The key to the normal growth and development of flowering shrubs is to provide optimal living conditions in the juvenile period. Obtaining high-quality planting material in a nursery using biologized techniques is a fundamental component of their future resistance to a complex of abiotic and biotic factors. The use of vermicompost (6 t / ha) as a fertilizer base and biologically active substances contributed to the production of high-quality seedlings. The applied biologic techniques contributed to the improvement of the growth and development of flowering shrubs, which influenced the reduction of damage by pests and diseases, the formation of healthy, decorative and attractive plants. Based on the analysis of the vital state, we ranked flowering shrubs according to their prospects for use in landscape design of the territory of urban ecosystems. Promising species for landscaping urban ecosystems in terms of a set of indicators are: Berberis thunbergii DC., Chaenomeles japonica (Thunb.) Lindl.), Lonicera caprifolium L., Physocarpus opulifolius L., Philadelphus coronaries L., Sorbaria sorbifolia L., Syringa velutina L. и Weigela florida DC.

Observations over a period of 6 years are reported on 10 children in whom the diagnosis of congenital sucrase isomaltase deficiency (SID) was confirmed by quantitative estimation of disaccharidase activity of the small intestinal mucosa. Repeat biopsies were performed on eight of the ten patients and showed no evidence that sucrase isomaltase activity is acquired. Sucrose tolerance tests (2 gm/kg) showed no significant rise in blood glucose in the seven patients in whom they were performed. This condition may appear in young infants with severe diarrhea resulting in a malabsorption syndrome and failure to thrive. It may also be manifest in a milder clinical presentation with bothersome diarrhea in spite of normal growth and development in the older infant or young child. The diagnosis in this latter group can be difficult, and is frequently missed.

Scientific research was based on certain morphometric indices of various trout groups, which allows us to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of fish feeding with Aller Aqua and Aquafeed Fischfutter. The main task of trout farming is to obtain a commodity trout for the shortest possible time. In this case, the intensity of the growth of rainbow trout leads to the absence of feed, which is used in its cultivation. For active growth and development of fish, a high level of protein in the stern is required, which should be used specifically for plastic exchange, and not for the energy organism. Inner-shell left arms inviting them to optimize their chemical composition of feed, but they are energetic, perform in the body of fish a number of other vital functions: structure, regulatory and others, and serve as precursors of many biologically active substances that have validity and hormones. While growing rainbow trout, it is necessary to take into account its phenotypes of characteristics, which show that the level of breeding stability of the fish population and determines the attractiveness of products on the consumer market. The composition of feed primarily affects the metabolism of fish, which determines the intensity of their growth and development, and is also realized by trout. Fodder for the cultivation of salmon fish are made from industrial fishing waste. An economically viable alternative source of raw materials serves vegetal products (oils, sunflower proteins, soybeans, maize glutenin, and others), which, however, do not have a forage base of predatory fish appearing in natural waters. At present, the influence of different compositions on the morphometric and physiological biochemical characteristics of the culture, especially salmon, is actively studied, but these problems remain unchanged. The dynamics of the intensity of growth and development of rainbow trout is ensured by the feeding regime of fish. The publication of the published differences in the nature of the massif and the flow of rainbow trout species, which ensure the use of Aller Aqua and Aquafeed Fischfutter mixed fodders.

As a basis for breeding cvs adapted to flowering in winter light conditions, the growth of hybrid tea rose seedlings under controlled conditions was studied. Irradiance varied from 4-24 W/m2, day length was 8 h, temperature 21 deg C. Like cvs, the seedlings sometimes aborted the flower bud at low light intensity. With increasing irradiances, the following phenomena were observed: the juvenile period of the seedlings shortened; plants were longer at bud formation, at first flowering and at flower bud abortion; leaf area and the number of petals increased. Leaf number was constant at all irradiances. Flowering seedlings were smaller at bud formation, but taller at actual flowering than blind ones. Blind seedlings had fewer leaves with a smaller area. Common causes of respiratory distress in a term infant include transient tachypnoea of newborn, sepsis/congenital pneumonia and congenital heart diseases. Surgical causes of distress in a newborn are rare and should be considered when other causes have been ruled out. We report a case of an early term female neonate who developed respiratory distress immediately after birth which was gradually progressive and required respiratory support. On evaluation with chest radiography and CT, a diagnosis of congenital lobar emphysema (CLE) was made. Immediate surgical resection was planned and done on day 8 of life. Post operatively she had no respiratory distress and discharged within a week. Baby is now healthy with normal growth and development. Half of the cases of CLE are diagnosed within the first 6 months of life but very few cases present with respiratory distress since birth. Timely diagnosis and early surgical excision in neonates <2 months improve the outcome, as seen in our case.

The nutritional adequacy of plant-based diets is discussed. Energy and protein intakes are similar for plant-based diets compared with those containing meat. Fe and vitamin B12 are the nutrients most likely to be found lacking in such diets. Bioactive substances present in foods of plant origin significantly influence the bioavailability of minerals and requirements for vitamins. Well-balanced vegetarian diets are able to support normal growth and development. It is concluded that meat is an optional rather than an essential constituent of human diets.

All physicians who care for children require a knowledge of normal growth and development in order to detect and interpret abnormalities. Yet traditional instruction tends to focus on the ill child and rarely provides students the opportunity to follow up the cases of healthy children over a prolonged period of time. A new course was developed that enabled students to observe the longitudinal development of a normal infant from birth to age 16 months. At the completion of the course, a multiple-choice examination covering developmental concepts from birth to age 6 years was administered to the students who participated in this course (experimental group) and to two comparison Groups. The experimental group scored substantially higher than both comparison groups on items covering birth to age 18 months. The program offers an opportunity for medical students to observe the longitudinal development of a normal infant and appears complementary to other instructional methods.

When producing high-quality food products, special attention should be paid to their packaging and storage. Vitamin and mineral concentrates used for food preparation and production of high-quality safe livestock products contain a complex of labile biologically active substances, for the safety of which it is necessary to minimize oxidative processes. This leads to increased requirements for the packaging of such products. In order to select the material and method of packaging of vitamin and mineral concentrates, a thematic review of publications of domestic and foreign scientists was conducted. Trends in the use of packaging materials are considered, advantages and disadvantages of biopolymers are indicated. It was found that for packaging vitamin and mineral concentrate, polymer pellicle with high light and gas tightness, which allows reducing the rate of oxidative processes and, consequently, reducing the loss of labile biologically active substances contained in the product, should be used as a packaging material. Vacuuming, which ensures the absence of oxygen in the air in the package, can be recommended as a method of packaging.
