Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam model Discovery Learning dipadu dengan Numberd Heads Together (DLNHT). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental (Quasy Experiment). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun pelajaran 2018 - 2019 di SMA Negeri 5 di Kota Ternate. Teknik analisa menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial dengan membandingkan nilai pre dan post test. Soal pre test berjumlah 15 nomor dan soal uraian berjumlah 5 nomor. Teknik analisis deskriptif hasil belajar meliputi presentase hasil belajar,ketuntasan dan presentase predikat sangat baik (A),baik(B),Cukup(C) dan kurang (D) serta uji N-gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dari pre test ke post test. Teknik analisis statistik inferensial digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian melalui sistem (SPSS) versi 25.0. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh model pembelajaran Discovery dikombinasikan dengan Numberd Heads Together adalah 83. Prosentase ketuntasan hasil belajar 100%,perolehan kategori sangat baik (20,8%), kategori baik (75%), kurang (4,2%) dan kurang (0%). Hasil analisis statistik inferensial uji N-gain adalah 3,8  > 0,7 pada sampel menunjukan ada peningkatan kategori tinggi terhadap hasil pre dan post test. Hasil uji homogenitas adalah 0,00 > 0,05 menunjukan sampel berada dalam homogenitas, uji normalitas adalah 0,77  > 0,05  menunjukan sampel berada dalam keadaan homogen dan uji anacova adalah 0,01 <  0,05. Hasil Uji anacova membuktikan hipotesa ada peningkatan  hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model  Discovery Learning dipadu dengan Numberd Heads Together (DLNHT). Kata kunci : Model Discovery Learning, Numberd Heads Together (DLNHT), Hasil                             Belajar Siswa , Subtansi  Genetik

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa antara model discovery learning dan jigsaw. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu. Tempat penelitian diaksanakan di SMP Negeri 18 Kota Bengkulu. Populasi pada penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VII. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak sederhana yaitu kelas VII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model discovery learning, kelas VII.5 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw, dan kelas VII.3 sebagai kelas kontrol, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kelas eksperimen 1 memperoleh nilai rata-rata tes akhir (post-test) kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yaitu 12,13, nilai rata-rata eksperimen 2 yaitu 11,45, dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 9,26. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji anava satu jalur, dengan signifikan 0,05 diperoleh 𝐹ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑔 = 𝐹𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙 = 0,34, maka H0 ditolak. Artinya ada perbedaan signifikan rata-rata kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa pada kelas eksperimen 1, kelas eksperimen 2, dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan uji beda nyata (BNT) menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran yang memberikan hasil penalaran matematis yang berbeda adalah model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan konvensional, dan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dengan konvensional. Sedangkan pembelajaran dengan model discovery learning dan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw tidak memberikan hasil kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang berbeda. Model discovery learning dan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw memberikan hasil lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan model konvensional.Kata kunci: kemampuan penalaran matematis, model discovery learning, model Jigsaw AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine students' mathematical reasoning abilities with discovery learning models and jigsaw type cooperative learning models. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 18 Bengkulu City in the   academic year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was selected by simple random sampling, namely class VII.1 as experimental class 1 using the discovery learning models, class VII.5 as experimental class 2 using the jigsaw type cooperative learning models, and class VII.3 as control class using conventional learning models. Data were collected by means of tests of students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Based on the results of the one-way ANOVA test, there are significant differences in students' mathematical reasoning abilities in the experimental class 1, experiment class 2 and the control class. The results          of the real difference test (BNT) show that learning that gives different results is the discovery learning models with conventional learning models, and the jigsaw type cooperative learning model with conventional learning models. Meanwhile, learning with discovery learning models and jigsaw type cooperative learning models does not give different results for students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Discovery learning models and jigsaw type cooperative learning models give better results when compared to conventional learning.Keywords: mathematical   reasoning   ability,   discovery   learning   model,   Jigsaw   model

This study aimed to analyze students' conceptual understanding by using a multi-representation assisted discovery learning model in measurement. This research was conducted in Public High School 1 Kendari. This research is a quasi-experimental study using a one-group pre-post test design. The research method consisted of a conceptual comprehension test using a caliper and a screw micrometer in an essay in the form of a multi-representational test on long measurements. The analysis showed an increase in conceptual understanding between the pre-test and post-test with an average pre-test score of 16.24 (SD = 14) and a post-test of 61.4 (SD = 21). These results indicate an increase in students' understanding of concepts after learning with an average N-gain increase of 0.5 (SD = 0.2) in the medium category. It also obtained the most significant increase in students' understanding of the indicators mentioned parts caliper and micrometer with an N-gain average of 0.6 in the medium category.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of students' writing skills by using Discovery learning and the Snowball Throwing method. this study uses Quasi-Experimental by comparing two different variables with the stages of giving pre-test, treatment, and post-test and looking for the difference in value using the Gain Test. This research was conducted in class XI of SMK 4 Padalarang LPPM with a sample population of 60 students namely 30 students of class XI RPL 1 as control class and 30 students with discovery learning method and RPL 2 class as Experimental class with Snowball Throwing approach. From the results of this study conclusions are obtained  1). The ability to write students using the Snowball method is effective and better than using discovery learning. 2). There is a change in the value of writing narrative texts of students using the snowball method rather than discovery learning.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SD. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental-semu (Quasi Experimental Design) dengan Pre-test Post-test Non-equivalent Control Group Design dan menggunakan teknik  pengambilan sampel purpose sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data Uji-t. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD dengan menggunakan model discovery learning.

The purpose of the research for to know the difference mathematical generalization ability of student are taught by use guided discovery learning and expository. The research was held at SMPN 21 Bekasi in second semester academic year 2016-2017. The sample  is class VII.2 and VII.5 (76 students). This research used quasi-experimental with statistic group comparison or post-test-only with nonequivalent groups design. Instrument be used is an essay test to measure mathematical reflective thinking ability. Before tested instrument analyzed by correlation product moment to test the validity, reliability by formula alpha cronbach and an index of the lurch. The data is analyzed firstly be done test regulation is test normality with Lilliefors and also test homogeneity by using Fisher. The result of normality test of class experiment and control can be conclude that both of the sample are from normal distribution. While the result of homogeneity test can be conclude the population of both have a homogeneity variance. The result of research were obtained t result is 5,29 with significance α is 0,05. The result of research showed a difference mathematical generalization ability of student through guided discovery learning and expository.

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada masalah yang ditemukan ketika peneliti mengadakan observasi di SMP Negeri 3 Tondano dimana kemampuan peserta didik mengerjakan soal-soal matematika berkategori HOTS masih kurang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan peserta didik mengerjakan soal-soal matematika berkategori HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental, dengan desain penelitian The Nonequivalent Post-test Only Control Group Design. Sampel diambil dari 2 kelas yang normal dan homogen yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah berturut-turut 26 dan 26 siswa. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t dan memperlihatkan bahwa nilai  = 7.180  >  =1.684 dengan taraf nyata α = 0.05 ini berarti tolak  dan terima . Sehingga, penggunaan model Discovery Learning  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengerjakan soal-soal matematika berkategori HOTS.

This research entitled “Discovery Learning strategy on Grade Eleven Students’ Reading Comprehension in Report text at SMA Negeri 6 Karawang” principally aims to investigate whether or not DL strategy significantly affects on Students’Reading Comprehension. Research method used in this research was quasi experimental, quantitative and the design was randomized post-test only control group design.To collect data the writer used instruments in the form of objective, multiple choice 30 question items for sample class out of 60 questions items that have been tried out in IPS class on grade eleven at SMA Negeri 6 Karawang. The scores obtained from the try-out class were used to analyze the validity, reliability, discrimination power and difficulty index of each question items in the instruments. The sample of this research was grade eleven students in IPS class consisting of 60 students. The students is divided into two classes, 30 students in experimental class thought using DLstrategy and 30 in control class thought without DL strategy that are taken from the population using cluster random technique.The analysis using SPSS-based One Way Anova Formula produced significance (Sig.) value of 0.002, since the significance value was smaller than (<) Alpha 0.05, H0 is rejected and HAis accepted. It means that DL Strategy has significant effect on students’ reading comprehension.

<p>The research was aimed to ascertain the influence of application augmented reality media based discovery learning toward learning achievement. The research was quasi experimental research, using post-test only with non-equivalent groups. The population was all students of XI IPA MAN 2 Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015, which is divided into 3 classes. The sampling technique used in the research was a cluster sampling. Sample was used class XI IPA 2 consist of 22 siswa for control class with image media with konvensional learning ang class XI IPA 1 consist of 22 siswa for experiment class with augmented reality media based discovery learning. The data were collected using tests and non-tests techniques. Tests techniques using tests method multiple choice and short essay to measure learning achievement in knowled domain, while non-test techniques observation method using observation sheet to measure learning achievement in skills domain and attitude domain. The hypothesis was analyzed with t-test and mann-whitney test using SPPS version 16. The result showed learning achievement knowledge domain (Sig. 0,000 &lt; 0,05), skills domain (Sig. 0,003 &lt; 0,05), and attitude domain (Sig. 0,008 &lt; 0,05). Based on the result to indicate signification of learning achievement &lt; 0,05 so there were difference effects of application augmented reality media based discovery learning with konvensional learning toward learning achievement. </p><p>Keywords: augmented reality media, discovery learning, learning achievement.</p>

The average students' chemical learning outcomes are still low, the low learning outcome is influenced by several factors, including students still consider that chemistry as one of the scary, difficult to understand and less interesting lessons. Therefore, the research wants to vary the learning process in the classroom by applying the learning model of Discovery Learning with Group Investigation model. This research was aimed to find out the students’ achievement differences of chemical subject by using Discovery learning and  Group Investigation model. The research is quasi experimental research. The population of this research were class X MIPA in SMAN 9 Bengkulu City, and the sample were X MIPA 2 and MIPA 3. This research using two experimental classes, that is class X MIPA 2 applying Group Investigation model and X MIPA 3 applying Discovery Learning model. Analysis of the data used is mean values, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. Post-test mean values for first experiment class is 78,12, but for second experiment class is 81,3. To determine whether the differences of student’s learning outcomes between both of experiment classes or not, we use t-test by using the differences between student’s pretest and posttest values, tcount > ttable (2,17 > 1,67). The result of this research showed that Ha accepted, in other words is a significant differences in learning outcomes of student’s applying Discovery Learning and Group Investigation model.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning dan number head together terhadap aktivitas, motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design). Adapun desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIPA Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 di SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda yang berjumlah 286 siswa, dengan sampel yang terdiri dari 3 kelas yakni X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 (dengan model discovery learning DL), kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 (dengan model number head together NHT) dan kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas control (dengan model konvensional). Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, angket dan soal pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran DL terhadap Aktivitas Belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Samarinda. Pengaruh Model DL bersifat positif terhadap tingginya aktivitas belajar siswa. (2) Ada pengaruh model Pembelajaran NHT terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Samarinda. Model NHT berpengaruh positif terhadap aktivtas belajar siswa. (3) Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran DL terhadap Motivasi Belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Samarinda. Pengaruh Model DL bersifat positif terhadap tingginya motivasi belajar siswa. (4) Ada pengaruh model Pembelajaran NHT terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Samarinda. Model NHT berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. (5) Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran DL terhadap Hasil Belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Samarinda. Pengaruh Model DL bersifat positif terhadap nilai hasil belajar siswa. (6) Ada pengaruh model Pembelajaran NHT terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Samarinda. Model NHT berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai hasil belajar siswa.
