Under the assumption of Möbius monotonicity, we develop the theory of strong stationary duality for continuous time Markov chains on the finite partially ordered state space, we also construct a nonexplosive algebraic duality for continuous time Markov chains on Finally, we present an application to the two-dimensional birth and death chain.

Fractional-order PID (FOPID) controller is a generalization of standard PID controller using fractional calculus. Compared to PID controller, the tuning of FOPID is more complex and remains a challenge problem. This paper focuses on the design of FOPID controller using wound healing algorithm (WHA) based on clonal selection principle. The tuning of FOPID controller is formulated as a nonlinear optimization problem, in which the objective function is composed of overshoot, steady-state error, raising time and settling time. WHA algorithm, a newly developed evolutionary algorithm inspired by human immune system, is used as the optimizer to search the best parameters of FOPID controller. The designed WHA-FOPID controller is applied to various systems. Numerous numerical simulations and comparisons with other FOPID/PID controllers show that the WHA-FOPID controller can not only ensure good control performance with respect to reference input but also improve the system robustness with respect to model uncertainties.

In order to achieve the multi-focus image fusion task, a sparse representation method based on quaternion for multi-focus image fusion is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the RGB color information of each pixel in the color image is represented by quaternion based on the relevant knowledge of computational mathematics, and the color image pixel is processed as a whole vector to maintain the relevant information between the three color channels. Secondly, the dictionary represented by quaternion and the sparse coefficient represented by quaternion are obtained by using the our proposed sparse representation model. Thirdly, the coefficient fusion is carried out by using the “max-L1” rule. Finally, the fused sparse coefficient and dictionary are used for image reconstruction to obtain the quaternion fused image, which is then converted into RGB color multi-focus fused image. Our method belongs to computational mathematics, and uses the relevant knowledge in the field of computational mathematics to help us carry out the experiment. The experimental results show that the method has achieved good results in visual quality and objective evaluation.

Spinocerebellar ataxias or SCAs, are a group of more than 37 genetically and clinically heterogeneous known neurodegenerative diseases. This work analyzes the level of genetic similarity between several ataxias, we identified proteins that are associated with more than one ataxia. A decision tree was trained to identify ataxias by identifying whether a new entry disease not yet identified and not classified can be grouped as an ataxia. Altogether 12 proteins from different ataxias were verified, all 12 proteins were analyzed in 500 different trees to better evaluate the method used. Of the 12 proteins tested, the method was correct for 10 different proteins or 83% of correct results. This identifier and the results obtained in the experiments allow a greater characterization of the diseases addressed, it also allows applications such as the reuse of treatments for similar diseases.

Full Swing Gate Diffusion Input (FS-GDI) approach is power effective approach for realizing the different logic gates. In this research, this approach is utilized for realizing different four ALU design using 45nm and 130nm technologies. Also, the different low power VLSI logic styles and related past works are discussed with considering the 45nm and 65nm technologies for implementing various circuits for studying the technology size impact. The performance of the proposed ALU design is evaluated through power consumption, propagation delay and number of transistors. The variation of the ALU performance due to the used 45nm and 130nm technologies has been studied. The simulation is carried out utilizing Cadence Virtuoso simulator. The simulation experiments revealed the energy of the 4-bit ALU reduced by 32% compared to CMOS-based design and area of the digital circuits reducing. Regarding the different nano technologies, 45nm technology provides lower power consumption and delay time deceasing compared to ALU unit by 130nm technology. The presented approach of low hardware complexity achieves simplicity of the required ALU hardware through reducing the number of transistors.

In modern economic theory, scientific and technological progress one consider different economic risks. The influence of scientific and technological progress on a particular sector of the economy appears in the creation of new products that have important competitive advantages over existing ones, or in the modification (modernization) of existing products. Often, new products based on new (innovative) technologies. However, technological superiority requires well-timed modernization of production and staff training, that is, significant financial and organizational investments. At the same time, the rejection of the transition to innovative technologies can lead to tangible losses in market positions or even to a complete cessation of the organization. In this paper, we introduce a model for estimations influence of risks on development of industrial enterprises. An analytical approach for analyzing the influence of various parameters on the proceeds has been introduced.
