Background: Stroke is the leading cause of death in the world. The main  is the presence of hypertension or high blood pressure is usually caused by excessive stress or something surprising. Often a stroke followed by a psychological disorder including self concept disorder is caused due to the patient’s inability to do something usually done before a stroke. Therefore, the role of the family in the rehabilitation or recovery of family members with post-stroke is needed, including the fulfi llment of basic needs of patients and also their psychological needs. Objective: To know the relationship of family support to the fulfi llment of ADL in post-stroke patient in Tambak Bayan hamlet, Babarsari, Sleman, D.I YogyakartMethod: This research is descriptive analytic research using Cross Sectional .The subjects of this study were post-stroke patients in Tambak Bayan hamlet, Babarsari, Sleman, D.I Yogyakarta, amounting to 32 people. Sampling technique using Total Sampling method.Results: The results of this study indicate that family support is in good  ie 24 respondents or 75% with ADL fulfi llment 65,6% (enough). Chi square correlation test between family support relationship to post-stroke patient ADL fulfi llment in Tambak Bayan hamlet, Babarsari, Sleman, D.I Yogyakarta is known sig 0,000 which means there is correlation with strong Correlation Coeffi cient (0.722).Conclusions: There is a signifi cant relationship between family support for ADL post-stroke patient fulfi llment.

Background: Hypertension is a degenerative disease that becomes a serious problem but one way to reduce hypertension by means of cupping therapy.Objective: To know the effect of bruise therapy on blood pressure in hypertensive patients in healthy clinic Mugi Barokah Karakan, Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta Method: This research is a quantitative research, using quasi experimental (quasi experiment) with pre and posttest without control. The population of this study were hypertensive patients who performed bruise therapy with population taking at the clinic of bruise therapy as much as 15 respondents. The sampling technique used incidental samples, with a sample size of 15 people. Data collection tool using check list.Results: The results showed the value of bivariate analysis with the wilxocon test formula that there was an effect of bruise therapy on blood pressure in hypertensive patients after bruise. That there was an average decrease in blood pressure on 15 respondents of hypertension before and after cupping therapy showed with p = 0,000 and p = 0.003 where p <0.005 Conclusion: There is infl uence of bruise therapy to blood pressure in hypertension patient at Healthy Clinic Mugi Barokah Karakan Godean Sleman Yogyakarta

Background: Cervical cancer is cancer that often happens and that causes of death to women. More than 270,000 deaths of cervical cancer each year in developing countries (WHO, 2014). Objective: To determine the correlation of perception of women in reproductive about cervical cancer with motivation Pap smear in Sapuangin, Srandakan, Bantul, Yogyakarta.Methods: Research methods is used in my research was quantitative research using a descriptive correlation design with cross sectional approach. The population women in reproductive age with the number 46 of sons in Sapuangin, Srandakan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Sampling technique using saturated purposive sampling. Data collection using the questionnaire. Data analyzed used univariat analysis by fi nding the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis by correlation perception of women in reproductive age about cervical cancer with motivation Pap smear by Chi-Square. Results: Statistical test results obtained using the Chi-Square X 2 result amounted to 13.295> 5.591 X 2 tabel, the value of ρ value of 0,001 (ρ <0.05) and showed that Ha Ho accepted and rejected, meaning there is a perception of women in reproductive age about cervical cancer with motivation Pap smear in sapuangin. 0495 correlation value and signifi cance value of 0.001.Conclusion: There is a relation perception of women in reproductive age about cervical cancer with motivation Pap smear in Sapuangin, Srandakan, Bantul, Yogyakarta

Background : Parents have a strategic role in the development of children under fi ve years old. The ability of toddlers that need to be achieved is independence in toileting. Successful toileting skills require the anticipatory guidance of parents as one of the stimulation of parenting to the child. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between mother’s knowledge level of toilet training with the independence’s level of toddlers in toileting at Posyandu Sonopakis Kidul Yogyakarta.Method: It is a quantitative research with cross sectional design to mother who have toddler in Posyandu Aster I Sonopakis Kidul Yogyakarta with purposive sampling technique. The instrument was a questionnaire. Statistical test using Chi Square test to analyze the relationship between two variables.  Results: 22 respondents (73.33%) had a good level of knowledge about toilet training, 20 toddlers (66.67%) have independence in toileting. The relationship between mother’s  knowledge about toilet training with the level of independence of toddlers in toileting obtained results p value = 0.010Conclusion: There is a relationship between mother’s knowledge level about toilet training with independence level of toddler in toileting

Background: There has been hernia occurrence on November 15 th, 2016 in RSUD Wonosari.  The number of Hernia inguinalis patients from January until October 2016 was 145 people. This  figure consisted of  143 (98.60) male patients and 2 (1.30%) female patients. Objective: The study aimed at identifying the Relationship between the Patients’ Knowledge Level Regarding Hernia and the Hernia Occurrence in the Surgery Polyclinic of RSUD Wonosari. Method: The study was an analytic descriptive research by cross-sectional approach. For the sampling technique, the researchers selected the quota sampling technique. The population in this study was 300 people, while the sample that had been selected for this study was 75 respondents. The data were gathered through questionnaire distribution. The researchers also performed bivariate analysis by means of Chi Square test. Results: The results of this study showed that 24.00% of the respondents had good knowledge level regarding hernia, 32.00% of the respondents had moderate knowledge level regarding hernia, and 44.00% of the respondents had poor knowledge regarding hernia. The number of hernia patients from March 6 th March 25 th, 2016, was 9 people. From the results of signifi cance test, the researchers found the sig. value = 0.001.Conclusion: There has been signifi cant relationship between the knowledge level regarding hernia and the hernia occurrence in the Surgery Polyclinic of RSUD Wonosari.

Background: Science-oriented education and technology means that nursing education always follows the development of science and technology in health and nursing. The educational curriculum is developed based on educational goals that are directed at meeting the needs of the community and the development of health in the future by taking into account the demands of the nursing profession. In this book a core curriculum is developed containing 70% of the curriculum of the Nursing Diploma III Program and should be added 30% curriculum developed by the institution according to the needs and vision of the institution concerned. Based on the framework of reference, then Akper Insan Husada develops as well as leading the study program and listed in the vision of the study program: Become a Diploma III Nursing Program competent, competitive, character and excellence in the fi eld of emergency at the National level in 2024. The purpose of research is To describe the learning process of nursing clinics in Akper Insan Husada Surakarta to achieve the Competence Standards of emergency nursing care nursing.Subjects and Methods: The subjects of the study were all students who were undergoing emergency clinic at the hospital. The research type or method chosen is descriptive qualitative analysis. Qualitative research to further explore the data and information (exploration) so that can be known opinion and views of managers, pengampu and students to the learning process of emergency nursing clinics. Result: 1. Planning has been arranged properly and systematically according to emergency competency in curriculum 2014. Still there is difference of perception of RPP model that will be used, so that will confuse the pengampu and student who become clinic implementer. 2. The emergency clinic practice period is carried out in accordance with the place and time, ie in emergency and inroom emergency rooms with competent structural guidance that has been appointed by the hospital based on capability and fillings and expertise in the field. 3. Evaluation of learning Emergency Nursing Clinic Most of the lecturers and clinical supervisors have been carrying out the process of guidance and evalausi on students with good period of time specified.Conclusion: The result of the study implies that Insan Husada Surakarat as a nursing education institution needs to improve the quality of learning and the quality of the lecturer or the instructor of the field clinic.

Background: The advances in the fi eld of industry in Indonesia give various positive effects that are the work opportunities, the improvement of transportations and communications and the increasing of socio-economic level of the community. Industrial activity in general is also a sector that is potential as a source of pollution that would be detrimental for the health and the environment. Objective: To fi nd out the relationship between knowledge and behavior of the use of personal protective equipment (masks) with respiratory disorder in the employees of furniture industry in District of Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta Method: This research method is quantitative research with cross sectional design. Result: There is no relationship between the level of knowledge with respiratory disorder in the employees of furniture industry in District of Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta with p-value 0,878> 0,05. There is a relationship between the behavior of the use of personal protective equipment (masks) with respiratory disorder in the employees of furniture industry in District of Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta with a value 0,001 of p-value<0,05.Conclusion: There is no relationship between the levels of knowledge with respiratory disorder in the employees of furniture industry in the District of Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta. There is a relationship between the behaviors of the use of personal protective equipment (masks) with respiratory disorder in the employees of furniture industry in District of Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta.

Background: The eating habits of junk food among teenagers and its effects on their health. This study found the diet of teenagers who are suspended by junk food alias junk food for lack of essential vitamins because it causes various health problems in the future. This is in accordance with the results of the preliminary study at SMK Trisula 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta where there are some teenagers who do not know about unhealthy eating habits with nutritional status.Objective: To know relation of adolescent perception about healthy eating habits with nutritional status at SMK Trisula 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Methods: The type of research used is descriptive analytic using cross sectional approach. Number of respondents. Methods data using questionnaires, weight size, height, univariate bivariate.Result: Adolescent perception about unhealthy eating habits at SMK Trisula 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta as a whole with adolescent perception rate of 14 people (24,1%), teenage score 18 people (31,0%), and adolescent perception less 25 people (44.8%). Conclusion: Overall perception of adolescent about unhealthy eating habits with nutritional status in SMK Trisula 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta seen at frequency of adolescent perception about healthy healthy eating habits do not have less adolescent perception leve

Background: The knowledge and preventive behaviors toward stroke must be associated because this disease is often called as “CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)”. Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the world. 15 million people worldwide suffer a stroke, one-third of them die and the rest is left permanently disabled. Indonesia Basic Health Research in 2013 especially in Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) shown that stroke is the second leading non-communicable disease in DIY. Data of stroke recorded in Public Health Offi ce in Sleman in 2015 indicated that the highest number was 1.325 cases. Data of Community Health Center (PUSKESMAS) in Ngaglik II in 2015 shown that there were 142 stroke cases occurred, and the highest was in Donoharjo with 62 people spread in all villages, and the leading case was in Donolayan village with 8 people. Objectives: To fi nd out the level of knowledge about stroke, preventive behaviors, and the association between the knowledge about stroke and the preventive behaviors in communities of Donolayan Donoharjo Sleman Yogyakarta. Methods: The method used in this research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The respondents participated in this research are 64 people aged 40-60 years old in Donolayan village. The sampling technique employed is total sampling, and the data processing used in this research is Chi-square.Results: The result indicated that the level of knowledge in communities about stroke was 54 people (84,4%), and the preventive behaviors of stroke were 50 people (78,1%), and there was a signifi cant relation known sig (2-sided) 0,033<0,1 with correlation coeffi cient value 0,281.Conclusion: There was a signifi cant relation between the knowledge about stroke and the preventive behaviors of stroke in communities of Donolayan Donoharjo Sleman Yogyakarta. Therefore, the better the knowledge of respondents have, the better the preventive behaviors of respondents obtain.
