Abstrak Kabupaten Badung merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata di Bali. Letak daerah ini sangat strategis yang merupakan akses wisata  ke Kuta Selatan,  Kuta dan ke Bandara Internasional Ngurah Rai. Daerah ini juga dilengkapi dengan sarana kepariwisataan yang dibutuhkan oleh wisatawan ketika berwisata meliputi restoran, akomodasi dan souvenir.Kajian penelitian ini difokuskan pada restoran merupakan suatu usaha komersial yang menyediakan jasa pelayanan makan dan minum bagi umum dan dikelola secara professional. Keberadaan restoran sebagai salah satu sarana penting dalam kegiatan pariwisata ada yang berdiri sendiri dan ada yang menjadi satu dengan lingkungan hotel. Restoran yang di kaji adalah restoran yang terdapat di dalam lingkungan hotel dan menyediakan kuliner lokal sebagai daya tarik bagi wisatawan yang menginap pada hotel berbintang di Kabupaten Badung. Beragamnya restoran yang tumbuh dan berkembang saat ini perlu kiranya untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi wisatawan terhadap adaptasi kuliner lokal tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui kajian deskriptif interpretatif  dan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan kuliner lokal dari aspek persepsi. Penyajian hasil yang diuraikan secara Kualitatif dan  Kuantitatif,  dengan  demikian  akan  diperoleh  gambaran  yang  lebih  jelas  dan mendalam tentang penelitian yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa persepsi wisatawan terhadap kuliner lokal yang ditawarkan pada hotel berbintang di Kabupaten Badung dengan katagori baik yang ditunjukkan dengan skor rata-rata 3,70. Hal ini dilihat dari aspek penampilan dalam penyajian, kualitas produk, kesesuian harga, variasi menu dan kualitas pelayanan. Adapun indikator kualitas pelayanan mendapatkan skor tertinggi sebesar 4.45 yang berarti sangat baik, karena kualitas pelayanan dalam usaha hospitality merupakan kunci utama bagi perusahaan jasa untuk mewujudkan kepuasan dari wisatawan. Variasi menu yang ditawarkan merupakan indikator dengan skor terrendah sebesar 2,65 yang artinya kuliner lokal yang ditawarkan memiliki variasi menu yang kurang beranekaragam sehingga wisatawan sulit untuk melakukan pemilihan terhadap kuliner lokal yang ditawarkan.   Kata Kunci :Kuliner Lokal, Wisatawan, Restoran

ABSTRACT   Abstrak Jorong Aie Sanam merupakan jorong yang terletak di Nagari Sungai Nanam Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok. Jorong aie sanam memiliki pemandangan yang indah dan letaknya yang starategis yang dikelilingi perbukitan. Potensi wisata yang ada di jorongan Aie Sanam berupa Embung Sungai Nanam dan Bukik Cambai.Embung Sungai Nanam berdiri sejak tahun 2017, yang dibangun oleh PUPR yang kemudian dalam pengelolaannya diserahkan kepada masyarakat Aie Sanam. Dalam pengelolaannya ini masyarakat menjadikan Embung sebagai objek wisata. Namu dalam pengelolaannya, sejauh ini wisata tersebut belum begitu optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kendala yang dialami masyarakat dalam mengembangkan Objek Wisata Embung Sungai Nanam Di Aie Sanam Di Kecematan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori fungsionalisme struktural dari paradigma fakta sosial mengenai disfungsional yang dikemukakan oleh Robert K. Merton. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.  Pemilihan informan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan 9 orang, jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Metode pengunpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi non partisipan dan wawancara mendalam, unit analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kelompok. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman, Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang menjadi kendala masyarakat dalam mengembangakan wisata Embung Sungai Nanam di jorong Aie Sanam diakibatkan oleh 1) keterbatasan dana dan penyelewengan dana, 2) kurangnya kerjasama masyarakat yang diakibatkan karena sensitifitas masyarakat, serta adanya pro dan kontra masyarakat terhadap pemberian nama wisata Embung Sungai Nanam, 3) kurangnya sarana prasarana yang ada diwisata, yang diakibatkan keterbatasan dana yang terjadi.   Kata kunci: wisata Embung, kendala, pengembangan

  Abstract The research motivated by the increasing of accommodation growth in Badung Regency and backpacker trend tourism development that increase with economic accommodation needed. Backpacker is a person or group of people who trave for a relatively long time, with minimal budget, use motorbike as transportation and arrange itinerary independently.The variables used are advertising, personal selling, selling promotion and public relation and publicity. The data obtained through observation, questionnaire, literature study and documentation. Sampling technique using purposive sampling with total of respondent are 170 of backpacker tourists. Data analysis in this research using multiple linear regression to find impact of independent variable to dependent variable by partially and simultaneously. The test gave result simultaneously X’s variable got 15,460 Fcount with Ftabel 2,659. Therefore, partially with result tcount of advertising (X1) 3,080, personal selling (X2) 1,031, sales promotion (X3) 3,149, public relation and publicity (X4) 3,012 with ttabel 1,974 and determination coefficients is 27,3%. Conclusion of the research there are three variable have significantly, advertising (X1), sales promotion (X3), and public relation and publicity (X4) impacts of buying decision of backpacker about budget hotel. Therefore one variable is personal selling (X2) doesn’t give significantly impact. Also there are simultaneously impacts of promotional mix (X) variable to the buying decision of backpacker about budget hotel (Y). While, the dominant variable that impacts buying decision of backpacker about budget hotel in Badung Regency is advertising. Keywords: Backpacker, Budget Hotel, Promotional Mix, Accommodation

This research is motivated by the quality of service bartenders / bartendres who must provide good service to tourists by providing good service. The purpose of this study was to find out about the quality of bartender / bartendres services and tourist satisfaction criteria for bartender / bartendres services at the Sea Fire Salt Bar at Anantara Uluwatu Resort & Spa Bali. Data collection techniques in this study used the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. Data were analyzed with Quantitative Descriptive Analysis, Likert Scale and Importance - Performance Analysis The results of the study of 100 tourists from performance appraisal that affected the level of tourist satisfaction with the service quality of bartenders / bartendres at Sea Fire Salt in Anantara Uluwatu Resort & Spa Bali obtained an assessment of service quality performance categorized as good for tourist satisfaction. Of the five (5) indicators, all indicators get the same score that is said to be good, and no one answers very well. While the assessment of interests that affect the level of tourist satisfaction with the service quality of bartenders / bartendres at Sea Fire Salt in Anantara Uluwatu Resort & Spa Bali obtained an assessment of service quality performance categorized as important and very important to tourist satisfaction.Suggestions that can be given to the quality of service of the bartender / bartendres must continue to be improved so that tourists who visit get satisfaction and visitors are expected to return to visit the Sea Fire Salt Bar at Anantara Uluwatu Resort & Spa Bali

    Abstract The aim  of this research is to determine the competitiveness and strategy to increase the competitiveness aspect of Front Office and Housekeeping Department especially room attendant section at Prama Sanur Beach Hotel, based on MEA 2015 drives competition between all labors more increasing. This research also based on the Front Office staff largely had above 20 years of service and had age above 45 years . The located of this research was in Prama Sanur Beach Hotel, Cemara street, Sanur Village, Denpasar. The tecnique of collecting data were observation, interviews, documentation and questionare.The technique of sampling in this research used quota and incidental sampling. The kind of data are qualitative and quantitative data, while source of data are primary data and secondary data. This research used descriptive analysis, data reduction, likert scale analysis and SWOT Analysis Based on the results of this research, Guest Service Attendant has score 4,30 category very good, Concierge has score 4,11 category good, GuestRelation Officer has score 4,30 category very good, Telepon Operator has score 3,94 category good and the average score is 4,15 category good and be able to have improvement. Room Attendant has score 4,15 category good and be able to have improvement. Some main strategy in Front Office there are departemental training, section training, refreshment training, handling complaint training, internal trainer, and employes sertification. Strategy in Housekeeping Department there are   departemental training, handling guest complaint training, internal trainer, employes sertification, outing intern department program.   Keywords           : Competitiveness, Labor, Front Office Department, Housekeeping Department

Obyek wisata adalah segala sesuatu yang unik, indah, dan bernilai tinggi berupa keanekaragaman kekayaan alam dan buatan yang menjadi sasaran atau tujuan kunjungan wisatawan dan daerah tujuan wisata disebut destinasi pariwisata sebagai tujuan wisata, Dusun Kaleak, Sagulubbeg. Desa Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Siberut memiliki objek wisata berupa air terjun Majaujau yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi destinasi wisata di Pulau Mentawai. Namun dalam perkembangannya objek wisata ini belum tertata dengan baik, oleh karena itu perlu adanya upaya pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk mengembangkan destinasi wisata ini. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori fungsional struktural Robert K. Merton. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan informan dengan cara purposive sampling dengan informan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah telah melakukan upaya pengembangan objek wisata air terjun Majaujau, walaupun belum maksimal namun perkembangan tersebut dapat dilihat melalui daya tarik, aksesibilitas, fasilitas, dan kelembagaan yang semuanya ada di dalamnya. Bentuk: pembangunan WC umum, promosi berupa spanduk, pertunjukan Turuk Langgai di daerah. Daya tarik wisata, sedangkan masyarakat berupaya berpromosi melalui penerapan sapta pesona. Pengelola air terjun Majaujau adalah kepala desa dan masyarakat sekitar.

  Abstract Palembang City is the capital of South Sumatra Province which has diverse tourism potential in attracting tourists. It cannot be denied that the Asian Games will be held in 2018, contributing to the increasing number of accommodations in the city of Palembang. With the promotion activities carried out by hotel managers as well as offering the best prices for consumers, the determination of purchasing decisions will be easier. This research is a descriptive verification study using explanatory survey methods and the analysis technique used is path analysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotions and prices both simultaneously and partially on purchasing decisions at three Three-Star Hotels, namely Santika Radial Palembang, Batiqa Hotel Palembang, and Swarna Dipa Hotels. The relationship between promotion variables on purchasing decisions has a value of 0.988. The relationship between price variables on purchasing decisions has a price value of 0.756. The relationship between promotion and price on purchasing decisions based on the results of this study states have a significant influence on purchasing decisions.   Abstract                     Based of the research by the increasing problem of turnover intention at The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua, Bali. Variables that caused of increased turnover intention are variables of work stress and work insecurity. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of job stress and job insecurity on turnover intention at The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua Bali, and to determine the effect job stress and job insecurity on turnover intention. Techniques data collection by observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. While the sampling technique is saturated sample with a number of respondents of 50 people. This research using descriptive qualitative and quantitative technique consisting of a likert scale, validity test and reliability test, classic assumption test, correlation test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and determination test.                   The results shows that Fcount (39,020)> Ftable (3.20) with a sig value of 0,000 or <? (0,05). This shows that job stress variables (X1) and job insecurity (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention (Y) at The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua. The t-test or partial results show that job stress has a total influence of 2,566 with a significance level of 0.014 <0.05 and job insecurity has an influence of 5,849 with a significance level of 0,000 <0.05 which means that job stress and job insecurity have a positive and significant effect on employee turnover intention in The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua. Furthermore, the results of the determination test showed that the effect of job stress and job insecurity on turnover intention was 62.4% and the remaining 37.6% was influenced by other factors not included in this study.     Key Word : Job Stress, Job Insecurity, Turnover Intention, and The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua Bali

  Abstract On the site for online review there are some elements that are often read, namely information about the object sought, products presented in the form of reviews, photos, places and facilities downloaded on the page which will influence the decision to stay at a hotel. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an online review market (general information, reviews, photos, location, and facilities) on the booking.com site on travelers' decisions to stay at De Vins Sky Hotel, Seminyak. To find out the most significant variable influencing tourist decisions to stay at De Vins Sky Hotel, Seminyak. The way to collect data is through observation, questionnaires and literature study. The research method used in this research is Descriptive Statistical Analysis with Likert scale calculation, and Inferential Statistical Analysis consisting of correlation analysis, Multiple Linear Analysis, Simultaneous Analysis (F Test), Partial Analysis (T test), Determination Analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence from the Online Review on Booking.com on travelers' decision to stay at De Vins Sky Hotel with an F value of 19.667> F table (3.94) and sig. 0,000 <0.05, which means that the effect simultaneously so if the X variable (Online Review) increases or influences in one unit, then the variable Y (Decision Overnight) will increase or be fulfilled. The conclusion in outline is that online review has a positive and significant effect on travelers' decision to stay at De Vins Sky hotel with the most significant sub-variable facilities.   Keywords : Online Review, Booking.com, Decision to Stay.

  Abstract This Research was motivated by the complains submitted by tourists regarding the quality of food in Harris Restaurant at Harris Raya Kuta Hotel. The purpose of this research was findout food quality towards tourists satisfaction in Harris Restaurant at Harris Raya Kuta Hotel. The variable used in this research is quality of food and tourists satisfaction. The type of data in this research are qualitative and quantitative data, while the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Method of collecting data are observation, interview, quitionare, documentation, and literature riview. Sampling technique uses quota sampling technique by determining the number of samples using the Slovin’s Formula and obtained as many as 100 samples. Technique of analyzing data used in this research are descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis consisting of descriptive statistical analysis by using a Likert Scale, inferensial statistical consisting of validity test, reliability test and important Performance Analysis.The result indicates that indicators that have given satisfaction to tourists are indicators of maturity level indicator, freshness to make food, portion, and texture. Then the rating of tourists on the quality of food in Harris Restaurant at Harris Raya Kuta Hotel obtained a score of 89,92% or tourists were satisfied with the quality of food in Harris Restaurant at Harris Raya Kuta Hotel.
