Job satisfaction or employee satisfaction is a measure of the level of satisfaction of workers with their type of work which is related to the nature of their job duties, the results of the work achieved, the form of supervision obtained and the feeling of relief and liking for the work they are engaged in. Job satisfaction is an individual thing because each individual will have different levels of satisfaction according to the values that apply in each individual. This study is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by means of semi structured interviews to 10 staff working in private universities in Jakarta. Interview was also conducted with 2 HRD directors to dig deeper the efforts to provide job satisfaction which can improve employee performance. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction has a big role in improving the quality of employee performance.

This research was conducted to determine the effect of leadership and motivation of public service for job satisfaction ASN Bantaeng district. Basically, job satisfaction is an individual thing and depends on one's perception of what he feels about work. Further explained that the job satisfaction theory tries to reveal what makes some people more satisfied with their work than some others. If employees have high job satisfaction, employees will try to show the best service quality. Job satisfaction in this study as a central point that can not only affect the quality of public services directly, but can be a factor that mediates indirect effects of several factors that affect the quality of public services, including leadership factors and motivation for public services. Leadership has a positive direct effect, although not significantly on ASN job satisfaction, while the activation of public services has a significant positive direct effect on ASN job satisfaction in Bantaeng District.

Religion is a phenomenon associated with many dimensions, including the social dimension. Social thinkers such as Durkheim, Marx, and Weber also imply that religion is essentially more of a social aspect than a purely individual thing. Hence it can be said that there is an inevitable connection between religion as one of the social phenomena with many aspects of community life. Religion can also be said to be inseparable from the influence of the context of the society in which the religion develops. These influences can then be carried away in tradition and it is not uncommon to find that the content of religious interpretation has already contained a tendency of certain political interests.

Basically, job satisfaction is an individual thing. Each individual member of the Indonesian National Army - Navy will have a level of satisfaction varies according to the value system that applies to him. This study aimed to analyze how the mutual relationship between risk taking, compete aggressively pursue achievement, and a proactive attitude and how they affect entrepreneurial intelligence and job satisfaction of the middle-Navy officer (rank of Major and Lieutenant-Colonel) in the environment MABESAL Cilangkap - Jakarta.Sampling was addressed to 150 people Major and Lieutenant-Colonel of 100 people (men) from the existing amount. Of the 5 main variables of the study (risk taking, compete aggressively pursue achievement, proactive, entrepreneurial intelligence, and job satisfaction) raised 50 manifest variables or observations. The number of valid questionnaires were further processed as many as 250 copies. The data were processed with descriptive analysis, cross tabulation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, analysis of the structural model , are summarized end with the test of the hypothesis.The results that test the 7th hypothesis proved significantly. Factors of risk taking, compete aggressively pursue achievement, and proactive significantly influence entrepreneureurial intelligence. Factors of risk taking, compete aggressively pursue achievement, and proactive also significantly influence job satisfaction. Entrepreneurial intelligence factors significantly influence job satisfaction. Further discussion of the recommendations for improvement and development potential risk taking, compete aggressively pursue achievement, proactive, entrepreneurial intelligence, and job satisfaction in MABESAL environment. Keywords: Risk Taking, Compete Aggressively Pursue Achievement, Proactive, Entrepreneurial Intelligence, Job Satisfaction, MABESAL.

Olahraga sangat erat kaitannya dengan aspek psikologi. Hal ini berdasarkan pemikiran bahwa kegiatan berolahraga merupakan suatu tingkah laku yang khas dan bertujuan. Olahraga dapat bertujuan untuk mencapai suatu prestasi karena sifatnya yang kompetitif, dapat juga bertujuan untuk menjaga kesehatan, kebugaran, dan stamina tubuh. Peran motivasi berpartisipasi sangatlah penting untuk mengetahui sampai dimana seseorang terlibat dalam rutinitas kegiatan olahraga. Seorang atlet adalah individu yang memiliki keunikan tersendiri, apalagi dalam sebuah suku yang berbeda. Ia memiliki bakat tersendiri, kebiasaan tersendiri dan budaya tersendiri serta latar belakang yang mempengaruhi secara spesifik pada dirinya. Beragam perbedaan itulah yang menyebabkan motivasi berpartisipasi dalam olahraga juga tidak akan sama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif non-eksperimen (ex post facto) dengan pendekatan survei. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah suku. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa suku Osing dan suku Jawa dengan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling yang berjumlah 30 orang. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suku osing lebih dominan pada faktor skill development, status, energy release, team atmosphere, dan affiliation dibandingkan dengan suku jawa. Sedangkan pada faktor fitness suku jawa lebih dominan daripada suku osing. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan suku dapat mempengaruhi motivasi berpartisipasi dalam olahraga dan Suku Osing lebih progressive dalam peningkatan prestasi.ABSTRACTSports aspect is so closely associated with psychology. It thought by sports activities is specialy the goal. Sports can be a target at achieving review of its achievements as competitive, also keep a target to review the healthty, fitness and stamina Body. The role of motivation to participate that so important to review knowing up where is somebody engaged hearts routine sport activities. An athlete is individual thing has uniqueness, above all different etnic group. An athlete has a talent, has a habits and has a culture and different background that influence affects on himself. Various differences that sport participant motivation not would be the same. This operates is quantitative research is non-experimental (ex post facto) with collection approach.Independent research is etnic group. The research of the samples is a student of osing and Javanese etnic group using cluster sampling amounted to 30 peoples. Based from studies showing the dominant etnic group of osing  have a more skill factor development, status, energy release, a team atmosphere, and affiliates be comperated then java etnic group. Can be conclouded if different racist make influance can be affecting of motivation to participate in sport and progressive achievement improvement etnic group of osing.

‘Living, loving, dying’ asks what is life? It considers the origins of life, self-assembly, or epigenesis of complex organisms, generation, and renewal. According to Epicureanism, living things are composed of the same material particles that compose all substances and objects. All such entities come into existence gradually as their parts are built up, and all are dissolved in time into their constituent particles in the cosmic flux, where they become material for the generation of new living and non-living entities. Lucretius described a ‘fixed limit’ to the duration and powers of every individual thing except the atom. For the Epicurean philosopher, generation and dying are symmetrical processes.

This investigation sets for itself the task of a critical reconsideration of the concept of intentionality in the descriptive psychology of Brentano and in the phenomenology of Husserl. The author focuses his attention on two problems: that of the ontological basis under an idea of “intentionale Inexistenz” of Brentano and that of the constitution of an individual thing in phenomenology of Husserl. The analysis discloses methodical and metaphysical assumptions of intentional analyses of Brentano (related to ontology of Aristotle and positivism) and of Husserl (related to the doctrine of Kant about “secretly functioning reason”).

According to Thomas Reid, every act of mind is accompanied by a conception of its object. For instance, he holds that the thing one conceives in an act of perception is always an individual thing that exists, and that the thing one conceives in an act of judgment is the thing expressed by the proposition judged. However, Reid never is clear about what kind of thing is expressed by a proposition; neither is it clear from the existing literature on Reid. What he says about judgments, propositions, and general conceptions together suggests four distinct candidates. But I will argue that each of these candidates either fails to have sufficient textual support, or leads to absurd conclusions (such as that we conceive semi-existent things). In conclusion, I argue that while Reid does not offer an account of the kind of conception accompanying judgments, his writings leave the matter open.

The vinculum is essential, determinant for the compound, but not for the simple thing. The connective thing turns definitive in the compound thing, so that the ontology of Leibniz bets strongly for the simple thing, for the individual thing, as update of the infinitesimal thing.

Abstract Philosophical speech is required to reach the core of the things themselves, often at the risk of subsuming the individual thing under the law of a general concept and ruining its singularity. Is another approach available to philosophy at all ? The question of the violence of the discourse has been raised by many thinkers in the 20th century. Just as Wittgenstein, Husserl demanded for a replacement of deduction by description which would let the things appear in their own light. Merleau-Ponty has rephrased the task of a maieutic phenomenology in terms of”letting see through words” (faire voir par les mots), whereas the direct, exhaustive thematization is given up for an indirect speech, letting the world speak in its own “prose”. While the “indirect ontology” in Merleau-Ponty’s last works has received wide attention these last years, little case has been made of the linguistic implications of the figure of its philosophical operator, the “indirect speech”. What is the status of the “ logos” in Merleau-Ponty’s phenomeno-”logy”? By relating Merleau-Ponty’s reflections on the language of philosophy (rather than on philosophy of language) to the linguistic discussion on free indirect speech (Tobler, Kalepky, Bakhtin) as well as to its use in literature, from Dostoyevsky to Claude Simon, a new perspective opens up of an “indirect ethics”, which implies that whoever speaks in the name of the Other is already spoken by him or by her.
