahuan klien dan keluarga tentang penyakit congestive heart failure dan self care di rumah. We look at group work from a self-determination theory perspective and argue that internalized motivation is the best condition for productive collaboration. A perceived sense of autonomy plays an important role herein. This autonomy is determined by the characteristics of the task and the openness and acceptance of the group. Group dysfunction, or the fear of it, impedes autonomy, even if the task context is fully autonomy supportive. Means of uncovering the functioning of group members could reduce dysfunction or lower the fear of it. Using a full scale intrinsic motivation inventory, we measured the impact of group self-evaluation on the quality of motivation over a 4-year period with a total of 355 participants in a collaborative learning project in high schools (K11). We show that, compared to the control population, students exhibit a much more internalized motivation profile, with effect sizes in the range of medium to large for the different parameters. We conclude that group self-evaluation primes students for autonomous motivation. We suggest that the procedure should be applied systematically in substantial collaborative projects. <br>

Abstract The article examines the ideas and arrangements referred to as nonterritorial autonomy (NTA) in the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, and the post-Soviet states. Many scholars regard NTA as a theoretical breakthrough and as a way to drastically rearrange diversity policies. The author seeks to clarify whether NTA had been a groundbreaking innovation and an area of political contestations. Two short periods of NTA-related initiatives after 1917 and in the late 1980s–1990s may look like attempts (albeit ineffective) to replace the earlier forms of diversity governance. The author shows that the ideas of group societal separateness, differential treatment of individuals, group agency, and cohesiveness, as well as a group’s running of its internal affairs, were present in varying degrees in imperial, Soviet, and post-Soviet governments’ thoughts and practices. Academia and civil society were also appropriating and developing these views, and group self-rule on a nonterritorial basis was their logical extension. However, the practical implementation was, in most cases, on a top-down basis, and group agency and self-rule were affirmed mostly rhetorically. The continuity of discourses and practices demonstrates that NTA was an integral part of “normal” and broad ethnopolitical developments across the major historic divides in Northern Eurasia.

Currently, the development of collective joint activity as a factor of group effectiveness is relevant. Preschool age is characterized by intensive personal development, which, according to many researchers, fully occurs only in a team. Adequate organization of joint activities in preschool age encourages the child to rapid socialization and develops group self-efficacy. It is important that children have an idea of their group as a whole. This subjective factor of activity effectiveness is formed in the experience of successful implementation of joint activities, in the favorable psychological climate of the children's collective. The article presents a model of a formative experiment aimed at creating conditions for the formation of self-efficacy of a group at preschool age. The author presents in detail the methodological block within the framework of the ascertaining and forming part of the dissertation research aimed at identifying objective and subjective factors affecting the effectiveness of joint activities. The article also presents the results of the formative experiment of the included observation of the joint activities of children. The author describes in detail the content of formative classes aimed at developing group self-efficacy in a children's team. The results of observation of changes in the joint activity of preschoolers before and after the formative experiment are a statement of the fact of the relationship between group self-efficacy and its effectiveness. A comparative analysis of the formative experiment showed that children from the experimental group became more active in joint activities. More than 50% of the children of the control group remained indifferent to group activities. The author reveals the relationship between the formed idea of the group as a whole and the effectiveness of joint activities among preschoolers. In conclusion, the author points out that the insufficient development of the study leaves a prospect for further study of the process of forming preschool children's ideas about the positive result of joint activity, as the main indicator of the self-effectiveness of a group of preschoolers.

To assess and compare the knowledge about adult basic resuscitation amongst interns completing their internship and 1 year MBBS students who underwent three day hands on training in BLS during their foundation course. It’s a cross-sectional observational study using a questionnaire comprising of 19 questions to assess the knowledge of BLS among interns completing their internship and 1 year MBBS students who underwent BLS training during their foundation course. Majority of the medical students knew that BLS can be performed both outside and inside the hospital settings. (96.1% vs 77%, P =0.001) Knowledge about BLS was poor amongst both the groups. 40 interns (55.4%) had scored ≥ 60% whereas 65 medical students (63.5%) had scored ≥60%. (P value 0.21) indicating comparable knowledge about BLS amongst both the group. Self-grading of knowledge about BLS was better amongst medical students (P=0.001). 37. 8% of interns and 21.6% of medical students had expanded the terminology AED correctly indicating poor knowledge about defibrillation and defibrillator amongst both the group. Difference was not significant (p = 0.220) Also medical students knowledge about Heimlich maneuver was poor (52% compared to 70.3% amongst interns) indicating the poor retention of knowledge amongst medical students. Knowledge about BLS among medical students who underwent training during foundation course was same like that of interns who studied the earlier curriculum and was poor, hence needs inclusion of periodic revision of the knowledge about BLS in the curriculum.

The Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology (HiTOP) uses factor analysis to group self-reported symptoms of mental illness (i.e., like goes with like). It is hailed as a significant improvement over other diagnostic taxonomies. However, the purported advantages and fundamental assumptions of HiTOP have received little, if any, scientific scrutiny. We critically evaluated five fundamental claims about HiTOP. We conclude that HiTOP does not demonstrate a high degree of verisimilitude and has the potential to hinder progress on understanding the etiology of psychopathology. It does not lend itself to theory building or taxonomic evolution, and it cannot account for multifinality, equifinality, or developmental and etiological processes. In its current form, HiTOP is not ready to use in clinical settings and may result in algorithmic bias against underrepresented groups. We recommend a bifurcation strategy moving forward in which the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is used in clinical settings while researchers focus on developing a falsifiable theory-based classification system.
