During the period of COVID-19 pandemic when mostly all the universities have transferred to distant learning, the educational effect of many interactive methods partially reduced. However, simulation is underestimated by university professors and scarsely used in the educational process. Despite a profound interest in interactive methods, theoretical and practical issues of simulation still need examination, especially in the context of competence-based education. In present research pedagogical, psychological and linguistic issues of simulation are studied. Though, simulation is often referred to as a method or a game, we consider it to be an educational technology. Contrary to entertaining simulation, educational simulation used as technology usually is more than a case, because it has a structured scenario with a system of rules and prohibitions, which are created with a certain idea of forming specific competences. The practical part of the article contains a description of the empirical study of the simulation technology results used at English lessons at the technical university, which prove a high educational efficiency of simulation technology in the professional development of future engineers of agro-complex.

Principles for formation of educational programs in the “Technosphere safety” direction in a technical high educational institution are considered in this paper. A strategy of the course, providing continuity with other disciplines of the natural-science cycle, allowing form students’ future professional image on lectures, practical and laboratory sessions has been defined. It has been demonstrated that the safe behavior culture formation supposes the willingness and ability to use the acquired body of knowledge, skills and abilities related to safe behavior in any sphere of activity. The experience related to interactive classes use in the educational process of Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University’s “Health and Safety Training Course” chair has been marked. It has been demonstrated that interactive methods, without replacing the lectures, contribute to better assimilation of theoretical material and effectively form students’ opinions, relations, and behavior habits. When using the interactive forms, the teacher distributes roles for lesson participants, gives overview tasks, regulates the brainstorming process, and participates in discussions of assigned problems.

The development of the pharmaceutical industry is one of the priority tasks of our state, aimed at providing the population of the Russian Federation with modern safe and effective medicines. The solution to this problem is impossible without the formation of a highly qualified personnel potential that meets the demand and expectations of the pharmaceutical market and society as a whole. In this regard, in the system of training of pharmacists in recent years, quite dynamic and flexible transformations have been taking place, dictated by the urgent needs of domestic health care. It should be noted that in the process of implementing this educational standard, the competency-based approach to organizing the process of training modern pharmacists comes to the fore. One of the effective tools for the formation of professional competencies in various educational fields is the case study method. Case study is a training method based on the analysis of real situations from various areas of professional activity and contributing to the development of specialist competency. The competency-based orientation of the case study method is in line with modern ideas about the organization of the educational process for the training of pharmacists. The case study method is actively used in the process of teaching disciplines of the curriculum of the Federal State Budget Educational Establishment of Higher Education KubGMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia, specialty 33.05.01 Pharmacy. Examples of case study tasks as educational technology are presented in the work programs of the curriculum disciplines of the specialty 33.05.01 Pharmacy developed at the Department of Pharmacy. The possibilities of Wolfram Mathematica (WM), which is a package of symbolic mathematics, are endless. In this paper are investigated the possibilities of WM software product contextualization in the process of geometric-graphic teaching of students; is considered the experience for using a set of WM computational algorithms in teaching practice. The source codes and output data of our own WOLFRAM projects are offered, which are illustrative, in the form of interactive graphs, visualization of the solution for one of DG course’s basic problems on construction of points A, B, C and D, given by coordinates in space; construction a plane of general position passing through points A, B and C; determining positions of these points and the constructed plane in space; and also on determining the point D belonging to this plane. Have been presented examples of several of the existing WOLFRAM projects in the form of interactive graphs used in teaching. The study of applied issues and the ability to translate a professional problem into mathematical language, working in WM, provides a student with an opportunity to assimilate the necessary competencies. Interactive visualization of solving DG problems, which can be carried out using WM, together with traditional problem solving, enriches the content of geometric education, introduces new opportunities in organization of the educational process, allows stimulate, maintain and increase students' interest in studying the discipline and further research in the area of DG. However, the ability to work in WM cannot replace the fundamental knowledge obtained by students of a technical high educational institute from the traditional course, but only complements the DG course by WM acquaintance.

Modern sources of danger make new demands on the system of advanced training of managerial staff of government agencies and medical professionals whose activities are related to the organization and implementation of measures for civil protection. Improving their skills is aimed at forming readiness to perform complex tasks in a single state system of civil and its component – medical protection and involves the development of new general theoretical and special-technological and medical knowledge, expanding the range of skills and practical skills. The paper, based on logical analysis, reveals the features of professional development of government officials and medical professionals on civil protection in modern conditions, substantiated proposals to improve the process of their training. As a result of the study, the state of affairs was studied and it was argued that the optimization of improvement and professional development of government and medical specialists of the system of emergency care and disaster medicine on civil and medical protection as a functional subsystem in a single state civil protection system provides an organic combination different forms, methods and content of education, depending on the capabilities of the educational institution and the needs of the person. The above is not possible without the introduction of a rational construction of universal design during the educational process in a higher education institution, a civil defense institution. The urgency of these issues is confirmed by the course of our country for integration into the European Union, and this requires, in modern conditions, systematic improvement of the educational process and optimization of the level of professional development of these categories of personnel using the experience of developed countries. that meet world standards and requirements of today. Keywords: advanced training, managerial staff of government bodies, medical specialists, civil protection, emergency situation.

The modernization of higher education is mandatory condition for the current stage of Russian society development and the ensuring of the Russian economy competitiveness. One of the priority issues of modernization is the strengthening of the significance of self-students studying. This is due primarily to the considerable reduction in the number of classroom sessions and the increase in hours provided for self-students studying. Self-studying becomes the basis for the professional development of a bachelor, encourage his cognitive interests, promotes the essential objectives of the training, that is, the formation of communicative and professional competences. The nature of the relationship between the teacher and the bachelor alters within the framework of competence-oriented education. The teacher, released from the mere transfer of knowledge, gets freedom in choosing forms of interaction or rather in choosing the methods used in such field of studying as “Foreign Language”. Classical teaching methods are replaced with new ones. The emergence of information and communication technologies led to their rapid introduction into the educational process. The organization of self-students studying through the use of information and communication technologies is of great interest to many educational specialists. The specific nature of information and communication technologies lies in the creation in the educational process of various kinds of relations and conditions of real life, requiring from bachelors not only the knowledge of work-related material, but also their familiarization with a given image, a holistic immersion in the professional environment. The use of simulation technology facilitates the formation of cognitive-search activity of bachelors, causes incentive for learning a foreign language.
