Bu araştırmada sığınmacılara yönelik paylaşımların yapıldığı sosyal medyada yer alan sözlüklerden birinde sığınmacılara yönelik algıya bakılmıştır. Yöntem olarak nitel desende olan bu çalışmada, bir sosyal medya sitesinde yer alan paylaşımlar içerik analizi yoluyla derinlemesine incelenip yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda sosyal medya kullanıcılarının sığınmacıları büyük bir güvensizlik ortamı ve huzursuzluk yaratan bireyler olarak gördükleri saptanmış, sığınmacılarla yaşanan deneyimlerin ve medyadaki haberlerin bu düşüncelerin oluşmasında etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanında sosyal medya kullanıcılarının devletin sığınmacılar konusunda yanlış politika izlediğini düşündükleri ve sığınmacılar için etkili bir planlama yapılmadığını ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Çalışmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda medyada sığınmacılar hakkında çıkan haberlerde olumsuz ve şiddet temalı haberlerin azaltılması, Suriyeli sığınmacıların durumu, sahip oldukları haklar ve topluma yansımaları hakkında doğru ve bilgilendirici kamu spotları hazırlanması ayrıca sığınmacıların topluma entegre olma sürecinin her basamağında daha planlı ve etkili bir yol izlenmesi önerilebilir.ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHPerceptions about Syrian refugees on social media: an evaluation of a social media platformIn this research, posts which are about Syrian refugees were published in a social media platform, called as “sözlük” were investigated. The research is a qualitative research. The posts in this platform are analyzed with content analysis method. According to results of analyses, social media users see Syrian refugees as people who create an insecure and a restless environment. The experiences people had with them and news have an effect on this view. In addition, social media users think that government made inappropriate policies and ineffective plans about Syrian refugees. It is suggested negative news about Syrian refugees should be decreased and government should make safer policies. In addition, adaptation of refugees to society should be made in more planned and effective way.

Background The value of qualitative research is increasingly acknowledged in health studies, as well as the demand for employing rigorous strategies. Although the literature recognises that reflexivity is a valuable and rigorous strategy, few studies unravel the practical employment of reflexivity as a strategy for ensuring rigour and quality in qualitative research. Aim To present a practical example of how reflexivity can be employed as a strategy for ensuring rigour by reviewing 13 narratives from the author's reflexive diary on qualitative research. Methods Content analysis and narrative analysis were used to approach and analyse data. Findings Analysis of the posited qualitative research study found five main outcomes of the influence of reflexivity as a strategy to establish criteria of rigour. Conclusions Further research is needed to show how reflexivity can be employed as a strategy in qualitative research to: i) establish criteria of rigour; ii) monitor the researcher's subjectivity in generating credible findings.

This article discusses Iranian family members’ attitudes towards the culturally profiled nursing home, their relationships with the staff, the obstacles, their hopes and their fears. This study is based on qualitative research using 29 semi-structured interviews with family members who had previously been informal caregivers, as well as using fieldwork, all in the same nursing home. The interviews were analysed by the three steps of content analysis. The results show the identification of three main categories with nine main subcategories. The categories and subcategories in the table clarify and explain how the interviewees tended to compare the situation in Iran with that in Sweden, how they perceived the situation in Sweden and finally how they also saw the culturally profiled nursing home.

The purpose of this study was to examine the opinions of engineering students from various departments regarding the progress tracking and digital badge features applied in courses in the Learning Management System (LMS). The phenomenological design which is a qualitative research method is used in this study. Online forms with close and open questions were used to collect data. The study was conducted with a total of 226 students, who studied in 5 different departments. The data is subject to content analysis. According to the research results, students stated that the features tested triggered motivation to complete assignments and develop other students. As for the opinion of some students that these features should be held in every course in the LMS. Despite the general view of an LMS equipped with these features (Moodle), their general view of the features, especially the progress tracking feature and digital badges is quite good. What needs to be questioned is the willingness of lecturers and policymakers to apply it consistently in the campus environment.

Kalila and Dimna, which is considered as one of the classic works of the Eastern literature, is a political morality and advice book that is still in effect thanks to the knowledge of wisdom it offers. The aim of this study is to examine this work according to the Western classifications of values (UNESCO, Rokeach, Schwartz, Spranger) since it sheds light on the present age with the wisdom knowledge it holds although it was penned centuries ago. The study was designed as qualitative research and data collection was done with the four value classifications above. During the analysis of the study data, percentage and frequency analyses were used under the content analysis. The results of the study indicate that Kalila and Dimna includes all the values contained in abovementioned classifications originating from the Western civilization.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to see the situation regarding the indicators from the Sustainability Reports. For this we use a qualitative research, a content analysis of these reports. Our sample is composed by the banks that develop their activity in our country for which we analysed the last year reports at group level. We choose only an industry sector to obtain the homogeneity of the sample. The findings reveal a number of 86 indicators, which were used in these reports. We analyzed the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) indicators used by 12 companies. The most reported indicators are EN4, EN8, LA1, LA10, while the last reported indicators are E5, E10 E13 E15, EN20, EN21, EN23, EN27, HR9, HR10 The results obtained are important for future research in this area, for both managers and researchers.

The article presents the results of the qualitative research of social media, managed by the Institute of the Civil Society, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, in cooperation with the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The research aimed to analyse different areas of the current management challenges and their perception of the selected social networks. The study concentrates on the presentation of the chosen manufacturers of the automotive industry and furniture industry on social media. The content analysis was based on the VADER (Valence Aware Dictionary and Entiment Reasoner) lexicon that was explicitly tuned to sentiments expressed in social media and QDA software.

Abstract Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah was one of the Islah Minangkabau scholar that play a huge role in the Islah Islamic thought and Islamic education reformation. Even though his education background is informal and was only received in the Minangkabau region, he can be regarded as an exemplary scholar that is very progressive and can be regarded highly with other Islah scholars. His biggest contribution that gives a huge impact towards the Muslim Minangkabau community is the Islamic education reformation with modern orientation. This model of modern Islamic education Institution that was introduced by Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyah became a prime example to the establishment of other Islamic education institution. Thus, this research will study the Islah movement in Minagkabau and the biography of Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah. In addition, the objective of this research is to analyse his role regarding the thought purification and Islamic education reformation in Indonesia.This research is a qualitative research that utilizes the content analysis as the research design with the use of historical research method.The finding of this research shows that Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah was one of the Islah scholars from the 20th century. Even though he did not receive a formal education and only receive his education in Minangkabau, he emerge as one of the reformation figure of Islah that have a huge impact to the Islah movement in Minangkabau especially the Islamic education reformation and also the Islah of Islamic thought in Minangkabau. The Islamic education reformation that has been done by Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah become the foundation and model of the Islamic education reformation in whole of Minangkabau and Indonesia. Walaupun beliau mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan yang tidak teratur dan hanya belajar dalam wilayah Minangkabau, namun beliau merupakan seorang tokoh ulama yang begitu progresif dan mampu menyamai tokoh-tokoh islah terkemuka yang lain. Sumbangan terbesar beliau yang memberi impak besar kepada umat Islam Minangkabau ialah pembaharuan pendidikan Islam berorientasikan moden. Model institusi pendidikan Islam moden yang diperkenalkan oleh Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah menjadi contoh kepada penubuhan institusi pendidikan Islam yang lain. Justeru, kajian ini meneliti gerakan islah di Minangkabau dan biografi Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah. Selain itu, objektif kajian ini juga menganalisis peranan beliau terhadap pemurnian pemikiran dan pembaharuan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Kajian ini merupakan kajian yang berbentuk kualitatif menggunakan analisis kandungan sebagai reka bentuk kajian dengan menggunakan metode kajian sejarah. Hasil kajian mendapati Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah merupakan seorang daripada ulama islah abad ke-20. Walaupun beliau tidak mendapat pendidikan yang sistematik dan hanya belajar di Minangkabau sahaja, beliau mampu muncul sebagai tokoh pembaharu dan islah yang memberi impak besar kepada gerakan islah di Minangkabau terutamanya reformasi pendidikan Islam dan juga islah pemikiran Islam di Minangkabau. Pembaharuan pendidikan Islam yang dilakukan oleh Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah menjadi asas dan model kepada pembaharuan pendidikan Islam di seluruh Minangkabau dan juga Indonesia. ABSTRACT Objectives: to describe the strategies used by street market saleswomen to recognize their health needs. Methods: qualitative research, based on the Human Needs Theory. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews, with the participation of 15 street market saleswomen. Content Analysis was used to interpret the results. Results: the following categories emerged: “Potentialities and challenges for addressing health needs”, which reflect changes in attitudes and practices related to socially recognized behaviors as harmful, and changes in the work process; and “Popular practices in health care”, which points out therapeutic alternatives for the resolution of health problems. Final considerations: the therapeutic choices of street market saleswomen are geared towards meeting their perceived health needs. While the minority of these women recognize their more complex health needs to satisfy it, it is necessary to overcome barriers and limitations in an ongoing way in their lives.

This article discusses the poem "Sajak Pertemuan Mahasiswa" by W.S. Rendra. The discussion of this poem is motivated by efforts and efforts to apply the concept of poetry structure put forward by Lévi-Strauss. The description of the structure of this poem aims to display the structure of the poem consisting of the outer structure (surface structure) and the inner structure (deep structure). The outer structures that will be discussed are forms of text, diction, and sound, while the inner structures that will be discussed are imagery, compounds, and themes. The method used in this study is descriptive of analytics with a type of qualitative research, namely placing the text of poetry as the object and research data. Data collection techniques are done by identifying, classifying, and recording. Data anlysis is done by meaning direct and directed content. Analysis is done by discussing the structure of poetry consisting of text, diction, and sound, imagery, compounds, and themes. The results showed that the structure of Lévi-Strauss poetry can determine the overall meaning and message of poetry. The use of blank verse, simple diction, dominance of vocal sounds /a/, thought imagery, and metaphorical-rhetorical majas refers to the theme of "openness". This theme can be interpreted very broadly, namely openness to justice, education, employment, income, and livelihood. This openness is tried by students as agents of change and a bridge between the government and the people.
