The article examines the modern approach in the pedagogical science of training future decorative and applied art artists, the search for new forms of practice, especially museum practice. The issue of forming future specialists’ professional competencies is always acute, but today, in connection with the issues of the pandemic and the partial transition to distance learning, it has become particularly relevant and topical, including the field of art education. The authors are tasked to analyze the effectiveness of the discipline «Museum Practice» in a remote form, the development of professional competencies by bachelors. In the standard situation, this practice is partially conducted in the city museums where the university is located and also off-premise, by personal attendance, but in the 2019-2020 academic year, changes were made to the curriculum of the field of education «Decorative and Applied Arts and Folk Crafts» at the Southern Federal University, and the practice was held in an online form. The article considers the issue of remote dialogue between teacher-student-museum, identifies the positive and negative aspects of this form of communication for the development of professional competencies by future applied artists. The use of interactive, multimedia and visual technologies in the synthesis with independent work of the student gives a positive effect for the development of the necessary professional skills, even in a non-standard situation of practical training.

The article deals with the applicants' professional competencies formation in higher education in the process of self-analysis of Ukrainian literature lessons during pedagogical practices.Pedagogical practice in a higher education institution is one of the most important problems in the philology teacher's training system for practical activities in secondary schools of various types. It is a link between theoretical learning and future independent work at school. In the process of practice, theoretical knowledge acquired during training is consolidated and deepened, professional skills and abilities are developed, pedagogical thinking and creative abilities are developed, the process of formation of professional and personal qualities is intensified.Attention is paid to the peculiarities of literature lessons, the task of practical training. Ukrainian literature as a subject is the main subject of anthropology at school. Great importance was attached to these lessons by the outstanding Ukrainian pedagogue-humanist, philologist V. O. Sukhomlinsky.Among other disciplines of literature, the teacher paid special attention. In the literary work, he saw the breadth and versatility that opens space for students to think, moral and aesthetic activities. Literature as a subject, said V. Sukhomlinsky, opens the way to an independent research approach in the analysis  of both the individual artistic image and the work of art as a whole. A number of practical skills that students must master in the process of different types of practices are considered. During pedagogical practice, the student-trainee must master the basics of constructive-planning, communicative-teaching, organizational, and research skills and implement them in the conditions of independent work. Algorithms for analysis and self-analysis of lessons of Ukrainian literature are presented. When evaluating a literature lesson, it is necessary to take into account such general didactic criteria as normativeness, organization, the logic of flow, scientific content, optimal methods and techniques, educational content, developmental orientation.

Globalization processes along with a dynamic life inevitably set new challenges for universities. The content of educational programs should be oriented not only to meet the needs of society in the modern world, but also to be predicted for the future. The institution of higher education should be open to the needs of the labour market, innovations and public queries. When preparing a specialist in a particular field of knowledge, the university is supposed to lay the foundations for adoption of innovations, continuous education, etc. One of the means of realizing the set goals is the introduction of the practice-oriented training. The purpose of the research is to analyze the development of the introduction of the literary theater in the educational process of Boris Grinchenko University of Kyiv. For this purpose, the mission of the Center of Competences «Literary Theater», created at the Department of Ukrainian Literature and Comparative Studies of the Institute of Philology, has been presented; students’ expectations for conducting a series of practical classes at the Center have been studied by using the survey method; meaningful achievements of introduction of the elements of theater pedagogy into the educational process of the University College have been conceptualized; the experience of readings in the course «Theory of Mass Communication in Communication» has been presented. For studying practical experience, empirical methods of pedagogical research have been laid as a basis. The results of the questionnaire show that in the first year students prefer personal development rather than professional improvement. Most of the answers have to do with the fears students would like to overcome. That is why the work in the Center is designed in a way to facilitate the formation of not only professional competencies, but also interactive skills: organizational, communicative, perceptual, predictive, etc. As a result, it poses the effective implementation of the practice-oriented educational strategy of the institution. The project work has shown that it is important to take videos of performances and intermediate stages of work with the subsequent obligatory analyses of what has been shot by a camera. Given the experience of the University College in the preparation of theatrical excursions, it is worth considering the possibility of touring and festival performances of students as a source of experience in the formation of a specialist. Scenario reading of an unknown text by students is an optimal form of working with students of non-philological specialties. In most cases, staging is merely an element of a practical training; however, it plays its significant part in the building of professional competencies

The article proposes a model for forecasting the success of student’s learning. The model is a Markov process with continuous time, such as the process of “death and reproduction”. As the parameters of the process, the intensities of the processes of obtaining and assimilating information are offered, and the intensity of the process of assimilating information takes into account the attitude of the student to the subject being studied. As a result of applying the model, it is possible for each student to determine the probability of a given formation of ownership of the material being studied in the near future. Thus, in the presence of an automated information system of the university, the implementation of the model is an element of the decision support system by all participants in the educational process. The examples given in the article are the results of an experiment conducted at the Institute of Space and Information Technologies of Siberian Federal University under conditions of blended learning, that is, under conditions when classroom work is accompanied by independent work with electronic resources.

Every teacher must realize that he/she needs to be highly motivated, committed, passionate, and optimistic towards his/her students as well as his/her teaching in order to create a positive and productive impact on the students and their learning outcomes. It is a proven fact that teachers who are sincere, caring, approachable, supportive and inspiring can easily enable their students to become enthusiastic, successful and creative learners. John Hattie, a proponent of Evidence Based Quantitative Research Methodologies on the Influences on Student achievement, who is also a Professor of Education and Director of the Melbourne Education Research Institute at the University of Melbourne, Australia, has noted in his study that a harmonious classroom can assist with the development of creativity as well as reduce anxiety levels amongst students. In my opinion, the primary objective of all effective and conscious teachers should be to promote a safe and healthy learning environment wherein students will feel confident, comfortable, happy and accepted. Time and again, I am convinced of the fact that only effective and conscious teachers understand, acknowledge and therefore, appreciate the significance of creating a rapport and bonding with their students for providing an education that is positive, productive and progressive. When teachers display a positive and congenial attitude towards their students, they not only make them ‘learn better, faster and deeper’ but make them self-confident and self-reliant too. Building positive, supportive, cooperative and mutually strong teacher-student relationships is the key to create a welcoming, healthy and conducive learning space in which students are enabled to thrive, prosper and go on to become what they are meant to be in life. And it is only by forging and nurturing a strong and positive relationship with their students, can teachers create a healthy and conducive learning atmosphere wherein students feel welcome, accepted, respected, loved and cared for, wherein learning becomes fun and joy. Conscious and committed teachers promote the art of positive parenting in every classroom and in every school to enable the students to become confident learners by willingly and happily shouldering the responsibility of being their ‘second parents’.When teachers teach with passion, display positive attitude towards their students and their success, and show genuine care for them, the students reciprocate with respect for their teachers, interest and love for their learning.
