Cancer is currently a public health problem. It should be noted that most patients require treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy among other procedures to recover their health. The aim of this study was to analyze the development of scientific evidence on standards for the safe administration of chemotherapy in cancer patients. Methodology: a descriptive systematic review was performed with the search of databases in Pub Med and Scopus selected articles from 2015 - 2020 in English and Spanish languages. The results indicate that the safe administration of chemotherapy in oncology patients requires nurses to use updated standardized protocols and care guidelines with continuous training, as well as to carry out preventive actions of monitoring, control and follow-up for compliance with the protocols. It is concluded that adverse events should be socialized among nurses to assume improvement plans and strategies to raise the quality of the services provided by the nursing professional, as well as to avoid errors and complications of malpractice in the administration of chemotherapy.

Hypothesis: Intrinsic and extrinsic risk factors are significantly associated in the development of pressure ulcers. The research was applied, correlational, retrospective, quantitative. The population was 180 Clinical Histories, of which 60 belonged to patients who presented pressure ulcers (Cases) and 120 to patients who did not present pressure ulcers (Controls). The instrument was a data collection sheet; the information being processed through the SSPS Vs 22 program. The Chi square statistical test, the P - Value was less than 5%. The results were; age, sex, mobility, incontinence, nutrition, state of consciousness, degree of dependence and main diagnosis are intrinsic risk factors for the appearance of pressure ulcers, also extrinsic factors; Hospital stay, availability of equipment and materials, postural changes, body hygiene, massages, location of pressure ulcers and stages are risk factors for the formation of pressure ulcers. Conclusion: intrinsic and extrinsic factors are significantly associated with the development of pressure ulcers in adulthood and older adults.

Nursing care in central and peripheral venous access is part of nursing work, and the quality of care is affected by the presence of phlebitis in various hospitalization areas. Therefore, factors related to phlebitis are identified. Objective: To analyze the development of scientific evidence on intrinsic and extrinsic factors associated with phlebitis in hospitalized patients. Methodology: A literature search was carried out in databases over the last ten years. There was no language restriction, studies in English, Spanish and Portuguese published in full-text indexed journals were included. A critical analysis of each selected article was carried out, creating a matrix for ordering and categorizing. Results: From a total of 64 articles, 9 were included of which 2 were English and 7 in Portuguese, whose results were that there are intrinsic factors specific to the patient, extrinsic factors that correspond to factors that can be avoidable by the nursing professional when identified. Conclusions: Phlebitis is considered an indicator of nursing service quality. In the course of the article reviews, multiple factors related to phlebitis have been identified, with which preventive, corrective and educational measures should be taken in the areas where venous accesses are manipulated, avoiding future complications, as well as improving the quality of care reflected in the indicators of phlebitis with a zero result as a goal.

Currently the pandemic has caused health systems to collapse due to the high demand of patients with VOC 19 with a high risk of mortality bringing with it pain, suffering and death. Objective: To determine the relationship between a nurse's attitude and coping with the death of a cancer patient with COVID-19 in the Critical Care Unit. Methodology: Quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional and non-experimental design approach. The population is made up of a total of 65 nursing professionals who work in the Critical Care Unit. An instrument was applied on attitudes towards death CAM with 3 dimensions: affective, behavioral and cognitive, with 33 items and the Bugen Scale for facing death with 30 items, both Likert scales. The results show that there is a significant correlation 0.039 between both variables and in the case of the nurse's attitude according to the dimensions: cognitive, behavioral, affective and coping, their correlations are: 0.521, 0.719, 0.015 respectively. It is concluded that the attitude and the coping of the nursing professional in the face of the death of the cancer patient with COVID 19, assume a posture of resilience to offer continuous nursing care to ensure, restore and safeguard the life of the person as a priority in their leading role within the health system based on commitment and social responsibility despite the threats of existing occupational risks. Biosecurity measures are indispensable in the work of nursing care to ensure the quality and impact of nursing care interventions in the areas of care. Objective: To determine the relationship between biosecurity measures and healthcare-associated infection control in the work of nurses in the emergency department of a National Hospital, Essalud, 2019. The methodology was a quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional, non-experimental design, whose population consisted of 152 nurses working in the emergency area, for which 3 instruments were applied: Scale of knowledge of biosecurity measures with 14 items with multiple answers, Checklist of biosecurity measures with 17 items, and Handwashing checklist with 11 items, both instruments with a dichotomous scale. Both instruments were evaluated by experts and their reliability was 0.8. The results obtained show that there is a significant positive average correlation between the variables measured of biosecurity and the control of infections associated to health care. It is concluded that nurses' knowledge of biosecurity measures and HAIs pose a high risk to health personnel and patients. Therefore, it is essential to continue training, monitoring, follow-up and control to ensure the quality and impact of nursing care in emergency services.
