In the 18th century, although the Dutch Company controlled most of the archipelago, the Netherlands also experienced a decline in trade. This was due to the large number of corrupt employees and the fall in the price of spices which eventually created the VOC. Under the rule of H.W. Daendels, the colonial government began to change the way of exploitation from the old conservative way which focused on trade through the VOC to exploitation managed by the government and the private sector. Ulama also strengthen their ties with the general public through judicial management, and compensation, and waqaf assets, and by leading congregational prayers and various ceremonies for celebrating birth, marriage and death. Their links with a large number of artisans, workers (workers), and the merchant elite were very influential.

Evidently, a few months after the Jakarta Charter was signed, Christian circles from Eastern Indonesia submitted an ultimatum, if the seven words in the Jakarta Charter were still included in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, then the consequence was that they would not want to join the Republic of Indonesia. The main reason put forward by Pastor Octavian was that Indonesia was seen from its georaphical interests and structure, Western Indonesia was known as the base of Islamic camouflage, while eastern Indonesia was the basis for Christian communities. Oktavianus added that Christians as an integral part of this nation need to realize that they also have the right to life, religious rights, political rights, economic rights, the same rights to the nation and state as other citizens, who in fact are mostly Muslims. This paper aims to determine and understand the extent to which the basic assumptions of the Indonesian people view the role of Islam as presented in an exclusive format.

This article focuses on the activities of the preaching of Nahdlatul Ulama as one of the religious organizations in Indonesia in the realm of the internet world. Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is considered an Islamic organization that is anti-technological development. This assumption was born as a result of the wrong view of evaluating Nahdlatul Ulama as a pioneer of the traditionalist group due to the mismatch between religion and modernity. For Nahdlatul Ulama itself, the internet can be used as a useful medium for religion and can be used as a medium for deradicalization. The positive response of religion is seen in the use of the internet by Nahdlatul Ulama which is categorized into four forms of use, namely ideological, contextual, polemical and strategic use. All of these forms indicate that the internet as part of modernity can be used for the benefit and broadcast of religious information.

This article discusses the thoughts, methods, origins, and influences of Javanese Islamic philosophical thought Damardjati Supadjar. Born in Losari Village, Grabag District, Magelang Regency, March 30, 1940 died 17 February 2014 in Sleman Yogyakarta. The method of thinking is: unique, operational, and testified. The origin and influence of the philosophy of the process were greatly influenced by Whitehead, who developed himself by Damardjati Supadjar who became an (othak-athik gathuk) philosophy. Damardjati Supadjar thoughts about Javanese Islamic philosophy can be seen from the view of nature as sangkan paraning dumadi, which is about the origin and purpose of everything in the universe that comes from God and returns to Him. Humans as khalifatullah mongko ojo dumeh (forbidden from acting arbitrarily). In divinity there is sarira batara (kawula-gusti), that is, humans are only kumawula (servants) who have to melt in the leprosy (God). Then education is ngelmu iku kalakone kanthi laku behavior when the intention to get knowledge must be lived through behavior (the process of seeking knowledge). While morality is critical thinking on the basis of the teaching of acting to be a good human being.

The success of Muslims in spreading their teachings in the archipelago is very clearly seen by the evidence of the domination of Muslims in the archipelago today. This success is inseparable from the services of traders, preachers, kyai and teachers of the Koran. Including walisongo who has succeeded in introducing Islamic teachings to remote areas of Java. They use many approaches so that Islam can be well accepted by the surrounding community without war. One of them is by inserting Islamic values and teachings into the traditions and culture of Javanese society. Like Sunan Kudus, which is very tolerant of the culture that has been formed and rooted in the Kudus community. He adopted a lot of Hindu-Buddhist art and culture that has long been attached to the life of the Javanese people. Building the al-Aqsa Mosque that combines ancient Javanese mosque architecture with Indian Mughal architecture, the Kudus Tower is very similar to the Hindu Majapahit temple, places Buddhist teachings that do not conflict with Islamic teachings on the architecture of ablution and prohibits the slaughter of cows which are considered sacred by Hindus. All of this was done by Sunan Kudus to create Cultural Islam, Islam that interacts with culture so that it can be well received by the community without having to eliminate existing traditions and culture.

The phenomenon of globalization has entered people's lives, including in Semat Village, Tahunan District, Jepara Regency. The indicator is the development of information technology tools and changes in people's attitudes and lifestyles that tend to follow modern styles. Even though, globalization has not discouraged people from participating in several activities that are in line with the SDGs target in the economic and education sectors, especially in efforts to end poverty and ensure inclusively and quality education. This study aims to emphasize the role of guru ngaji in promoting sustainable global development (SDGs) in the economic and educational domains. The basic thought of maqashid has existed since the time of the companions, even when the Prophet was still living with them. If it is said that maqashid and maslahah are closely related, then it can be said that the forerunner of thoughts related to the concept of maqashid also departed from the thought of the argument of syara 'and its use as maslahat becomes an important consideration as a legal argument when there is no sharih text from the Qur'an or hadith and ordered to perform ijtihad. It is in this ijtihad process that a mujtahid bases his thoughts on the consideration of goodness during the stipulation of the law. If there is maslahat, there is the law of Allah SWT and vice versa, if there is madharat, then the prohibition will be taken by a mujtahid. Caliph Umar ra's policy based on a maqashid approach was not less than forty issues, all of which could be classified into several groups; regarding property (amwal), had and punishments and consequences (hudud wa 'uqubat), marriage and divorce (zawaj wa thalaq), inheritance (mirats) and other problems.

An abstract is a brief, comprehensive summary of the contents of the article; it allows readers to survey the contents of an article quickly and, like a title, it enables persons interested in the document to retrieve it from abstracting and indexing databases. Most scholarly journals require an abstract. Consult the instructions to authors or web page of the journal to which you plan to submit your article for any journal-specific instructions. A well-prepared abstract can be the most important single paragraph in an article. Most people have their first contact with an article by seeing just the abstract, usually in comparison with several other abstracts, as they are doing a literature search. Readers frequently decide on the basis of the abstract whether to read the entire article. The abstract needs to be dense with information. By embedding key words in your abstract, you enhance the user's ability to find it. Do not exceed the abstract word limit of the journal to which you are submitting your article. Word limits vary from journal to journal and typically range from 100 to 150 words.
